New victory cup promo for battle roads

I, for one, am glad that top 3 will get it. I was tired of seeing 2-6 people with multitudinous Victory Medals, and everyone else having none at all. Opening it up so it's not only the top spot that gets it is very nice. ^^

i like it as well cause some players dont have the cards to win the whole thing

what happens if a division doesnt get 3 players we've had this happen before will the only person just get all 3
 
^ i assume that the 2nd and 3rd place cups will(or at least should) be send back if there only iss 1 player
 
great. i hope i do as well this year as i did last year. i would have had atleast five of these things. this format proves harder to do so.
 
Very happy they're expanding prize support. (if only they did more trophy cards. Maybe they will?)

But we really don't need 3rd on here. No offence to the 3rd place person, but they will always gets the card on resistance. While they did "earn it", it was little more of the luck of who they played. Especially in the case of a top 2. It doesn't really matter as these cards will soon have no value with 9 being released every event. But it's luck we really don't need in the game atm in my opinion. Just like my beef with the #3 trainer cards but just on a much smaller scale.

But I have no grapes against this decision. I'm glad to see more trophy cards going around. :smile:
 
What they should do is have the 2 people who lost in Top 4 or the 3rd and 4th place finishers in a Top 2 face off for the card so that then the person who gets it will really have earned it.
 
Imo they should have reprinted Computer Search over Itemfinder in this format at least - not that either should be or have been printed. But anyway, glad to see expanded prize support. I'd bet it will be either a really bad, unplayable card or if the trend continues (Tropical Beach now this) it will be something simple like draw a card. As long as there's no flipping coins I'm happy.
 
If you think that Computer Search should be reprinted ever, you are insane. End of story.

Anyway, awesome that prizes are increasing. :)

legit i'd just scoop, it's br's tbh who really cares(unless you still got points for winning in which case i'd put forth some effort)...come on nick...

also it seems if cpeterik is right that the card is okay, but imo victory medal is better, medal>cup, lol ;P

Then proceed to watch the price of this card skyrocket to at least $300+ (that's probably an underestimate too) due to it's (edit:)extremely(/edit) limited availability and the sheer fact that it should almost be 4 in every deck.

OK, no. With all the battle roads there is, and with 9 per BR, there will be plenty.

With an effect like computer search, I think you severely underestimate the demand against the actual number of prints of this card.

Effectively, at 1 BR, you have roughly enough for 2 players to complete a play set. If someone could give me an estimate on the amount of BRs there will be, that would be great.

Also, factoring in collector demand and some people probably wanting more than 4 for multiple decks.

It would be an amazing card that is not mass produced, therefore will be sought after. I'd expect the price to hit that high - I'm running off AUD of course.

That said, mythical worshiped beings willing, the card will NOT be a pseudo Computer Search.
