21 total Pokemon related to previous generation Pokemon, on initial count. I think the actual number will be closer to 25-30.
Why does Gardy need something else to bastardize it? Gardy is AWESOME, and anything else that could POSSIBLY come out of Kirlia is simply a bastardation of the entire evolution line...

It appears to me that most of the remaining TM's (since there will be 100 total) are those which have existed in the past during the R/B/Y and G/S/C days, which you can currently get through move tutors in our current games. Still, there will most likely be new moves that could be learned through TM's and if thats not the case, I will kinda be surprised. Overall though, I don't find the new D/P pkmn as impressive as the originals or the G/S/C pokes.
What are your guys impressions on these new additions?

WPM - hardly. Those little spinny things in the icon cannot be called "arms". Either way, all split evolutions in the past have at least had DIFFERENCES...this one has the exact same head.

I happen to find a nice commerical for the new games that gives you a look at how the attacks look, which I think they look awesome, even rock slide looks fantastic. Pikachu's attack was really cool...man, I really can't wait for this game. Check it out!

Hey everyone,
Updates are coming around every once and a while so keep checking...anyway, i found another video which gives you an idea of what some other moves look like, especially fire attacks (I think they look great). Not huge surprise here, just another training session with pokemon we have seen already..
more training!
We also have a first battle with your rival here...its kinda interesting because in certain cases your opponent seems to jump in the screen and say something, not sure if they are taunting you or saying something nice about your pokemon's attack.
More evolutions..times 4!
And finally...Team Galaxy encounter....Double Battle!

Hope you had a good weekend...I got myself plenty of Mews, I hope you all did too. Anyway, I found more videos with D/P matches, especially gym leaders so check them out.
This is probably the first gym leader to actually have a starter as one of there pokemon (kinda interesting)check it out!
-Gym Leader # 3 part 1 and part 2
This is kinda cool, a fighting attack similiar to mega drain...Lucario action too.
-Gym Leader #4 here. The psybeam looks awesome...
-Gym Leader # 5 here. Here is a good idea of what Misdreavus' evolved form looks like.
-Gym Leader #6here. Whatever that attack was that the first gym leaders pkmn used on ponyta was awesome. It did a nice amount of damage and left ponyta with only a little HP.
-Also there is game footage of capturing your old pokemon here.

Hey guys...some new footage posted but as a side note...serebii.net has posted some nice screenshots of Magmar's and Magneton's evolutions, plus a couple more as well..so check it out.
-Gym Leader #7...really nice battle...I loved seeing the animation of fire blast, it was awesome, can't wait to see flamethrower and eruption. Anyway the hail effect was great as well, plus the air cutter attack looked nice..not sure what the shadowy effect was on Noctowl but we might figure it out soon, or it maybe a status effect...check it out!!

As for Noctowl...my guess is that it was caught with a Dark Ball, and that's why it looked different when it got sent out.

Oh yeah, I'm thinking that is what is gonna happen. They might created another design of her pose for it wouldn't start some sort of controversy here in the U.S.
We wouldn't want the parents to get upset with PUSA about this, so they would probably deal with it when NOA gets working on decoding and reformatting the game's content for US release.

Anyway...sprites have been popping up of all new D/P pokemon, so check them out in the respected sites..im sure you all know where, kinda nice to get a good idea of what some of them look like. Not sure im liking the Magmar evolution that much, but Piloswine's evolution looks cool.

The weekend is here, so before you all to head off to enjoy a bit of rest or have fun with friends I have a small little update. Found some nice footage of what you can expect for the next generation in PKMN contests. They still exist and look much more distinct and different from the concept we were exposed to in the R/S/E days...anyway if you would like to see how the contests are done now check out the contest!
-Also some nice footage of WIFI trading done by PKMN MEX, and you can kinda hear them speak to each other during the trading..which is awesome for me personally. Its in spanish, so some of you won't know what they said, but it gives everyone the idea of the way trading can be done now!!! So go on..

Hey everyone,
Some new videos came up for the final gym leader, the elite 4, and some captures as well. One nice cool thing that I learned about the game is a new and neat feature which allows you to customize the pokeball of your pkmn. There are various things that can be added and you are only given limited designs to create these effects, some where between 10-12 slots. In order to be able to create these designs, you have to reach a certain part of the game, where you will be given an attachment to your equipment which will store stickers that are simply attached to one of the pokemon slots. Of course the stickers have to be purchased at a pkmn mart, more info can also be found at serebii.net
Now the last gym leader is an electric type trainer, he has pkmn around lvl 44 and up. Some of the attacks look nice, I especially liked when Aipom's evolution did that electrical attack and parukia's 2nd attack.

-Finally capturing legendaries yukushii and Agunomu.
