Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

European CUP global info, announcement.

But what I don't like is that they lower the K-value now after the announcement has been out. I don't know who's responsible and if TPCi gave their word on K-32 first (I think so since our LD announced the tournament as well), but changing it now is a little late imo.
Seriously, TPCi ? =/

We chose to make a travel from France mainly for the K-32 rating, and now our flights are reserved...

If having high K-values at the beginning of season is a problem, it's only because the Elo-rating system isn't adapted to Pokémon. In a game with a huge luck factor, high-rated players shouldn't be so much penalized for losing a game. So high-rated players would still come to the tournaments even if they have a good ranking.

Well, anyway I hope there will still be a lot of players.

See you all tomorrow !

im at the hotel duo lobby right now. just relaxing on the internet after the long drive from munich germany
i imagine alot of players will be at the lobby tomorrow (friday) night!

I'm on the way to Prague now. Is the lobby big enough to hold lots of players? Are there tables?

most definitely!

this hotel is very nice and there is plenty of space in the lobby. the breakfast is very solid. the only problem....apparently theres some sort of "czech republic vs scotland game going on tonight so it might get super rowdy!" (some dressed up scottish guy in the elevator)

I'll look forward to beat you all tomorrow & the day after.

(Good luck)

We are starting round 3 now. We will have a total of 7 rounds in masters with top16, 6 rounds in seniors with top8 and 4 rounds in juniors with top2.

Hello !

Top16 should be starting soon. They are organizing the last few things, like... putting in place the GIANT SCREEN for live Top Cut matches !
I'll be doing a Live Coverage Report : each round, I will choose a Top Cut match and cover it. First featured match will be Fabrizio C from Italia, the only 7-0 player, against Michael P from Germany.

Please visit http://www.pokeworld.cz/forum/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=926 to get Live Updates !

Update : Yeah ! I've been able to interview both players about their decks and what they thought of the match-up !
If you have any question or suggestion about this coverage, let me know !

Sorry about the delay with the updates, I've been quite busy with games running to time !
Anyway, the top16 match between Fabrizio and Micheal is up, alongside the top8 match between Michal B from Czech Republic and Tobias T from Germany !

I don't have access to all informations unfortunately Luca, but the organizer will surely write a report with all the names.

Players are in lunch break now, top4 is starting at 2:30 !

Edit : I'll be covering the semi fianls between Filipp Lausch from Austria and Marc Lutz from Germany. You already know them by the names Darkmot and Volt !
