I would agree with that, but if the Ludicolo player is playing Battle Frontier, the pidgeot on the blaziken's side will be useless and the Ludicolo player will have a much better chance of winning the match.

who says blaze will be playing pidgeot? when bf comes, ill be playing blaze/mag/loads of bf XD

Any card that potentially changes ALLLLLLLL the major archetypes is just stupid.

Why? YOu make a comment like this, but you do not give any real reason why. Perhaps, right before the Major tournament season starts a new scramble to create new archetypes given the new cardsd is a good thing. When the decks change, it keeps the game from getting stale.

There will always be cards which completely change the metagame...ATM Rock anyone?

Clay M

IMO, it's the improper way of making balance changes. Instead of introducing new, creative combos with cards like they obviously made for salamence, rocklock/dragtrode(look at the TRR theme decks ffs, the theme decks are the first dragtrode and rocklock..), etc.

Not to mention it will hurt the crap out of people who RAN the archetypes. "Sorry kids, you just made your decks and made them all nice and specific to your style, but now, right before regionals/GC and world's, we're going to introduce a card that will make your decks null, either that, or force you to run MANY counter gyms just to keep up. Sorry for the inconvenience, try to TRADE and make a new deck in time, playtest it and tweak it to your needs before any major tournament. Don't mind that once Frontier comes out, the trade value for cards like TTars, amphys, and pidgeots will all decrease, and thus make it harder to trade for new cards, it's all okay. Simply buy more boosters!"

I never said I don't like rogue decks. But the way to balance a game isn't to release a card that makes it flip over(putting the best on the bottom and the worst/weirdest up top) right over the most major part of the season. Instead of doing that and reversing the stupid moves they made in the first place (dragtrode and rocklock=two best decks in the format right now, and they're virtually the same as the TRR theme decks, what a coincidence. if nintendo didn't realize the combos they had LAID out in TRR, then they are extremely dull).

I'm just angry because it took months for my friend and I to make our decks(sally, rocklock, and dragtrode) and now it is right before regionals, and trading off those cards will be very hard to do. Who will want to trade for a card that was just recently nerfed to hell? Not many. And even if they do, it will be worth less to trade, so you won't be able to trade off as many cards. Not to mention there will be a flood of the cards. Everyone will take apart their dragtrodes and rocklocks, and there will be an ample amount of the cards that were in it, further decreasing the trade values of cards like delcatty, pidgeot, dark TTar, dark amphy, dark electrode, etc.

It's silly to nerf the most powerful DECKS, and the most powerful TYPES in the format.(dark and metal, simply because the energy they use increases their power) and colorless pokemon(the most used/numerous of all types)

LudiCargo will be good, yes it beats Blaze and Vileplume, two threats that you people think will work.

First off Ludicolo has about a 25% chance off beating Blaziken if lucky. But Viluplume how do you figure.
Vileplume combo with BF is pretty broken the can't play any of there 4 countergyms or there ATM Rocks or Ices so Vile is pretty fool prof it will be able to almost beat anthing but possible Gardy. (If Gardy is played or makes it to the finals to play VEX)

Man I love it when this happens-a new card is announced and even before it comes out people are running around screaming. One of the constants in this game is change, and it won't always be convenient. That's just how things are.

By the way, the reason that you would play this card in a Pidgeot-sometimes it will hurt your opponent more than it hurts you.

True I withdraw may Blaziken Vs Ludicolo statement but Vileplume I say Ludicolo is pretty uselss against

Magcargo doesn't in any way replace Pidgeot well. It doesn't equal the use of switching rayquaza/blaziken ex to the bench, send up pidgeot, retreat for free, send up rayquaza/blaziken ex and attack again. Also, it doesn't give you the card you need unless you draw into it the same turn. At the same time, it's attacks cost one more, and does not lock the opponent up front like Pidgeot. Magcargo might be the good choice to replace Pidgeot at first glance, but Blaziken won't do half aswell with it instead of Pidgeot.

But that's just my opinion.

Ludicargo might beat Blaziken because Ludicolo could effectively OHKO everything in the deck other than Pidgeot, which is useless now. The deck has more consistancy than Blaziken, and could counter a gym every turn, something Blaziken can not. But Blaziken's damage is not based on the defending pokemon's bench, and it can deal alot more damage anyways and to anything. Blaziken and Rayquaza EX OHKO everything in the deck too.

Great. I'm going to be forced to change my deck to Ludicargo. I was planning to anyways. I'm currently playing Ludicolo/Pidgeot. Don't ask.

My complaints have been answered! It was my fault, I did all of this and told them to come out with this card.

Now I remember why I was playing 24 energy. I was waiting for this stadium to come along so I could play it. And with two more stadiums(Ancient Tomb), for a total of 6, it will be impossible for opponent's to be able to try to out trump me with other stadiums.

I was worried because if the rotation(don't bash me for this) was HL-on, so many decks would still rule. Even if it was FRLG-on, it would still be bad. But this stadium will be big. Once the rotation happens, we will have few current decks. But I'll bet some new combos will come from Emerald, that get around this stadium as well.

P.S. Gardy will be out with the rotation. Battle Fronteir won't.

GG. Jared. BTW; a good vile player can beat a Ludicargo; but I dunno I play everything.

It looks like Ludicargo or Vilex will win worlds.

GG dark/metal/colorless.

We still haven't seen what cards/combos the next set has to offer, so I wouldn't go handing the crown to Vileplume EX or a Ludicolo variant.

And I think there are some cards that haven't seen much play that may start cropping up.

You can't and you shouldn't jump to that kind of conclusion. It will bite you right back in the butt.

And the new Blaziken is much better than the Ruby&Sapphire one. I hope he will come in the

Like I care about your opinion
Not an opinion, it's fact. Fact based on past behaviour and the logic of the world you and I live in.

"Opinion: A personal belief or judgment that is not founded on proof or certainty"
My judgement was based on proof, so therefore, it is more than an opinion.

And can you at least stick to the subject of the matter, the original matter at hand was what will win at worlds. Not how my "opinion" doesn't matter.
