Official PTCGO Bug Thread (Updated 3/7)

Trying to play some games, but I just get the "Searching for available game..." screen for minutes at a time. No idea why. Deck is perfectly legal (even went through it card-for-card and checked).

Help.

Me too (not using DRV either)... perhaps just very few people playing modified legal?
 
I somehow doubt that. I think it's more that they can't touch something without screwing up something else.

This is honestly unacceptable to me. Like, I'm just sort of sitting here waiting to see if someone is going to address this or what.

Figured it out. I was using HGSS Energies, which, although it didn't illegalize the deck, it apparently wouldn't let me start the game.
 
i traded some cards for packs in the public offers.and since i have no trade offers offering my packs,i'm wondering if this is a glitch.anyone else encountered this?

also,if i hover the mouse over the gem icon it says "busy".i guess that means coming soon:D

discovered if you completely shut down the PTCGO programme the error disappears and you can open packs.

The new mulligan system and a few other system processes seem slower now, but that could just be due to volume of players or some other glitch. It took between 7 and 10 seconds for it to load the "Deck" screen when I wanted to go edit something.

Also:
In the preset phrases that one can say, one of the options under Emotions->Surprised is "Yozwa!" Is this some newfangled expression the kids today are using or did they mean to spell "Yowza!"
 
I'm still running into the glitch where Hydreigon can't move energy off of itself with a tool attached. It lets me activate the ability but I physically can't click the energy since the tool is in the way. The only time it actually works is if Hydreigon is in the active spot since the tool is titled sideways.

And me too. Ever since the Unlimited/Modified update, I have spent a lot of time "Searching for available game..." in Modified Expert mode, but PCTGO has NEVER found one for me. (No problem finding a game in Unlimited, though.) Bug much?:cool:

Check this post. We're aware of the issue and are working on a fix.
 
OK just what exactly are the requirements to run this game?
I tried to load it on the library computer (the unfiltered "adult" computer).
When I try to build a new deck it either had no pictures (all garbled) or just showed the pictures of the Pokemon/Trainers/Energy in the deck building area.
IE the cards I have in my collection and NOT the cards I am choosing to put in the deck.
Then when I play the game it shows "The Pokemon TCG" in the middle whenever I try to choose any card.

If it needs stuff like Flash, they need to have a link or other way to get it.
I have tried every setting there is, and nothing seemed to help.

I try to run it windowed, cause if I don't the screen constantly flickers whenever I move the mouse.
 
I opened up an official ticket about this but I wanted to know if this is happening to anyone else? I can trade, build decks fine but when I start a game and start playing then my whole computer screen goes black with little red horizontal lines and this forces me to reboot my laptop. On a side note this does not happen with any other programs I use on my laptop only with PTCGO and it has been a recent problem. It happend to me 3x today and has forced me to stop using the program. Any ideas what may be causing this?
 
Sounds similar to my graphics issue.
It has the bottom part all messed up as well.
It worked fine on my parents computer (besides some major lag).
As well as before the Boundaries Crossed stuff was added.
 
The Dark Hyrdeigon from Noble Victories cannot attack with Berserker Blade if he has two DCE attached to him.
He should be able to since the ability Dark Aura should convert his two DCE into four dark enegies.
 
Played it earlier at my parents house, maybe it's something to do with the library having some sort of security?
Cause it ran fine on their computer (which is at least 5-6 years old).
Besides the annoying lag caused by the adware program they have on it.

BTW apparently that issue with the Dragon Vault not being modified was fixed.
Cause I was playing nothing but modified the whole time.
Though as usual, when I was winning, people seemed to concede a lot.
It was the novice level (mostly), but somebody did it on expert as well.
 
My opponent had a Rocky Helmet on Sigilyph, and I attacked it with Landorus EX, doing no damage. Rocky Helmet hit me in return. The card states the Pokemon must take damage for Rocky Helmet to take effect.
 
This isn ´t an actual bug, but it still makes me angry as hell.

1. The censure: This game just censure everything, not even bad words. Luck is censured, most things with "you" in the sentence.

If possible, pls don´t be overachievers with censure, pls focus on major insults and such.

2. The afk period until you get kicked outta a game is way to short. I wanted to help my opp, because he was new, typed in smth to help him and it got censured. I told him the laugh was an attempt to help, and typed again, during that the game told me I lost the match. (The whole typing thing took about 2 minutes).

Pls increase the time of being afk until you lose, or change it to exclude typing from being afk.

Sry for my english, I am german and I wrote this in about 5 minutes.

Sry for double posting, but anthoer real bug came to my mind.

Some time ago, Hydreigon´s Dark Trance couldn´t move prisms attached to a Hydreigon. Now it can, which is technically against the rules.
