Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Charizard d with basic metal FTW?

The point of using Charizard to attack is just simply brute strength. 120? GG [almost] everything =D
Better running it with as few techy things as possible, just go for consistent KOs like Sally ex DX.

Its Pure and simple Salamence d is better and if you run charizard you will lose it is much too slow and takes 4 energies to attack at all, and no reistance's

Allow me to sum up your comment on the deck in two words:

Charizard ATTACK!!!!1!!!1!!1ONE!

Personally I think Salamance is just so much better than Charizard d with flygon d because has 2 major resistances, one retreat, 2 attacks when the first one allows you to an energy back, can't be hurt by cursed stone/zzap, and his attack only requires a metal and fire and 2 colorless while charizards requires two metal, electric, and colorless, In addition for only twetny less damage you only discard one energy, Its obviously a better play with Flygon d....

The problem right now with Slalmence is it is C weak and most ppl are running Delcatty /EX which just slaughters it!

Zard is weak to W and Emp is making a dent in the format, but until rotation.... Ape Catty is just to much IMHO for Salamence to handle!

Either way you cut, you still have to consisently drop two metals a turn so I just don't think its that good

Actualy the most awsome card for attack power is Sally ex PK, to take care of colerless weekness just run a 1-1 Blastoise d line.

Hozard is a very good deck that I and Eric Nance have been playing around with and on average I will peal of thunder 4 energy onto Ho-Oh EX and I have ended a good number of games with Ho-Oh EX maxing out at a very nice 170, Today at League I went 6-0 with it. But it does have it's share of problems with power hitters like Raichu and Cursed Stone, but oh well, can't win 'em all.

I have actually played this deck for some time and tried several variants. Seems to work best 3-2-3 Charizard d, 2-2-2 Flygon d, 4 Castforms and a Chimeco. Fearow d also works well. Of course you mentor for the Holon Castforms, then Farmer them back to your deck. Works best without metals. Use DRE on Flygon (if needed) until you can Castform it back.
Attach a Castform, then Delta Supply the Elecric energy back on ChaR d. 120 FTW!
OK against Infernape (Flygon weak to Catty) and Metanite, must be patient against Stantler and Delta.
I play it because no one else does and it is fun and a challenge to beat other decks.
Plus if you can "last gasp" Rare Candy into Charizard, and "Peel" for the energy....Better than a flip IMO!!!

Its never fun to play auto wins against EVERYBODY.
