Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Oregon State Championship - March 4, 2006

I don't have a complete list, but I know that Washington players made up about 25% of the total number of players in swiss, but when the cut was made, 50% or more in all age groups were WA players.

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?!

Storm is godly. It's an amazing deck that has favorable matchups vs. 90% of the field. HOW COULD YOU NOT SEE THAT? AM I THE ONLY PLAYER IN OREGON WITH A BRAIN?

Anyway... Does anyone have a complete list of top16? How many Oregon and Washington players were there?

ya the deck has only been posted for weeks everybody knew even 10- i think you just need to go face the facts that you suck

heh, NO ONE at our local stuff has been playing it so you really dont know what you are talking about. i know most of the core OR players dont even read the boards and i gave up faith in pokegym decks long ago. learn2play. grats everyone in WA for seeing it as such an uber deck, it really is amazing and paul played it really well, pwend me in top 16 with it.

keebler - Stop treating me like I'm some sort of idiot. You're making a very bad image for yourself.

I've lost faith in Oregon players. The OPTWOBFNSNSBN will be won by Washington this year; I'm just wondering by how many points.

i say that if the 10- had no oregon players in it at your states then you won't get a point in that age group. 11-14 you might get one but don't count on it(we do have the world champ). for the 15+ you should get some shaw ghettys is a good player and some others. BTW if deathlord played something other than king/queen he would get a better place in events.

ya dude, shawn is my hero lol, i too already know WA will win the contest, not really fair to begin with lawls but if 1 manage to put up one point for oregon ill be happy. and yes, josh should play just queen as i have pointed out many times but he loves his deck and wont give up on it lol, maybe he is just lazy, got to admire his dedication to it though :D

I'm surprised by the deck of choice for the Washington players too, as a month+ ago, at the end of cities, I pretty much was the only major player playing Storm. The sudden increase in interest in the deck is surprising. I'm still glad Paul won with nearly my list though.:thumb: Go Paul!

Uhhh Spinach dude, the BEST player in Oregon is without a DOUBT, SHAWN GHETTYS.

Are we talking about legal residents of Oregon, or just on tournament days. The best players in Oregon are the Washington players when they go down there for tournaments.

WA: 3 OR: 0

Can't wait for Washington states.

Claiming players for a particular league it rather tough for Western Washington, as all six of these players can also be considered members of Godfather's Pizza in Covington as well as Shane's in Renton.

11-14 1st and second (Stuart & Zane) can be claimed by Shane's, Godfather's, and West Coast Cards & Comics. Plus Zane played at Phoenix Games just over a week ago.

10- 1st and 4th (Matt S. and Henry L) can be claimed by Shane's. Plus Matt plays at DJ's and Henry L has played at Godfather's.

And let's face it..

Many of these players could be traced back to the old WOTC league that Joey ran along time ago......

Joey set the stage for future great leagues and players....
