Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Mewtwo Uncut Full Art Sheet..the rest of the story.

I still wish I understood the rules better:(

They're pretty clear cut and can be found here, which is in the very top stickied section of the Collecting and Card Price Discussion forum, just like they are for every other forum on this site.

This forum is for inquiring about prices for Pokemon cards and Pokemon related items ONLY.
This forum is not for trading or selling. We have other forums for that.
Do not offer to buy, sell, or trade the items being discussed in this forum.

If a member wishes to do those things, they can make use of the forums that we have set up to do that, as long as they meet the requirements to use those forums.
Violations of this well receive infractions.

We have had a lot of threads asking "Where can I Buy cheap cards" Which has nothing to do with what this forum is for. Please keep it to Price guide discussion only.

Please no eBay links to "live" auctions

It's a board rule but we haven't had to enforce it much lately until now.
A lot of the topics in this forum are not clear.
Let the people who are looking through the forum know ahead of time what your topic is about so they can decide if they want to read it or not.
Also, multiple topics with the same title are worse than uninformative, they're confusing.
We'll be locking topics that aren't clear.
Please use a descriptive title.
Thanks you.

Not sure why this is controversial to some oeople. i guess theres a lot of jealousy around or as you kids say today...Haters lol.

Because your original post had nothing to do about anything. All you did was pop up and talk about your prized possession you found in a dumpster and asked people what they thought.

It's a cool item. Not $9,000 cool.

Maybe if you didn't show up like some noob showing off strutting you wouldn't be in is position.

Where this interests me is how this has been the "only" set of sheets that have surfaced through this method. Was it simply a one-time thing with them poorly discarding the sheets? The sheet is very cool of a piece but I'd be curious to know the story behind it. As a test sheet, why would they need to print the 150 of them? I may have to hire someone to dumpster dive around their building as it would be cheaper than buying a sheet =P

It definitely is interesting! It always makes me wonder how this even happens. This includes one portion of a sheet that I own myself. For some unknown reason french base set sheets ended up in a fabric store in Afghanistan many years ago. The seller there cut the sheets up into even squares to package individual pieces of fabric neatly. When my aunt and uncle came back to Canada, they were happy to give me that sheet as they knew I was into Pokemon at that time. I definitely thought it was cool but it was only later when I started to wonder how on earth something like that even ended up there. I was young so the first thing that came into my mind was child labor.

But yeah, definitely a cool looking sheet you have there. If the damaged ones were selling for $30 then I sure feel bad about missing out. But then again, I don't even know where to look for this kind of stuff. The ones on eBay are too pricey for me and if they arn't, then shipping always kills the deal. :frown:

That is a really cool story.

"Please no eBay links to "live" auctions"

Technically speaking it isn't an auction...

We're not real big on people getting around the guidelines on technicalities.
That's why they are guidelines.
If you know you are doing something to squeak past a rule, then you're probably breaking that rule.

The way to not get infracted for selling in this forum is simple... stop talking about selling.
Talk about value.
Talk about rarity.
Stop saying things like "I'd be willing to sell it for $X" or "I'd buy it for $X".
Those sound like offers.

Rather, "I'd put it's value at $X" would be fine.

um, read the OP again, he talks about linking to his auction...

I also said I didn't want to put a link cause I didn't want to break any rules:) so obviously I was not trying to be complicit. I was trying to follow the rules.

Then pokemom writes, "would you rather have a heads-up that something isn't allowed before you do it, or just get hit with an infraction?"

I would have appreciated it had you really done that for me but instead you banned me as a punishment. The rules should be applied equally.

Keep in mind many of us "older folks" aren't as up on Imternet protocol though were trying to learn.

This item has never sold before so I WAS trying to get opinions on value. The only reason I mentioned the listing was because I didn't know how to put pictures on here and I had several pictures on the listing.

But because of my lack of knowledge with protocol I got criticized, belittled and banned for 24 hours.

Like Steve Martin used to say, "excuuuuuuuuuse ME" lol. Ill try harder from now on and if I offended any users here I apologize.

Now...where do you all think the value of this sheet lies. I think I figured out the gallery now and put some close ups. It is a full 121 card test sheet and mint. I had 5 of them though I just traded 2 of them to crazy pokemon for an ssb card so now I have three which I know can affect value which is why I'm saying this.
I hope my comments above are within pokegym rules otherwise please, gently correct me:)

OH no she didn't.

Oh, sorry PokeMom. But somebody here banned me for it. Believe me, I'm not intentionally breaking rules and will continue to try hard not to;)

How much is the SSB card worth? Take that and divide that by 2 and thats how much the sheet must be worth. But of course... Crazypokemon is crazy so it might be even a bit less

I see pikapower. That's some indication of value but like you said, he's crazypokemon lol.

Many members here are into sheets and well informed so I'm hoping to get a general feel on what every one here thinks.
I've seen other sheet threads here but they mention only much older sheets like from base set or others sheets that were mass produced. This sheet is from a new series and mint.

How much is the SSB card worth? Are the sheets crazypokemon got ruined or does he have some in okay condition?

His sheets were all cross cut damaged so worthless to most of us. They looked like the vinyl signs in front of the gas stations with slits in them for the wind to pass through;)

Oh. Okay. How much is the SSB card worth?

1999 Super Secret Battle
" No. 1 $3,000 - $4,000
" No. 2 $2,500 - $3,000
" No. 3 $2,000 - $2,500

Found these as the average posts.

So what? The sheet is worth $1000 to $2000? And figuring Crazypokemon is indeed quite crazy then $500-$1500.

This is ridiculous. No one knows what it is worth. These comparisons to other cards and made up values are asinine.

I don't get this thread.

The OP stated how plenty of these sheets are out there. Regardless of condition, simply knowing that some are out there tells how rare or unrare these are. Value is always tied to rarity and condition so if these are out there by the hundreds but only a hand full in good condition so Ill guess they are at least in the $100 - $200 range.

P.S, I'd hate to be the first one to purchase this sheet if the OP sells it. I'd imagine soon after one sells a couple will hit the market.
