Well you're following alot of their rules so why not just copy them completely?I looked it up and found that Sheimei is an event only pokemon, I was confused though because serebii gives a location for it in their Pokedex.

Why are you banning Lugia, Mewtwo,ect. but not Moltres/Lati@s ect.? I'd just like to see your guideline that determined which legendaries were banned. Wobb is another odd one that you banned and is easily played around. It takes alot of guessing for the person playing wobb as alot of the moves have been swapped from physical to special(and vice-versa), and not to mention something like toxic could stop it.
 
New pokemon ban list posted, along with roster update

Moltres, the way im banning pokemon is UBER status. If their base stats are over 600 they are banned.
Wobbo/wynaut are there for the stall out draw.

Sleep Clause = only one pokemon on each palyer's team can be put to sleep during a 2 on 2 battle.
Freeze Clause = Only one pokemon on each player's team can become Frozen during a 2 on 2 battle.
Perrish Song/Destiny Bond Cluase = the last pokemon on either player's team cannot use Destiny Bond or Perrish Song.

@ DukeFireBird: I'd suggest that you also have the Self Destruct/Explosion Clause as well. You know, when the last pokemon cannot use Explosion/Self Destruct.

Moltres - Defenses are horrible. It won't last a round in Uber matches, so why ban it?
Lati@s - They're allowed as long as they're not using Soul Dew.
Wobby - Uber staller. Seriously, with decent prediction, you gg n00b people. And to stop Wobby, you don't play Toxic. Wobby uses Safeguard.

He's banning those Legendaries because of their uber-status (like he already said). They have incredibly broken stats and almost zip bad side.

I thought Wobb was banned for the Wobb w/ Leftovers vs. Wobb w/ leftovers, where the game ends because neither is able to KO the other or switch out.

He's no where near as good a staller as something like Blissey.

Whoops, my bad. I'm so usedd to doing double battles around here. Also, I completely forgot about the "Self Inflect KO on last pokemon" rule when I was typing my last post. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused. :frown:
 
i might atttend, idk. I might be too busy practice for the TCG.

Question is it 1v1 or 2v2? maybe i missed it. I know it's 6v6, but as far a battling goes.

This is gonna be the best video game tournament, considering there's no JAA this year.
 
My son is 10 and wants to play in the tournament. He has not decided on his pokemon yet. He is waiting to get his Diamond and Pearl. We will let you know before July 1st.

He made it to the top 8 in last year's video game tournament in Mass. He lost to the boy who won the whole thing. They each had one pokemon and one move left.

ds is working on his diamond - He'll probably beat it either today or tomorrow. He said it is such a COOL game!!! All the new Pokemon, and learning their names etc. Fun times ahead!

I beated both Diamond and Pearl, but the really hard part is deciding what to raise to lv.100 and put on my team for this tournament. Good thing we all have a couple months.
