Common on guys. If UT is holding a Regionals, they'd better get lots of help from the local professors. Tymon is coming from GA. I'm coming from CO. I'll be pretty pee-ed if a majority of the judging/organizer staff turns out to be non-local.

Tymon, Andrea. Please email/PM me a list of planned staff. If lots of the UT Profs are opting out in order to play...well... :frown:

Your son will have 2 compete with 2 major decks from Nevada's 11-14 players. The Ice Capades and the U Can't See Me Deck. their combined record is 30-2. (the only losses were 2 other ice capade and U Can't See Me Decks. These decks can't be found on Pokegym. :cool:

Cool. I can wait to see these decks in action outside their local area. Plus, who knows how Emerald will impact the meta. Should be fun.

Regardless, our best CO players will be going, so it will be competitive.

Hmm new decks to test against, I believe I have heard of these decks and know their strategy. In any case I hope to find the best deck myself which will guide me or my comrades to a swift victory.

Heh, it's gonna be a whole new game with Battle Frontier around and we've got just a few weeks to master it. I'm very interested to see what you CO guys come up with.
 
cool. ID used to have some top players (a top 16 Worlds 2002 10-under player and an SBZ 2001 15+ top 8 player).

I can garrantee you that the CO players will play EVERY top deck possible. AND, we'll definately be using all possible decent cards from Emerald.

BTW, the top 2 modified players in the US (as of today) are from CO. We've currently got 6 players in the top 100 global ranks. All 6 will most likely be going to regionals.

I can't wait till reginals only about a mounth till the tournement and I am still trying to fine tune my deck I will have to ask Josh and Steve for help.
 
A quick reminder

So you all know, the POP clothing (hat,lab coat, shirt, etc) will be only allowed for the judging staff to wear at this event. If you are not on the judging staff and wearing such items, you will be asked to change.

No, as a matter of fact, this will not be the case. This issue has been addressed previously by both myself and Dave.

A statement such as the one you made is akin to saying "The judges at this event will all be wearing red shirts. If wear a red shirt at the event, you will be asked to to change."
