Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Create a Set: Mega Man X

These three Pokemon have a special theme. Can anyone figure it out? Every guess must be accompanied by at least one card for the set.

X's Quilava
(R)
70 HP
Weakness: (W)
Resistance: N/A
Retreat Cost: (C)

(R)(R) Fire Wave 20
Choose one of your opponent's Benched Pokemon. This attack does 20 damage to that Pokemon. Apply Weakness and Resistance for the Benched Pokemon.

(R)(R) Flame Line 10
This attack does 10 damage to each of your opponent's Benched Pokemon.

X's Croconaw
(W)
70 HP
Weakness: (G)
Resistance: N/A
Retreat Cost: (C)

(W)(W) Bubble Splash 20X
Flip 3 coins. This attack does 20 damage for each heads. If at least 2 are heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed.

(W)(W) Bubble Shield
Flip a coin until you get tails. For each heads, if an attack damages X's Croconaw during your opponent's next turn, reduce any damage done by that attack by 10.

X's Bayleef
(G)
70 HP
Weakness: (R)
Resistance: (W)
Retreat Cost: (C)

(G)(G) Chameleon Sting 20X
Flip 3 coins. This attack does 20 damage for each heads. Then, for each tails, choose one of your opponent's Benched Pokemon. This attack does 20 damage to each Pokemon chosen in this way.

(G)(G) Fade Out
During your opponent's next turn, if an attack would damage X's Bayleef, choose one of your Benched Pokemon. Any damage from that attack happens to the Benched Pokemon you chose instead of X's Bayleef. Calculate damage as if the Pokemon you chose were the Defending Pokemon. Any other effects of that attack still happen to X's Bayleef. You can't use this attack if you have no Benched Pokemon.

It's been a while since I posted any cards. Time to remedy that. Also, a note to setbuilders. After careful thought, I've decided to reopen slots for Trainers.

Sigma's Absol
(D)
60 HP
Weakness: (F)
Resistance: (P)
Retreat Cost: (C)

Sigma's Chimecho
(P)
80 HP
Weakness: (P)
Resistance: (F)
Retreat Cost: N/A

Poke-Power: Collective Chime
Once during your turn (before you attack), if you have at least one Sigma's Chimecho in play, you may flip a coin for each Sigma's Chimecho in play. For each heads, put one damage counter on each Active Pokemon. Using this Power ends your turn. (You don't get to attack.)

(P)(P) Dissonant Chime 20
Flip a coin for each Defending Pokemon. If heads, that Pokemon is now Confused.

Nightmare Virus
Trainer

Look at your opponent's hand. Choose a Trainer card there that is not put into play. Your opponent must immediately play that Trainer. Ignore this effect if your opponent does not have any Trainers in his or her hand that are not put into play.

Well, that answers my question. Just remember, Armored Armadillo's theme is ARMORED Pokemon, of any type, but especially (F) and (M). Still, he didn't have any off-theme Pokemon at all, so keep them in.

[EDIT] Never mind. I thought this was card #200, but I hadn't listed an installment of Trainers I made.

Armored Armadillo's Shuckle

Weakness: (W)
Resistance: N/A

Once during your turn (before you attack), if Armored Armadillo's Shuckle is your Active Pokemon, you may flip a coin. If heads, prevent all effects of attacks, Trainer cards, and Pokemon Powers done to Armored Armadillo's Shuckle until the end of your opponent's next turn, including damage. Either way, your turn ends immediately. (You don't get to attack.)

(F)(F) Rebound
Until the end of your next turn, if an attack (even your own) damages Armored Armadillo's Shuckle, this attack does 20 damage to the Pokemon that damaged Armored Armadillo's Shuckle. Also, until the end of your next turn, if a Trainer or Pokemon Power damages Armored Armadillo's Shuckle, this attack does 10 damage to the Defending Pokemon. Do not apply Weakness and Resistance for any damage done by this attack.

X Vs. Zero
Trainer card (Supporter) (You may have only one X Vs. Zero in your deck.)

You can't play this card during your first turn, and you cannot play this card if either player has played a card named Defectionists during this game. Declare one side of a coin to be X and the other side to be Zero. Flip that coin. If X, your opponent shuffles all of his or her Pokémon with X in its name and all cards attached to them into his or her deck, and you shuffle all of your Pokémon with Zero in its name and all cards attached to them into your deck. If Zero, your opponent shuffles all of his or her Pokémon with Zero in its name and all cards attached to them into his or her deck, and you shuffle all of your Pokémon with X in its name and all cards attached to them into your deck. Either way, if this would cause a player to lose the game, that player searches their deck for a Basic Pokémon that doesn't have either X or Zero in its name and makes it their Active Pokémon. If that player cannot place a Pokémon, that player loses the game.

Defectionists
Trainer card (Supporter) (You can have only one Defectionists in your deck.)

You can't play this card during your first turn, and you cannot play this card if either player has played a card named X Vs. Zero during this game. Declare one side of a coin to be X, the other side to be Sigma. Flip that coin. If X, place X counters on all of your Pokémon with Zero in its name and place Sigma counters on all of your opponent's Pokémon with Zero in its name. If Sigma, place Sigma counters on all of your Pokémon with Zero in its name and place X counters on all of your opponent's Pokémon with Zero in its name. Any Pokémon with an X counter counts as a Pokémon with both X and Zero in its name whenever referenced in an attack, Poké-BODY, Poké-POWER, Trainer card, or Energy card. Any Pokémon with a Sigma counter counts as a Pokémon with both Sigma and Zero in its name whenever referenced in an attack, Poké-BODY, Poké-POWER, Trainer card, or Energy card.

Spotlight Knock
Trainer card (Supporter) (You can have only one Spotlight Knock in your deck.)

You can only play this card if either player has a Pokémon with Zero in its name in play, and you can't play this card during your first turn. Each player shuffles all Pokémon in play with X in its name and all cards attached to them into their decks. If this would cause a player to lose the game, that player searches their deck for a Basic Pokémon that doesn't have X in its name and makes it their Active Pokémon. If that player cannot place a Pokémon, that player loses the game.

YIPES!!! your right. I forgot about the 10 damage for Bubble. And yes, Chip Enhancer is inspired by X3. Infact, there is a strange pattern with all my cards. They are all based on teh MMX game I PLAYED. I really wanna do something for X5 and X6, but I havent played them. However, I have played Megaman Zero and Megaman Battle Network (really wont do any good for the set though). Infact, that gives me an inspiration:

*Cyber Elf Red
Pokemon Tool
Special PT rule- Attach this card to a Pokemon with Zero in its name that doesn't have a Pokemon Tool attached to it. If that Pokemon is Knocked Out, discard this card.

At any time during your turn or between turns, you may remove 3 damage counters from the Pokemon this card is attached to. Discard this card after removing 3 damage counters.

*Cyber Elf Blue
Pokemon Tool
Special PT rule- Attach this card to a Pokemon with Zero in its name that doesn't have a Pokemon Tool attached to it. If that Pokemon is Knocked Out, discard this card.

When this Pokemon attacks, deal 10 more damage to the Defending Pokemon (after applying Weakness and Resistance). Discard this card after dealing 10 more damage.

*Cyber Elf Green
Pokemon Tool
Special PT rule- Attach this card to a Pokemon with Zero in its name that doesn't have a Pokemon Tool attached to it. If that Pokemon is Knocked Out, discard this card.

Flip 2 coins. If 1 is heads, search your deck for any card with Zero in its name or can used by Zero, show it to your opponent, and put it into your hand. If both are heads, your Active Pokemon recieves 20 less damage (before applying Weakness and Resistance). Discard this card after you did one of the 2 actions.

*The Perfect Copy
Trainer

If your Active Pokemon has X in its name and the Defending Pokemon has Zero in its name, deal 20 more damage (after applying Weakness and Resistance).

Dr. Cain
Trainer- Supporter

Search your deck for a Basic Pokemon or Evolved Pokemon with X or Zero in its name, show it to your opponent, and put it into your hand.

Alright, I edited a few things. Hopefully, you like the idea of X and Zero benefiting from Dr. Cain.

Edited them once again, and I have another card you might like:

Sigma Vaccine
Pokemon Tool
Special PT rule- Attach this card to a Pokemon with Zero in its name. Once you use this card's action, discard it.

If the Defending Pokemon has Sigma in its name, deal 30 more damage (before applying Weakness and Resistance)

This is, yet, another X3 inspiration. Obviously, you know how the ending goes.

Zero's Gift
Technical Machine
Special TM Rule- Attach this card to a Pokemon with X in its name. When your turn is over, discard this card.

(C)(C) Z Slash- Flip 3 coins. This attack does 20 damage plus 10 more for each heads. 20+

Okay, one thing i thought is that pokemon needs more interesting special energies. Heres a few i thought of:

Big Boost energy - This energy can only be played on your active pokemon. When Recharge energy is played it counts as (C)(C)(C). If your active pokemon has Megaman in its name, discard this card and search your deck for four energy cards and attach them to your active pokemon.

Tool energy - When this card is played, treat it as a pokemon tool. When an attack, poke power or trainer card requires you to discard energy cards, discard this card in place of all energy cards. While this card is attached to a pokemon, it counts as a (C) energy.

Multiplying energy - For every pokemon on your bench, this card counts as one type of energy as your choice. For every pokemon on your oppoment's bench, this card adds 1 damage counter to your active pokemon.

Ill add more as i think of them, also, heres 2 pokemon:

X's Kyogre
120 HP Water Type
Weakness: None Resistance: (D) Retreat cost: (W)(W)(W)

Ocean Blast ? (W)(W)(W)(W)(W) When this attack is used, your oppoment searches his/her deck for a pokemon with "groudon" in its name. if there is none, this attack does damage equal to the defending pokemon's remaining HP.
If your oppoment has a pokemon with groudon in its name in his deck, this attack does nothing.

Pkmn Power: Drizzle As long as this pokemon is on your bench or in the active position, all attacks dealt by water type pokemon do an additional 30 damage.

Zero's Groudon
120 HP Fire Type
Weakness: None Resistance: (S) Retreat cost: (R)(R)(R)

Heat wave ? (F)(F)(F)(F)(F) When this attack is used, your oppoment searches his/her deck for a pokemon with "kyogre" in its name. if there is none, this attack does damage equal to the defending pokemon's remaining HP. If your oppoment has a pokmeon with groudon in its name in his/her deck, this attack does nothing.

Pkmn Power: Drought: As long as this pokemon is on the bench or i nthe active position, all attacks dealt by fire type pokekmon do an additional 30 damage.
