Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

cosplayers freaks or just misunderstood

If you wanna call fat people cosplaying as fanservice characters "art," you go ahead and call them art. And like it or not, fat people cosplaying as fanservice characters are often the first thing people think of when they think of cosplay. When you understand why this is, you will understand cosplay.

Also to wap up the topic a lot more for no real reason: COSPURE DESU YO.

I was joking. I guess the laughing face was too far away from the statement,

I infact was calling irony upon myself for liking cosplayers while not liking furries.

If I offended anyone, I'm sorry.
Oh no, my post wasn't directed toward you. My mistake.

Your joke was over my head, but I see it now. That is a funny joke.

I am working on a Lucario outfit....
last thing i did was a Pokeball....
When i get those pictures from our league leader I will post them under league Phots...
I am not kidding...
I cam as Huge Pokeball!
The frame was made form chicken wire.
BTW if any one has any designs for a full Pokemon costume plz PM me!

For the past two years, I went as Gendo at Anime Central. People loved the costume, obviously...

...on top of that, it kind of helps growing a beard that isn't too thin or too thick, which is a big problem I see with most Gendo costumes....

Anyways, it was fun to do it, but the best part about is when I found others that went as other characters from Evangelion...

(including a Shinji that did very good impressions of the Governator. I decided to call him Irony for the rest of the night).

Pretty much, as soon as you get with a group like that, the photoshoots commence in a matter of 3...2... *first picture is taken already*

My point? Don't knock it till you tried it. Cosplaying at a convention is like drinking at a bar; Don't be surprised if you see it, and don't make a fuss if you do. I'll be honest when I say that many of the people I've seen aren't fit for certain costumes, but I don't bother complaining about it most of the time because I know I'll see a good version of said character right around the corner.

Check the OP website for one of the CUTEST cosplays I've ever seen! One of the Juniors dressed up as Dawn!

That sweet, young lady is a player from my area. That totally surprised me, as usually she is being a tomboy chasing after her 2 older brothers, it was good to see her having fun acting like Dawn.

It depends on the kind of cosplayers for me. Someone dressing up as their favorite character for a con or something, that's cool... provided it's not some creepy old fat guy dressing up as Sailor Moon. And if it looks creepy, then you really have no right to take pictures and put them on the internet. Becuase it will frighten small children.

Congratulations, you are hereby excluded from my statement.

I gotta admit. I lol'd hard.

But in all seriousness, it's like I said before. Get into costume, act surprised when you find people who are cosplaying from the same show, and let the fun begin. I don't know how many pictures were taken of the group that I was with that one night. All I know is that so many were taken to the point where all I could see was a giant white light.

Thankfully, I didn't walk into it.

Okay, here is my thoughts on this.

Cosplay is interesting in many ways. I don't think it is "freaky". However guys dressing up as girls is "freaky" to me. I am not going to go up and tell them that, because that would be rude. However, a lot of people spend lots of time out thier outfits. I have seen some really good ones and some really bad ones. However, I feel that most do it for "attention" because most of the costumes I see the females wearing are just screaming that they are trying to get attention. This maybe my imagination, but most of the time I think it is pretty cool. I am not sure I would do it, but still it is kinda interesting on how well their costumes can be.

At Nats I saw a man cosplaying as a girl pirate. He was wearing a skirt and a purple blouse with a pirate hat...
That was really weird. If you can cosplay right, then its not nearly as lame as it usually is.
I personally think it's really weird/lame, unless it's done right and the person really looks like what they are trying to look like, and its within boundaries, such as no dudes wearing girls clothes...
