Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

OREGON State Championship - March 21, 2009

The BIG announcement is.... oh wait I can't tell ya until this Saturday

I'm sooo proud of all of the OR-EE-GON players who represented us at WA States. We went up, we answered back and we conquered. But WA has great players so don;t underestimate them we have stirred up a hornets nest and they will be coming down here to "sting" us back so everyone be ready.
Can't wait to see you all on Saturday!!!!!

The best part about playing in Oregon is that I cant loose to BDS!!

If anyone has any spare TSDS, I need to borrow two for states.
So please PM if you have these.
I'm so ready for states, Let's go Ore-e-gon

yea, but you'll still have to worry about losing to those three guys that walked away with your
trophies last saturday! Seriously though, this is gonna be a lot of fun. We are bringing up
at LEAST 8 players, but we might have another 9 players possibly make the trip up, we'll just have
to see!

Everybody hurry up and get better! For the first time in over a month I'm not feeling any kind of ill and now other people are.. You better be okay for States, or else you'll be stomped on and a match you win because your opponent is too sick to think straight is no fun at all. ;3

Can't wait to see what Raichu's big announcement is. Does anybody remember what his last "big announcement" was that had us all waiting on the edge of our seats? I don't remember it but I remember being terrified he was going to retire.

Nah, Chris is waaaaaay to into pokemon to retire. But it will be interesting to see what it is.

I am gonna revive the idea of raichu going into the stage and singing never gonna give you up. lol jk. Hopefully more free piza.
BUT ONLY TO OREGONERS!

Dont remind me of the 3 guys who got the trophies, every time I see thoes 3 AMU decks at the top its kills me. The title was there for the taking. Pokemon can be so cruel sometimes. Oh well in Oregon you wont be able to hide from me behind BDS!!!!

Seriously though you guys did awsome in Washington States and I am really looking foreward to the opportuity for revenge on Saturday. Good Luck to all.

So I really want to go to States, but have never played in an OP event (other than PT pre-release). My question: Do I go, get killed but have a great experience or do I forgo it this time and keep practicing. My inclination is to go and enjoy the atmoshpere regardless of outcome (but hey, I'm not all that competitive), but I wanted to see what other players have experienced.

Come on down. I guarantee you will have a great time win or lose. You will meet awesome new people, plenty of players to help you along the way, opportunities to win way cool door prizes and what better way to "get your feet wet" at the local State Championship. Come on, you know you want to so... just do it :thumb:

^**** yeah, hang with friends, see what's the buzz for regionals, check out the top decks and how their played, meet new people, great way to spend a lonely saturday =D

yay more peoples! i hope i get a ride with randy, my mom doesn't really want to drive me and my dad hasn't called back yet.

Eleki, of course I can give you ride, but you have to pitch in 10 bucks for gas. (give it to me not my dad, he shouldn't know about it. Wink Wink :D , LOL JK)
13t's G0 0r3-3-60n (Let's go Ore-e-gon!)

Cason Award Delayed

I went in yesterday to pick up the Cason Award. It looked great BUT as I was walking out the door I noticed something - It said 2008 Cason Award. If I remember correctly we already have a 2008 winner, and I don't think it is fair to Nanette to ask her to share the title after a year.

Unfortunately it will have to be redone so we won't have it to present on Saturday. Chris and I talked about this and decided rather than making the announcement with no award to present, we will wait for Regionals and do it right. The recipient doesn't know they have won the award anyway, so waiting a month won't cause any problems.

BDS

BUT ONLY TO OREGONERS!

I promise that all will share in what I have to say.... even if you live in washington......

Anticpation... Anticipation... ANTICIPATION!!! Its making us wait!! 2 more days until the Evergreen State invasion. We will have to sweep all three age groups to make up for last Saturday.

By the way it was a tie 2-2 last week Ross also won a Masters State Championship title.
