Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Is Garchomp going to be BIG?

The only realistic thing you are going to see to beat down Chomp is the Latilock. Sure, you can revive and get around it. Let me tell you how that will work.

You revive Chomp while I have out the Latilock, that means you only have one pokemon who can hit me for decent damage. That means any decent player is going to pull out all the stops to rip you apart the second you hit the field/become active (since not all decks hit the bench). It also meand I am not going to be overwhelmingly happy with that Lv X either, so if I can't hit the bench Chomp, I will take my annoyance out on that Lv X.

Wait til the lock is gone, then Chomp is going to get interesting.
What say I restore TWO pokemon?  Still, I't will be better next season, even though I lose my ex's.

What say you lose two attacks and give me two free turns? By all means go right ahead.
Once you give up two of your turns to finally be able to do what your deck was meant to do, then yes, you can FINALLY be able to do decent damage. Do I need to explain what a good deck will do to you in those two turns?

Sonic Blade, Psychic Lock with a Lv X Garde, and they still have plenty of prizes left to kill you with.
You have two Chomp? Blade the first one, Kill the second, then kill the first again.

Eevee decks... drop Umbreon and there goes your deck.

Empoleon Dual Splash the active and the Chomp you just revived. You revive another one, nail the second one and another Pokemon. At this point, Empoleon can one shot you, whilst you are unable to return the favor without two PP or two heads on the Lv X (or a combonation of the two).

The fact that you need a Stage Three and to lose a turn in order to get an attacker out means it will be quite obvious when you are going to bring something "to life", so to speak.

Garchomp is far to easy for any major deck seen right now to shut down, as a result it is not an intelegent play in a skilled area.
Sorry to burst your bubble.

I don't only use Chomp. Yes chomp is not unbeatable(Nothing is) and lati-lock probably has an easy time against it, I'm just saying how I'd counter the problems.

chom/vlaydol/togekiss is very good at this moment no so much bot next season yes no bosst, scramble, cessation,DRE,crystal shard it would be graet next season

chomp is really, good, it's just too easy to tech against, not that many people need to tech against it, i don't i don't know anyone that does, but it's also a little slow, it's fast with the right build but you have to keep them coming, in a very well timed manner, if you want any chance of beating the top decks
