Well, Atlanta was won by the Father surrendering to his son - so they got 3 free trips to Nationals. The father got a free trip, and the son got a free trip for himself and another guardian since he is under 18.

You have to be pretty lucky to not play each other until the finals.

Don't forget they also get a $300 travel voucher as well. So they're basically being paid to go to Nats XD

Unfourtunately, i won't be seeing you in indy. :frown: I did not make top 4 so they will not pay for me to go.

Lame - I am going for the grinder so i gotta pay my way as well.

And don't forget that his daughter won the Junior division that morning.

So they won four free trips to Nationals PLUS an additional travel voucher which should help pay for their other son who was knocked out of the event.

I'm the dad from the family that swept Atlanta. There was a lot of luck on my journey to the finals, but the kids worked very hard and deserved everything they got. I did eventually surrender to my son, but he can beat me 75% of the time these days.
