Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

IV Bragging/Inquiry Thread

I think you have to much time.
In all honesty, no. Most hatching can be done with one hand, just pushing up and down while on the bike, while not even looking at it, occasionally pushing B for the egg hatching.

*looks to the ~ 600 Pokemon released*

... Yeah. Ignore their effect on the ecosystem.

@Megavelocibot: wow... those are some great Lileeps you have there... at this rate, you're soon gonna get the one you want ;)

@Lucario Ex: That Vulpix looks good... its main stats are perfect but you could use some more HP...

I just calculated my Shining Marowak, and his defense is higher than the calculator will recognize o_O;; his IVs:

18, 22, 28, 29, 29, 5

252 EVs in speed
252 EVs in Special defense

Actual stats are:

HP 243
ATK 187
DEF 259
SP ATK 134
SP DEF 231
Speed 179

Had to edit the defense to 250 as that was as high as the calculator went and it kept coming back as invalid.

Finished both my Lileep project, and recently a Shellder project of mine that I had worked on for about 12 days:

Trick Room Sassy Lileep (Recover, Barrier, Amnesia, Toxic) Project
Best:
M Sassy Lileep: 31 / 30 / 31 / 31 / 31 / 3 (HP Dragon 70)

Kept for Hidden Powers:
M Modest #345 Lileep: 29 / 3 / 31 / 31 / 31 / 25 (HP Dark 64)
M Mild #345 Lileep: 31 / 30 / 14 / 31 / 31 / 2 (HP Electric 70)
M Sassy #345 Lileep: 26 / 31 / 31 / 31 / 30 / 4 - 5 (HP Bug or Steel 64)
M Adamant Lileep: 31 / 31 / 31 / 15 / 31 / 0 (HP Ice 64)
M Sassy Lileep: 31 / 31 / 28 / 18 / 31 / 10 (HP Fire 67)

Trick Room Relaxed Shellder (Rapid Spin, Screech, Icicle Spear, Barrier) Project
Final Results:

Main Results:
F Impish #90 Shellder (SL): 31 / 31 / 31 / 31 / 28 / 17 (Steel 44)
- Someone recommended I "distribute the Impish one (for trade), 'cause it's really good. It'd be the first full-physical Cloyster on *Six-Lettered Site* that can use Boom, Avalanche and Ice Shard." Since I'm pretty darn sure he knows what he's doing, I'll trust him on that.

F Relaxed #90 Shellder (SA): 31 / 31 / 31 / 31 / 20 / 20 (Bug 44)
- Another Pokemon someone recommended I keep. He said this was the best of the Relaxed.

Hidden Power users:
M Relaxed #90 Shellder (SA): 29 / 18 / 31 / 30 / 31 / 31 (Grass 69)
- Best HP Grass one I got. Had others, and an HP Electric 70, but their Sp.Atk.s were subpar.

Breeding Fodder:
M Relaxed #90 Shellder (SA): 31 / 12 / 31 / 31 / 31 / 31 (Dragon 68)
F Relaxed #90 Shellder (SL): 31 / 31 / 31 / 31 / 17 / 31 (Dark 49)
M Relaxed #90 Shellder (SA): 31 / 31 / 0 / 31 / 31 / 31 (Dragon 67)
- Yay, quinties.

Did you put in the correct nature, and use -Def Berries to be sure it was correct?

Somewhat stubborn yields 29 as the max IV. Going by Metalkid's very accurate IV Calculator, your Naive, somewhat stubborn data, and the stats given, I get:
Naïve #105 Marowak: 13 / 22 / Invalid / 29 / 29 / 5
Reducing Defense to 254 (the highest possible to have "somewhat stubborn" as its characteristic, by having a 29 IV, and characteristic IS randomly chosen if two or more are the highest IV) yields:
Naïve #105 Marowak: 13 / 22 / 29 / 29 / 29 / 5
Accounting for your EVs stated. Could you please save, reduce all EVs to 0 with berries, and give me those stats, even if you don't think reducing those EVs in that stat with a berry will do anything? Don't save, of course, after doing this. I just want to have a 100% positive baseline.

EDIT: I just noticed that you wrote 13 as 18. Is it possible that you wrote 254 as 259 and just misread the number?

Mmm, I doubt it. The DS I can read fine. Though in the light I'm reading the 3 in is very poor. Used 3 of the berry required, and indeed his stats went down.

243
187
253
134
231
179

Then, it seems your IVs are a respectable 13 / 22 / 28 / 29 / 29 / 5. Its Hidden Power type is an awesome Ice, but sadly a miniscule 31 base power.

Well, their IVs are definetly reputable, but I'm afraid I have no clue what nature is best for them or even what hidden power is best.

If you haven't transfered it to D/P (which I believe you have), and it isn't level 100 (which i believe it is), and you have Emerald, you can always Move Tutor it Fire Punch for a load of BP. Try Sword Dance, EQ, Fire Punch, and Double Edge / Stone Edge with max Attack.

Heres a Larvitar I got from my Emerald 1 week ago. Its an T-tar now.

Female Adamant : HP-30 /ATK- 31 /DEF- 31 /SATK- 26 /SDEF- 31 /SPD-30

Though I would post this.

No, I didn't transfer him from Emerald :( I traded for him on diamond from someone on this site...forget his username at the moment. Cool vaporeon! Those stats are droolage.
