That does it for the upper 260.

Now it's time for the set's nine Pokémon-ex. If you look at post one, you'll now see the question marks have been removed from the Pokémon-ex, revealing the cards. Limits for the Pokémon-ex have been lifted. Also, the Pokémon-ex B versions have different e-Reader data from the non-Pokémon-ex cards.

Here's the first two:

Cipher's Sudowoodo ex
110 HP {F}
Basic Pokémon

Poké-POWER Mega-Mimic-ex
As long as Cipher's Sudowoodo ex is your Active Pokémon and isn't affected by a Special Condition, Cipher's Sudowoodo ex has a copy of each of each Defending Pokémon's attacks, including Energy cost and anything else required in order to use that attack (such as discarding Energy cards). (No matter what type that Defending Pokémon is, Cipher's Sudowoodo ex's type remains Fighting.) If a Defending Pokémon is not a Pokémon-ex, all Energy attached to Cipher's Sudowoodo ex provides both its usual type (color) and {F} but provides only 1 Energy at a time.
{F}{F}{F}{F}{C} Rock Dance Prevent all damage done to Cipher's Sudowoodo ex during your opponent's next turn. (Any other effects of attack still happen.) 60

Weakness: {W}
Resistance: none
Retreat Cost: {C}{C}
e-Reader Yield: L5 Sudowoodo holding TM30. Can learn Metronome, Skill Swap, or Rock Blast.

Snagem's Armaldo ex
140 HP {G}{F}
Stage 2 Pokémon (Evolves from Snagem's Anorith)
(This Pokémon is both {G}{F} type.)

{D}{D}{C} Team-Up Tackle If Snagem's Armaldo ex and Cipher's Armaldo are your Active Pokémon, this attack does 40 damage plus 30 more damage. If there are any {D} Energy cards attached to Snagem's Armaldo ex, you may treat Snagem's Armaldo as a {D} Pokémon during this turn until applying Weakness. 40+
{F}{F}{G}{G}{C} Rock Cutter 70

Weakness: {W}{W}
Resistance: none
Retreat Cost: {C}{C}{C}
e-Reader Yield: L5 Armaldo holding TM46. Can learn Metronome, Skill Swap, or Signal Beam.

{W}{W}{W}{W}{W} Cipher Cannon 80

Weakness: {L}
Resistance: {F}

Cipher's Steelix ex
130 HP {F}{M}
Stage 1 Pokémon (Evolves from Cipher's Onix)
(This Pokémon is both {F}{M} type.)

{M}{M}{M} Lead Slice This attack does 40 damage to each Defending Pokémon and each Defending Pokémon is now Poisoned.
{F}{F}{F}{F}{F} Mega Tremor Flip a coin. If heads, each player's Active Pokémon other than Cipher's Steelix ex are Knocked Out. Either way, this attack does 20 damage to each player's Benched Pokémon (your own and your opponent's). (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)

Also, here's the e-Reader data for the Pokémon-ex B versions (keep in mind that the e-Reader yields are only for the A versions):

Scan all 9 Pokémon-ex-B cards into Pokémon Colosseum, then head for the Pre Gym. Inside, you'll find Justy on the battlefield, talk to him. You'll then be asked to select one of three type combinations. This will determine who you'll face.

The combinations are Rock/Ground/Poison, Water/Ice/Grass, and Fire/Electric.

Here's the list of the battles for the Rock/Ground/Poison combination:

LEADER BROCK: L51 Steelix, L52 Kabutops, L52 Omastar, L53 Golem
LEADER ROXANNE: L52 Nosepass, L53 Golem, L54 Armaldo, L54 Cradily
[PK][MN] RESEARCHER GIOVANNI: L53 Nidoking, L53 Nidoqueen, L54 Dugtrio, L55 Rhydon

LEADER WALLACE: L53 Ludicolo, L54 Milotic, L54 Whiscash, L55 Luvdisc
LEADER ERIKA: L54 Jumpluff, L55 Tangela, L56 Victreebel, L56 Vileplume

And the list of battles for the Fire/Electric combination:

LEADER BLAINE: L52 Rapidash, L52 Arcanine, L53 Magcargo, L54 Magmar
LEADER WATTSON: L53 Magneton, L53 Electrode, L54 Raichu, L55 Manectric
LEADER FLANNERY: L54 Magcargo, L55 Charizard, L55 Blaziken, L56 Torkoal

Beat the Rock/Ground/Poison combination and you'll get a TM39.
Beat the Water/Ice/Grass combination and you'll get a TM03.
Beat the Fire/Electric combination and you'll get a TM34.

Once you beat all three combinations, Justy will then ask you for a rematch. Accept and here's his team:

PREGYMLEADER JUSTY: L60 Sandslash, L60 Gligar, L59 Azumarill, L60 Cacturne, L59 Sunflora, L61 Nosepass

Beat Justy this time around and you'll recieve a TM21.

And here's the e-Reader data for the B versions of these five cards:

You'll then be shown a slot machine similar to the slots in the GBA games, except instead of coins, a credit costs 1000 in money, and you can have three credits per play. Play the slots as you would a GBA slot, except you'll get the following for landing:

Triple 7--1 Time Flute
Triple Bar--1,000,000 in money (Colosseum does NOT have the 999,999 money limit)
Triple Espeon--1 Liechi Berry
Triple Umbreon--1 Lansat Berry
Triple Skarmory--50,000 in money
Triple Cherry--3 Nuggets
Two Cherries to Start a Row--1 Nugget
One Cherry to Start a Row--1 Vivid Scent
If you don't have a Cologne Case, or if you have 99 Vivid Scents in your Cologne Case, you'll get a Hyper Potion instead of a Vivid Scent.

That's it for the cardmaking. After the "Enigma Island Promos Vol. 2" promo set is complete, though, watch this space for one last event that will truly wrap up this expansion.

Well, the Create-a-Card community has enjoyed creating cards of many varieties for years. For the past two years, the e-Reader has been a big part of the card creation process, as not only could the card itself be created, the e-Reader data could also be written as well.

However, the e-Reader never really took off, at least in America. e-Reader data on real cards has been discontinued, and the same must be done in the Create-a-Card community. Therefore, it is with a heavy heart that today, we are bidding the e-Reader a fond farewell. Gone are the days where the e-Reader showed potential. Let us show our respects for the e-Reader.

{A bugle starts playing "Taps"}

{An e-Reader is placed inside a box}

We are here today to say goodbye to the e-Reader. For the past two years, it has graced the life of the Create-a-Card community, even after its popularity started to wane. However, the fun couldn't last forever. I mean, it was designed to fit the original-model GBA. It was be a bit awkward in a GBA-SP, and it doesn't even fit into a DS. Still, we are sad to see it go, but life goes on. Things come, things go.

{A bugle starts playing "Taps"}

{The box with the e-Reader is lowered into the hole}

{The hole is filled with dirt}

I thank you for your time. It's been a fun era, the e-Reader was, but now it's over.

e-Reader
2002-2004
CaC Involvement: 2003-2005

An innovation that never really took off. Still provided grounds for the CaC community, and for that, we thank you.
