NOOO! The ONLY hope for Southern Oregon standing a chance is if you two northern cities split the
crowds AND have terrible tournouts! lol. @_@ I gotta say though, if we break 40 and soar to new

We have had one in Salem for years. When we got permission to add an event we had to find a location an hour or more from our existing events, and Corvallis was a bit too close to Salem. We ended up with Eugene. Recently we got to add a second event in the Portland area because the size of that event had grown to over 100 players.

Well My dad's working 31st , 7th and 8th.
I better start finding rides soon.
Now the question is which one to go on the 7th.
If chris/june is going to Eugene , maybe they can take me?
Salem might be tough , if ben's going then I'll ask him.
Seth is going to loki's so I should ask him.
I'll work on it.
But one of the biggest factors even bigger then rides is money.
Better start doing extra stuff around the house then.
I'll get to at least one PR , That's a promise! (I won't miss out on pulling/ trading for a Shaymin X. (Sky Forme)
Also I need like 30 bucks for each event , thats 60-90 , then if I go to a draft or two thats 25 each. that's 110-140 dollars , plus the 40 for the box... that's 150-190.
Well... I have a load of work to do....
 
or you could just go to one pre, then trade for the stuff you want. instead of getting like 3 boxes worth of cards...

agreed! lol. randy, seth and i will be going to the pre release together, i dont think we can take you because we are going to be staying late and we will be cutting it close on making it on time. i have to go eat breakfast with somebody. :( Sorry rand i will let you know if some cancellations come up and we can take you.
 
hay big daddy snorlax i was woundering i was at ashland and they said that during the prerelease in ashland they were going to sell a box of Platinum are you going to do that at the salem prerelease (just woudering)

Not sure what you are referring to. Since the cards have not been released when we do the Prereleases, we are not allowed to sell them. Pewrhaps you misunderstood what they were saying. Next time Jason stops by this thread maybe he will clarify what you heard.

So, who's running which tourneys? If you need help with judging Rivals, I'm more than willing to lend a ruggedly roughish rocket hand.

Oh, also, I hope lots of people come out to Hillsboro to check out our first ever pre-release. I'm pretty excited! I'll have to whip something up to make sure the party's special.

My understanding is that we are not selling the boxes ourselves at the prerelease. However, the local game store, Astral Games and Hobbies, will have representitives on site to take orders for a special deal they are doing on the Platinum boxes (Box+Platinum Portfolio for 90$ I believe), which will be going out once the set is actualy released.

:Edit: Whoops, the event it self will be at Astral Games, so of course there will be representitives around!
 
alright, to save gas money, I'm just gonna go to the Loki's one and stick around for the draft.

It'll be awesome :)

Also my dad was going to spend 20 bucks on a ipod charger , but since I got my ipod to work , I got 20 bucks for prerelease. (now All I need for the event is 5 and maybe 20 more for draft , plus more for another event)
Of course if I can't make it , the money will just have to go for my box.
Well I need like 5 pokemon , and 10 trainers to get for my deck.

Rival's is right on the max line, if that helps. Like, you just ride the max to Hillsboro Transit Center, get off the train, walk one block, boom, Rivals. Piece of cake.

Considering how troublesome parking can be, many of you might want to consider the alternative. :thumb:
 
Yeah problem is my parents don't let me take the bus/max alone.
Also there is no max line near my house so I would have to ride the bus to the max line , then than the max to rivals.
