yOU ARE INCORRECT and it's obvious you have no clue what you're talking about bro. Donphan will definately have time because it won't even matter, you wont get the KO as easy as you think regardless plus Donphan can wall. :thumb:
 
It doesn't really need Donphan anyways. Just go straight Machamp and use Reuniclus to spread damage around for a heavier Champ Buster. #PlannedParenthood

Really? I don't know what I'm talking about? When I'm going to be whacking em in the head, while they try to attach 3 energys to an elephant. Donphan can only wall but for so much. Reshi kills it in 2 shots (that's before 3 energies) RDL, Magnezone (even though it'll take a 3 energies), Emboar 19 all can 1 shot it. Oh, so can Machamp, and Lanturn/ any good water Pokemon too.

It looks like YOU don't know what YOU'RE talking about BRO!! Wall? what wall? :lol: PLEASE!!

Like I said, they'll go into scoop phase.

Magnezone would take 4 energies because 120+20 for body + 20 for resistance = 160 unless for some reason you're running PlusPower.

what's 150-20? 130 right? it takes 3 energies for zone to do 150. how much hp does Donphan have? 120 right? so zone does 130 for 3 right?....... ok.

Hello guy.

Donphan has lightning resistance and the pokebody (for -20 a piece).

150 - 40 = 110.

Try again. Helps if you actually know the stats of the card you're talking about.
 
Amphy, I think you're forgetting something Donphan has that Magnezone doesn't.
Speed.
What's faster,
A stage 1 with 1 fighting energy or a stage 2 with 4 Energy (1 of which is electric)?
Hide behind your Cleffa I'll Catcher that thing. Don't forget Donphan also 1 shots with a PPower and even then you best be praying your Magnemites/Tepig don't get killed before they evolve.

Cards aren't good just based off sheer power. That's like saying Magnezone is ALWAYS better than Zekrom because it has more HP and does more damage and Zekrom can't 1 shot it where Magnezone can 1-shot Zekrom.

I forgot about resistance. Ok, still it'll take 4 energies to KO a Donphan. That's pretty hard on zone. But when all of the Machamp's are gone it's not going to be easy for Donphan either.

Anyway, aren't we supposed to be talking about how to help make this dude's Reshiboar list better, so he can test, or whatever? lets get back to that.
 
It could be a combination of you not playing it right and your list.

Starting off with your list, are you running:
  • a minimum of 3 Pokemon Collector and Junk Arm each?
  • 4 Pokemon Communication or a 3/1 split of that and Professor Elm's Training Method?
  • Tyrogue?
  • at least 8 cards that provide some form of draw?
  • Switch? Pokemon Reversal?
  • an answer to Rayquaza Deoxys Legend?

When you're playing, do you:
  • stop to use Pokemon Collector to thin out your deck prior to using Roast Reveal? (if Engineer's Adjustments isn't run)
  • allow a minimum of two energy in the discard at any given time?
  • force baby or Reshiram/Donphan/Magnezone/Emboar KOs with a combination of Tyrogue and Reversal?

If your answer is "no" to any of these, I would highly suggest that you make the appropriate changes.

A lot of very good points, but I do have to somewhat disagree with a few of them. My Reshiboar build works well with only 6 cards that provide some form of draw and 3 Communications with no Elms. I would also go on to say that 4 Junk Arm are a must in Reshiboar.
 
I have everything in ReshiBoar that you listen except for an RDL answer, but it's done bad even against decks that lack RDL.
 
Strange, because with my build, I've been able to have even matches simply by rushing for baby KOs while trying to get Emboar 19 online in anticipation of Donphan or any other high-HP attacker. For me, that's enough to stay in the game.
