Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Jason, Alex, and Jimmy watch

Jason - got #5 yesterday.
Jimmy - did not make it to the tourney again.
Alex - well, ummmm, yea, ummmm, what do I say? Sorry man. At least you've got Jason's main event.

It was Boom again. He's got his list to where is a favorite against Rai Eggs. I wanted a shot at him to boost my ratings but lost in the top 4. Alex, Where were you? Everyone had like 7 shards in there decks for NO reason. LOL

Alex - did not make top cut (we'll just say that Crystal Shard got the better of him, all day long)
Deck: SallyGross

youre talking about the card right.

I think Seena G should be included in this intriguing post as well. He's only been to 2 CC's, and they haven't been large, but he's won BOTH of them. I've always been a huge fan of Seena G because of his kindness irl and pokemon excellence, and he is 2/2 this year (100%, Jason can't say that!).

It appears everyone has forgotten the ex-champion due to a poor '06 worlds performance. As if he FORGOT to play pokemon that weekend? No, I believe it was bad luck and matchups, and Seena claims he played better at Worlds than he did at Nats (3rd place!).

Give the man his well deserved recognition! He has won 2 STS medals, 2 National championship medals, 2 REGIONAL championship medals, AND 2 CC medals!

This could literally be done with any good players. I chose these because - their history, the way they finished (carbon copy of Worlds) in the first CC they all played in this year, they are from my area, and because I have personal contact info on them. It is harder to keep up to date on these than I thought it would be. I wish Jimmy was able to make it to more tourneys to make this more complete, but I didn't know that when I started this. Seena definitely is skilled enough, but like I said it is hard to keep up to date with this.

Poor Seena Lost to a Sunflora deck Last year.... I dont know if he is included in this topic . It was more than one bad showing last season <grins>

I spoke to Seena about that. He attributed it to poor play, poor luck, and a spiritual crisis prior to the GC.

To quote him from AIM

"It was the low point of my career, losing to someone with 1/4th my intelligence for my 4th consecutive loss."

I can't recall any other horrendous performances though. He assures me that his Worlds performance was one of his best during the year but that luck hindered his ability to succeed. Not to mention, he has more hardware than LOWES! He missed 3 GC cuts out of 5, but twice was 4-2. some people WON GC's with a 4-2 swiss record, thus that came down to resistance. If Seena isn't worthy of being mentioned in the same breath as the best players in the game, then I'm going to have to pull out the RACE CARD!

Again, as to why I'm so defensive of Seena his kindless irl, his pokemon excellence, and even his kindness online. You guys should talk to this guy and realize how pure his heart is. I recall a few years ago when I was battling a drug problem he mailed flowers, chocolates, and poems to my house as to encourage me. His kindness brought me to tears, and I've been clean ever since :)

LONG LIVE SEENA!

I'm SURE the flowers, chocolates, and Poems are now in his LUNGS!!!

Funny stuff Seena,
jimmy

Ridiculous that you guys accuse me of being Seena just because I'm complimenting him.

If you don't wanna include him on this thread fine don't, but don't accuse me of being him just so I can get banned JUST because I was complimenting him. and if complimenting him is against the rules then I'll discontinue that as well.

"I can't take this anymore"... can't take WHAT? Man up.

Yeah and comparing himself like that to another player is very kind. Not to mention he kind of bashed the other player. I know very little about Seena so I could careless. I've heard some not so positive things aobut him though. Until I meet the guy in person then I'll be able to see for myself what kind of person he is and all that jazz.

Rulemaster IS Seena! LOL!

Seena did great in the past and i think he is a great player.
He did well also in USA national 2006 (not as Martin or Pooka)

A day of bad luck at national could happen to anyone.
