If LostGar can win a 30 minute single game swiss, why can't it win twice in 60 minutes matchplay?

[I need to play more... or even at all :( ]

30 plus three gives it more time, and in 60 minutes, they will probably have to play three games, the third being past time.

"Warp Point/ Pokemon Reversal to bench the Dialga G,"

"I wouldn't want to. I like the all basic Energy since it maximizes the chances of having the one I need when I need it."

WOWWWWW epic fail series of posts.
Deafen locks trainers..

If ANY Haunter is going to solve the Deafen problem, it's Sleep Posion Haunter on a Tails flip from your opponent.

Still, no reason not to run the best of all, Mime Jr.

If a dialgachomp or luxchomp with dialga tech starts deafening... say... turn 1 or 2, how could a lostgar win? All the sp deck has to do is wait until after time +3 to take the one prize. If you think the accumulation of cursed drops can save a vilegar deck, you are wrong. a belted dialga x has 140 hp. thats 4 turns of cursed drops. healing breath or even a tech alakazam x solves that problem easily.

I would just like to hear a VIABLE plan for lostgar that could be followed in a situation like this

how about attack a benched pixie with cursed drops or even attack with the palkia g? you'll need more than 1 prize. that would force you to do something other than repeated deafens.

By turn 1 or 2 an sp player is going to know that he/she is playing against lostgar. Its not like sp would rely on set up/time walk/trade off to get off an early deafen. All you need is a cyrus and a start without any non sp in play. Even if you are unfortunate enough to start with an uxie or whatever, it seems to me that lostgar kinda relies on seeker against sp. (Don't forget psychic restore if it is an uxie that you are forced to start with).

The strategy does seem amateurish (I'm not sure if that's a word by the way), but it is extremely easy to execute - and I don't see lostgar's solution.

I've been messing with it and have not decided if mew is good or bad
on one hand it gives me a nice option to start with but is ko'd easy. I like the palkia in it but still haven't done much w/ it.
Yesterday i did do some MINOR testing against a magnezone.
I went 50-50 in 4 games against it.

Not if they lock you on time with a two or three prize lead...

It's not like they need to bother with a deafen lock for game until after they've had a chance to KO a couple Gengars.

Seeker shenanigans are a huge pain though.
