Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Colorado City Championships (last updated 1/9/06)

I can't believe I actually missed a Colorado CC this year! Unfortunatly I had to work after getting back from Vacation. I also thought of at least visiting that afternoon, however I was busy with some transition things I had to complete.

Anyways it looks like only two now remain. Wheatridge and Centenial. I am pretty sure getting to both of these will be no problem for me. I don't expect to play in the main event since I claimed the Loveland title. I do hope to trade alot though. I have an all new trade stock and have completely invetory my current collection so I am going to be really open on trades. Plus I will be on the side lines taking any challengers to give away lots of promo cards.

Good luck Colorado! I hope you all do your best!

well chris maybe I didnt win the tourny but I had fun puttin a whooping to your rear
 Yeah I must admit that even though my record was 2-3 that day, I had a blast.

Now, my memory is beyond horrible, and I wasn't able to see who ranked where in the 11-14 age group. I didn't catch everyone in the top 4 either, so for now, I'll post the standings but will update them with the info they need really soon.

15+ Standings:
1st - Kevin Horn
2nd - Luke Clements
3rd - Jared Cisneros
4th - Roberto Seley

11-14 Standings:
1st - Alex H
2nd - Kevin A
3rd - Chris A
4th - Tylor M

10 - Standings:
1st - Jessica H.
2nd - Ryan K.
3rd - Daryn H.
4th - Garrett R.

Anyways, I had a lot of fun, and I was glad we were able to accomodate enough space for 36 players (barely!). I was hoping to find an empty lot, but had no luck after a month and a half of searching for another venue space due to liability issues/concerns. I'm very proud of the 3 of my 15+ players for coming in the top 4 and putting Lakewood and Wheat Ridge on the map! :thumb:

Thanks to everyone from afar who traveled to get here, and thanks for putting up with the tight space!

Second Place in ten and under was Ryan. He ran a dark Dragonite/eveelution/ursaring deck.

GJ Luke, hopefully that 1-4 record got rid of my bad luck for the rest of the tourney season.

It aint called bad luck if you use dammed jynx! :frown:
btw sry I couldnt play appr today maybe i can tomorrow

I took 11-14 agian with SMP. Also round 4 I played Kevin Horn and showed him some Hot Tie Power with a great game ending with me winning.

yeah, ur hot tie wasnt so hot int he 5th round was it? hehehehe good game anyway. and weedler, i hope u got rid of that bad luck! sheesh! 1-4!!! ill build ya a deck man :D

Well all I have to say about Ander's deck... Jynx has got to go, You were however lucky into stalling my fully charged Venusaur while it lasted, but you didn't get out any Pokemon that had more than 70 HP!

It's ok, my luck wasn't that great either, I came in 2-3 with one of my greatest decks with the worst of luck, but I still had a great time. I guess that's what I get for relying on coin flips too much... I've built 3 new decks since Tuesday's CC, and I'm ready to test them out!

Also, I updated the standings, they are correct now...

Wheat Ridge is now done with only one more City Championship left. If you haven't won one yet now is the time to get the game to your top and perfect your deck. See ya in Parker. I am sure others will update with the cruicial information of who won soon.
