Scanning the A version of Cipher Breaks In with Blackglasses, Twistedspoon, Mystic Water, Miracle Seed, and Charcoal (the latter five cards are from the Pokémon League Guys set) allows for a new mission to be done in the game. Ruby/Sapphire needs no further cards, but to activate the mission in FireRed/LeafGreen requires Team Flora Technical Machine 01 and Team Plasma Technical Machine 01 from Plasma/Rocket Ambitions, while in Colosseum the required card is the B version of Cipher Breaks In. First, go to one of the following: Prof. Birch's lab (Ruby/Sapphire), Prof. Oak's lab (FireRed/LeafGreen), or the Phenac City Pokémon Center (Colosseum). When you emerge, Gonzap will run up to you (despite what version you scanned the card into) and tell you that Team Cipher is holding up one of the following: the Pokémon League (Evergrande in R/S, Indigo Plateau in FR/LG) or Phenac Stadium (Colosseum). You'll then have to agree to let Gonzap follow you (and, in Colosseum, Rui as well). The grunts challenge in pairs, and it's a Multi Battle (you choose 3, Gonzap uses his 3). Eventually you'll meet up with Evice and Nascour, whom you'll both have to face in a Multi Battle. Once they've fallen, Evice will give you a Scizor that knows a move that it can't normally learn, deposit it into your PC, then leave.

Scanning the A version of Snagem Breaks In with Blackglasses, Black Belt, Metal Coat, Silk Scarf, and Magnet (the latter five cards are from the Pokémon League Guys set) allows for a new mission to be done in the game. Ruby/Sapphire needs no further cards, but to activate the mission in FireRed/LeafGreen requires Team Flora Technical Machine 01 and Team Plasma Technical Machine 01 from Plasma/Rocket Ambitions, while in Colosseum the required card is the B version of Snagem Breaks In. First, go to one of the following: Prof. Birch's lab (Ruby/Sapphire), Prof. Oak's lab (FireRed/LeafGreen), or the Phenac City Pokémon Center (Colosseum). When you emerge, Nascour will run up to you (despite what version you scanned the card into) and tell you that Team Snagem is holding up one of the following: the Sootopolis City Gym (Ruby/Sapphire), the Rocket Headquarters on Chrono Island (FireRed/LeafGreen), or the Outskirt Stand (Colosseum). You'll then have to agree to let Nascour follow you (and, in Colosseum, Rui as well). The grunts challenge in pairs, and it's a Multi Battle (you choose 3, Nascour uses his 3). Eventually you'll meet up with Gonzap and Agnol, whom you'll both have to face in a Multi Battle. Once they've fallen, Gonzap will give you a Crawdaunt that knows a move that it can't normally learn, deposit it into your PC, then leave.

Gonzap's Team: L53 Pinsir, L55 Crawdaunt, L53 Heracross
Agnol's Team: L53 Sableye, L55 Kingdra, L53 Girafarig
Nascour's Team: L53 Gardevoir, L55 Metagross, L53 Alakazam
Evice's Team: L53 Scizor, L55 Aggron, L55 Slowking
Gonzap's Reward Pokémon: L5 Crawdaunt w/Flamethrower
Evice's Reward Pokémon: L5 Scizor w/Fly

The mission can be done only once, however, Aqua Breaks In, Flora Breaks In, Plasma Breaks In, Rocket Breaks In, Magma Breaks In, Cipher Breaks In, and Snagem Breaks In (Plasma Breaks In and Rocket Breaks In are in the Plasma/Rocket Ambitions set, Cipher Breaks In and Snagem Breaks In are in this set, the rest are in the Pokémon League Guys set) are considered separate missions. Scanning in the card afterward will allow you to fight a matching team grunt in the room in Mossdeep (R/S), the Altering Cave on Fortune Island (FR/LG), or a cave in the heights of Agate Village (Colosseum).

Scan Team Cipher Schemer (A) and Team Snagem Schemer (A) along with the Alliance cards from Magma/Aqua/Flora Axis and the three Schemers from Plasma/Rocket Ambitions. No additional card needed for R/S, Team Flora Ball and Team Plasma Ball from Plasma/Rocket Ambitions is also required for FR/LG, Team Cipher Schemer (B) and Team Snagem Schemer (B) is also required for Colosseum. This will add Cipher Peons and Snagem grunts to the e-Reader data. The location is the Sealed Chamber in R/S, the Altering Cave on Fortune Island in FR/LG, and the front lawn of Mt. Battle in Colosseum. The Team Cipher ID number is 12346, the Team Snagem ID number is 12347.

Scan the A versions of Team Cipher Peon and Team Snagem Grunt along with the Archie/Maxie/Farlie/Plasmae/Aqua Grunt/Magma Grunt/Flora Grunt/Plasma Grunt/Rocket Grunt combination from Magma/Aqua/Flora Axis and Plasma/Rocket Ambitions, will scatter seven Cipher Peons and Snagem grunts all over the place. It's active in Ruby/Sapphire immediately, when Team Flora Belt and Team Plasma Belt from Plasma/Rocket Ambitions is scanned in to FireRed/LeafGreen, and when the B versions of Team Cipher Peon and Team Snagem Grunt are scanned in to Colosseum. Here's the locations of the new grunts and the old grunts in Colosseum:

Ruby/Sapphire
Cipher: Route 101, Route 103 (west), Route 106 (land), Route 109 (land), Route 103 (east), Route 112 (east), Route 113
Snagem: Route 102, Route 104 (south), Route 107 (land), Route 110, Route 111 (south), Route 111 (north), Route 114

FireRed/LeafGreen
Cipher: Route 1, Route 2, Route 4, Route 25, Route 6, Route 10 (north), Route 8
Snagem: Route 22, Route 3, Route 24, Route 5, Route 9, Route 10 (south), Route 7

Colosseum
Magma: All seven in Phenac City
Aqua: All seven in Pyrite Town
Flora: All seven in Agate Village
Plasma: All seven on the front lawn of Mt. Battle
Rocket: All seven in The Under
Cipher: All seven at the Outskirt Stand
Snagem: All seven at the Shadow Pokémon Lab

First two locations for Cipher and Snagem have a single L30 Slowpoke (Cipher) or Swinub (Snagem). The second two locations for Cipher and Snagem have one L31 Poochyena and one L31 Slowking (Cipher) or Piloswine (Snagem). The fifth location for Cipher and Snagem has one L32 Slowpoke (Cipher) or Swinub (Snagem), one L33 Mightyena, and one L32 Starmie (Cipher) or Primeape (Snagem). The sixth location for Cipher and Snagem has two L35 Starmie (Cipher) or Primeape (Snagem), two L35 Kirlia (Cipher) or Nosepass (Snagem), and two L35 Slowking (Cipher) or Piloswine (Snagem), the last of which holds a Starf berry.

The seventh location for Cipher and Snagem has 6 of the same Pokémon, all at L36. Those Pokémon are Slowking (Cipher) or Piloswine (Snagem). The first one holds a Liechi Berry, the second a Ganlon Berry, the third a Salac Berry, the fourth a Petaya Berry, the fifth an Apicot Berry, and the sixth a Lansat Berry.

If you can get Evice to approach you, you'll recieve a L5 Chansey. If you can get Gonzap to approach you, you'll recieve a L5 Cleffa. You only get each reward once in this way, but you can re-scatter the Grunts as much as you want.

Archie, Farlie, and Maxie use their Kanto starter rewards in Colosseum.

Scanning a I-A Energy card into Ruby/Sapphire allows for an existing Pokémon to learn a move, once a day (provided you haven't scanned a card that uses that particular team's <team>-Chine (where <team> is the team you scanned in) that day). Once in the room in Mossdeep, you'll approach the <team>-Chine (see note). Select a Pokémon, then you'll activate the machine. Try to line up 3 of the team's leader of the team you scanned in. If you get 0 or 1 of that team's leader (Evice for Cipher, Gonzap for Snagem, the third leader shown on the reels of both of these machines is Plasmae), a list of all the non-damage-dealing moves (moves that inflict only status problems are here) appears. Examples are Tail Whip and Toxic. If you get 2 of the leader, a list of all moves that deals damage with 75 power or less (the set damage moves are here) appears. Examples are Dragon Rage and Bone Club. If you get 3 of the leader, a list of all moves that deal damage with 76 power or more (the one-hit kill moves and Destiny Bond are here) appears. Examples are Frenzy Plant and Sheer Cold. Select a move, then that Pokémon will learn the move.

Add the A versions of Cipher's Realgam Tower, Snagem's Hoard House, Snag Machine Tower, and Shadow Pokémon Lab to the Magma/Aqua/Flora Axis and Plasma/Rocket Ambitions weapon/stadium combos to add the following e-Reader data:

You'll fly to Evergrande City Pokémon League, but you'll land not in front of the building, but in front of a padlocked Victory Road. Something's wrong. Then you see Team Cipher Peons paving the way to the building! To even enter the building, you'll have to clear the peons! The peons have any of the following: a single L50 Slowking (two peons); a L47 Staryu, a L47 Slowpoke, and a L47 Kirlia (one peon); or 2 L48 Mr. Mime (one peon). Once the peons have fallen, you'll face two admins in a double battle (not a Multi Battle). Here are the lineups:

Cipher Admin Venus: L48 Meganium, L48 Raichu, L48 Dusclops
Cipher Admin Ein: L48 Manectric, L48 Rhydon, L48 Crobat

Now that Team Cipher is out of the way, you can finally enter the Pokémon League building! But all is not well! Team Snagem is in the building! You can't even reach Team Plasma until you clear Team Snagem! The grunts here have the following: a single L50 Piloswine (two grunts); a L47 Mankey, a L47 Piloswine, and a L47 Nosepass (one grunt); or 2 L48 Pinsir (one grunt). Once they're cleared out, you'll face two additional grunts in a double battle (not a Multi Battle). Here are the lineups:

Team Snagem Grunt (male): L48 Piloswine, L48 Nosepass, L48 Primeape
Team Snagem Grunt (male): L48 Piloswine, L48 Nosepass, L48 Primeape

Once Team Snagem is gone, it's time to clear out the Plasma, Magma, Aqua, Flora, and Rocket. Once you clear out those teams and their leaders--Evice comes up to you! Dispose of him and you'll have to face Gonzap! Here are their lineups:

Evice: L53 Salamence, L55 Aggron, L53 Machamp, L53 Scizor, L53 Slaking, L53 Slowking
Gonzap: L53 Crawdaunt, L55 Armaldo, L53 Machamp, L53 Breloom, L53 Granbull, L53 Skarmory

The B version of Cipher's Realgam Tower and Shadow Pokémon Lab, when scanned in with any <team> Breaks In mission other than those of Team Cipher and Team Snagem will allow you to perform that mission in Colosseum. The meeting is triggered when you leave the Phenac City Pokémon Center. Here's what's held up in Colosseum:

Magma: The Under Grand Hotel
Aqua: Snagem Hideout
Flora: Agate Village's Celebi Shrine
Plasma: Duking's House in Pyrite Town
Rocket: The Realgam Tower Dome Complex

Also, when doing the Rocket Breaks In mission in Colosseum, the person who joins you is Rider Willie. Here's his team:

Willie's Team: L55 Linoone, L55 Girafarig, L55 Dodrio

Team Flora Conspirator and Team Plasma Conspirator from Plasma/Rocket Ambitions is compatible with the weapon/stadium add-ons from this set to bring it to FireRed/LeafGreen. Fly to the Indigo Plateau to activate.

The B version of Snagem's Hoard House and Snag Machine Tower, when scanned in with the weapon/stadium combo Trainers from Magma/Flora/Aqua Axis and Plasma/Rocket Ambitions, brings the Elite Four mission to Orre. In Orre, go to Mt. Battle and speak to the receptionist. You'll be whisked to Area 4 to face Team Cipher. Beat Evice and go through the Rest House to Area 5, to face Team Snagem. Beat Gonzap and go through the Rest House to Area 6, to face Team Plasma. Beat Plasmae and go through the Rest House to Area 7 and Team Magma. Beat Maxie and go through the Rest House to Area 8 and Team Aqua. Beat Archie and go through the Rest House to Area 9 and Team Flora. Beat Farlie and go through the Rest House to Area 10, where you'll meet Team Rocket. Make it to platform 100 for the induction room encounters.

There is a new mission doable in Orre only. To do it, scan Team Cipher Ball (A), Team Cipher Ball (B), Team Snagem Ball (A), Team Snagem Ball (B), Team Cipher Belt (A), Team Cipher Belt (B), Team Snagem Belt (A), Team Snagem Belt (B), Team Cipher Hideout (A), Team Cipher Hideout (B), Team Snagem Hideout (A), Team Snagem Hideout (B), Cipher Energy (I-B), Cipher Energy (II-A), Cipher Energy (II-B), Snagem Energy (I-B), Snagem Energy (II-A), Snagem Energy (II-B), Team Cipher Technical Machine 01 (A), Team Cipher Technical Machine 01 (B), Team Snagem Technical Machine 01 (A), and Team Snagem Technical Machine 01 (B) into Colosseum.

Here's how the mission goes:

Someone broke into the Phenac City Pokémon Center and stole the Trade Machine. And get this: An impostor Rider Willie has teamed up with Fein, once again pretending to be you, to do the deed! You hear the news by watching the first TV you see. So, you must go to the Outskirt Stand. Rider Willie will be there, talk to him. The rival says, "What? Someone is pretending to be me? (lines clear) This is terrible! This'll hurt the stand's image severely! We've got to work together to clear our names!" So Willie will begin to follow you everywhere you go.

You must find the impostors in three places and partake in a Multi Battle (that is, four-player 2-on-2 battles where each person chooses 3 Pokémon and fights two to a side). You'll find them in the Pyrite Town Police Station, inside the cell Ferma and Reath had once sat in; in the Mt. Battle lobby, blocking the receptionist; and at Snagem Hideout, in Gonzap's office. To get them to that location, you'll have to watch a TV broadcast. Once you've won three times, the impostors will give you and Willie a choice of 3 L5 Kanto starters, each bearing a move they can't normally learn. Finally, you and Willie will have another battle against each other, before returning to the Outskirt Stand (no longer following you). Here's the lineups for IMPOSTORS WILLIE&<you> (where <you> is the name you entered), and the choices:

First Battle:
Broadcast:
"We've just recieved word that two impostors pretending to be RIDER WILLIE and former Team Snagem member [<you>] have been sighted in PYRITE TOWN. The two are believed to have broken into jail. We'll have more as this story develops."
Your name appears on television.
Fake Willie: L30 Sentret, L30 Snubbull, L30 Lileep
Fein: L30 Relicanth, L30 Anorith, L30 Bagon

Second Battle:
Broadcast:
"We've just recieved word that two impostors pretending to be RIDER WILLIE and former Team Snagem member [<you>] have been at MT. BATTLE. The two are preventing people from entering knockout challenges. We'll have more as this story develops."
Your name appears on television.
Fake Willie: L40 Sentret, L40 Snubbull, L40 Lileep
Fein: L40 Magikarp, L40 Anorith, L40 Feebas

Third Battle:
Broadcast: (normal Pokémon News intro)
"We've just recieved word that two impostors pretending to be RIDER WILLIE and former Team Snagem member [<you>] have been sighted at the SNAGEM HIDEOUT. The two are said to be hiding in the office of its leader, GONZAP. We'll have more as this story develops."
Your name appears on television.
Fake Willie: L55 Furret, L55 Granbull, L55 Cradily
Fein: L55 Gyarados, L55 Aramaldo, L55 Milotic
The Choices:
L5 Bulbasaur w/Flamethrower (Willie chooses Charmander)
L5 Charmander w/Surf (Willie chooses Squirtle)
L5 Squirtle w/Thunderbolt (Willie chooses Bulbasaur)

Against the Rival:
Rival: L5 Bulbasaur/Charmander/Squirtle, L53 Linoone, L53 Girafarig, L53 Dodrio
In the set, Willie uses the Pokémon he chose.

Once Willie returns to the stand, return to the Pokémon Center and you'll find the trade machine was returned. Scanning in the cards again after this mission is completed will have a different effect: you'll be able to enter a special knockout challenge at Phenac Stadium. Here are the entries for that challenge:

LADY IN SUIT GEENA: L40 Bulbasaur, L40 Bellsprout
BANDANA GUY DICK: L40 Charmander, L40 Growlithe
COOLTRAINER CHERYL (female): L41 Squirtle, L41 Lapras
RESEARCHER RYAN: L42 Butterfree, L42 Beedrill, L42 Venomoth

The cash prize is 10,000, and a TM09 is awarded once.
