This will be my final post on this threat because I dont want to talk any more trash until the tournament is over. So I'm just going to say that "will the best man win." So Good Luck to all of u that r coming to this state champion. :thumb:

Dunno, who cares. Anyway, you bet SoCal will be there. None of you will even know my team...oh wait. i'm 6' 3'', my friend is 6'2'' and my other friend is 250+ pounds. *sigh* But we will still win, mwahahaha.

If Cali loses the tourney I think we will all punish ourselves. *Especially if Nevada or Oregon wins*

Go this post, I totally concur. Remember until the tournament is over. I think which ever state wins is going to have alot of fun on here. Good luck to you man. :thumb:
 
Nevada in 2008, cause thats when I'm moving there ;x.

Also, consider Illinois one of the top states, probably 3rd. Team Chicago is very consistant at tournaments, and then of course there's Jason and I :). Ohio is #1 for sure though. The Fulop/Drew/Tom/YJ Combo (and whoever else I left out) is sick.

That would be completely stupid to be moved up that far. I'll talk with all the Nevadan judges at the next pre-release. PTE still has 11, so are you sure your info is correct?

I can vouch for the time change, I work for PT & E and was informed of the time change also.

Martin I'm just giving the facts about ranking. It's also not my problem if your deaf and haven't heard about us Nevada players. 8 man tourneys? Compared to 60? listen I'm not going to go into a war wih you.

I officially make a challenge: If the 15+ up age group in Nevada falls to California, you can terrorize us, tell us were scrubs, and I promise we'll take it on the chin and say yep the Cali. players are better than us.
If the 15+ trophy stays in Nevada though, California has to give us the respect we deserve and no longer look down on us as weakling underdogs. And you guys have to let us gloat because there will be gloating, alot of it.

I should probably stay out of this, but...

If you won the 11-14 group then that means you had a first round bye in the tournament, which only went 5 rounds of swiss. So, you played 4 games to make it into the top 4 in the 11-14 group. Since there was only a top 4, not top 8, there were very few 11-14 year-olds. Plus, 2 of those swiss games were against Nevada players, 1 was against Paul Andrade, who beat you.
Now, to the point of contention....
When you say you took down the California scrubs, are you talking about the one 11 year-old girl who made it into the finals to play against you?? Its funny because SHE didn't have a first round bye, SHE made it into the top 4 with a record of 4 and 1, and SHE was playing with a 103 degree fever and strep throat, something that as her mom I was not aware of until after the tournament.
So, please be a little more careful and a little more specific when you're throwing around insults. Ashley is not a scrub! :mad:

Never mind Ms. Weile. No disrespect to you or your daughter (probably politest person there). I do wish you had just PM'd me if you had found something wrong with my post. I would have gladly edited it. You can handle the rest now DStar. I'm tired of this.
 
Oh my God, Stripes, I mean, this went from a friendly feud, to you bashing 12 year old females. What is WITH that? That is not only disrespectful and uncalled for, but is completely out of spirit of the game guidelines. I mean, not only are you a bad player, but you also pick on people who cannot defend themselfs? Cali is taking you down in the tourney.

For all that like to "trash talk", I`m about sick of it. If you can`t post without dissing someone, then don`t post at all.

I banned two people yesterday and looks like the trend will continue.

Exit any negative talk NOW. No need to apologize to me or post anything that does not relate to this tournament. If I see one post on here that is off topic in any way or bashes someone in any way, they will earn themselves an immediate ban, period.

Now, back to the Nevada State Championships.

There's actually a 10% chance I might show up for this. My parents are taking a vacation in March to Vegas to visit with family. I'll see if I can make it the week of states.

Believe me when I say Dragonstar and myself have NO intention of what may have been implied in your post. We'll be sure to keep everyone up to date. If you believe that we are being in any way decietful in our knowledge of what's going on, your welcome to show up at the store at 10:00. Once we speak with our judges this tread will be updated.
 
Oh ya and about the time change, I don't think that would be a fair thing to do since people who got the flyer for the state championships that says it starts at 10 may not check pte's website or even visit this website (not many of the Nevadan players are members of this website). Wouldn't be really fair if they got 2 hours less sleep then everyone else and got stuck there waiting 2 hours since some of our players take the bus to tournaments or just get dropped off.

edit: I'm sorry, that was really immature of me and I apologize ahead of time. I will double check for you but the last I was told the time for the Nevada tournament is being changed to 1pm. Again, I apologize and I hope that you will help get the word out about the time change among the Nevada players and by editing your post. :smile:

PS Last year the California players only got a couple of hours sleep in their cars!

That's there choice, maybe they should have stayed at a hotel the night before so they would have been rested up :eek: . Oh, and since you were there last year, you should have known that there were more then 10 Nevadan players there so again I'll wait till PTE Games changes it on there website. If you are so connected to them, why don't you just tell them they should update the time, it's better people get there earlier then get there late if it does end up starting at 11.
