Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Mewtwo Uncut Full Art Sheet..the rest of the story.

He traded 2 of these sheets for one of the SSB cards. So therefore that must be what they're worth to Gary.

If he did that was a brilliant move.

The point about numbers is that the SSB cards themselves are not set. Prices change rapidly in general. The higher end items sell for more now than they did a year ago. Even cards like 1st edition charizards sell for more than a year ago, and that is a more consistent item.

The bottom line is that there is not set value to this sheet. That is why you can add as many zero's to the item because there are no sales history to produce an average.

Good points...the only thing we know for sure about these sheets is there are only 5 undamaged copies accounted for. Crazypokemon now has 2 (along with a bunch of sliced up ones) and as I've learned he will never give them up. Then I have three which I. Trying to get an idea on value...after taking everything into account. That's why I listed the sheet so high...cause I didn't know what to charge. Recently someone listed a base box for sale but didn't know what it was worth and ended up selling it for 100.00 instead of 500.00. I didn't want that to happen to me so I listed it high while I was trying to find out a more accurate price.

Which is understandable. I would personally do the same thing, test the waters if you will. Anything that has not been sold should not be undervalued. Of course the opposite problem is overvaluing it.

I figured it would only be a matter of time before crazy got a copy.

Crazys a character alright. He offered to trade all 150 cut up sheets for the two sheets lol but I had no idea what to do with them. He finally offered the card and we negotiated 2 sheets for it.

I have another tremendous offer for a sheet but I don't want to jinx it by talking about it;)

Congrats on the SSB deal Gary!!! In my (possibly biased) opinion you did fantastic there, haha. Take care of the #2 SSB :)

Thanks my Friend:)

Actually, I feel a little bad about it. He's a good kid who works really hard to maintain his collection and actually does a terrific job. I don't think ill be able to get used to having that card. I'm trying to think of a way to help him out but it is a lot of money.

Wait. You just confused me with that. Not long ago, you were saying quite the opposite.

It means you can list something for whatever you want. It does not necessarily mean it will sell for that price.

In fact, the cards you are referencing had the same result. They were listed in 2011 at 3-4 times what they ultimately sold for. It is just a general statement about how you can list an item that does not have a sales history.

So were the two sheets worth less than the card? $500 are the worth of each sheet then?
