yeah, Element_Enigma just ripped me too. According to his profile, he was online about half an hour ago, so he couldn't have missed my PMs. He stole zekrom EX FA and Shaymin EX FA over false trading. Disgusting.
 
I don't mean to be rude, but could you guys please leave negative feedback for this guy if he ripped you? Not everyone reads this thread so some folks might not catch on to your warnings if there isn't any feedback to reflect it. It's the surest way of spreading the word. Thanks!

Whenever I am ripped, I give em the negative ref ASAP.
However in the same sense, EVERYONE should keep an eye on this thread whenever there is a reply.

I personally have dealt with E E, though that was a long time ago...
They sent first and everything went over swimmingly...
 
if anybody knows the person, username: DragonairMaster8...please let him know that i'm still waiting for the cards i bought and paid for oin his selling thread.....it's been over 2 weeks now, i sent pm and emails, no response

We confirmed a trade and he backed out. He never did our trade. So I deleted it. But if someone has a negative ref I would just tell them to send first or I will never trade with you or something like that.

I think this is a wise course of action: don't trade first with someone with negative refs, and if they refuse to send first, play it safe and just don't go ahead. Better to lose an enticing trade than to lose your cards over nothing.


One good thing I suggest while you're building up refs is to do trades with people with 15+ positives (or whatever amount of positives you feel comfortable with) and no negative feedback. It substantially cuts down on the possibility of getting ripped. Just a thought.

He's right I see a lot of new bees doing big trades and its to someone with only 5 more refs then them.
I look out for a lot of my friends on here so keep the good trading going.

Anyone had any problems with Kirstin? We did a trade involving my Tropical Beach, I figured a user with such high amount of positive references wouldn't be an issue. But their communication is beyond piss poor. They confirmed ( and my Delivery Confirmation did as well ) that my package was received on 03/27/2012. Since then, they messaged me to say that it was shipped, but when I message to ask about the status, and tracking #. I get no responses. I keep seeing the user post to different threads and such, but seems to be clearly ignoring me.


My question is, how long should I give before contacting the Tribunal/Filing mail fraud?

I too need a follow-up with kirstin, but he might just be really busy. I can empathize. I'd give it up to a month personally, since I'm in no major rush.

On another personal subject, your items should ship no later than Monday from me.

He is probably really busy because he is very very trusted by everyone. I don't know anyone that would rip someone when they have 100+ refs.
 
He he, yeah I figured as much. Was just a bit confused, since he said he shipped over a week ago, and he is in the US. While I've had packages from Malaysia arrive that were done after our transaction, I'll just tough it out. Thanks for the positive words. : D
 
I traded with Articuno33 recently and haven't heard anything back or received my card... I mailed 2 weeks ago. Anyone else trade with him recently?

Well...

I've been around. I've seen the good, the bad, the ugly, and the really ugly. Perhaps someday even I could become a super villain (albeit very unwise since lots of people know where I live). Point being, you never really know what could happen in the future. All you can really do is trust your instincts and hope any expectations are met.

tl;dr. As long as I'm about +50 over waynegg on iTrader, I'm satisfied. :tongue:
 
kirstin can be verrrry unresponsive it might take a bit but you should recieve but ya if he's busy why is he posting on threads and not taking the extra 2-3 min to actually get back to you ? last 3 times we have traded he has been very responsive and eventually got to me =/ just give it some time we havnt traded for a couple of years and knowing he still does it make this a very bad habbit for him but you there should be no worries but if something does happen just report it =]

I know he's very new, but he backed out of our trade after addresses were exchanged. I left the neutral ref with the warning to probably avoid him.
Is he elsewhere in the online trading world? Other issues?

Has anyone traded with Articuno33? About 2 weeks ago I traded with him around the same time I made a trade with some other guys and both of my other trades have already been totally completed, but I still don't have any word from Articuno33 that he's even received my cards let alone shipped his end of the deal. I've sent him a couple of follow up messages (one with a read receipt) too, but he has yet to respond or read the message that required a read receipt.

Me and him are actually friends in RL. I was at his house when he told me about the trade you guys were doing (I think it was for Mewtwo, Rev Catcher, and some other stuff?). He was pretty excited about the trade when I came over and bought stamps and toploaders to mail the stuff, but last minute I think he realized he didn't really need a full art mewtwo and got scared that he was trading away a ton of EXes and full arts.
