Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

RockBand - How will it do in DP-on?

I think Bellossom > Beedrill, simply because it can work with Vileplumes as well, and not just Beedrills. Gives the deck more flexibility. Added effect of burn is nice too.
Also bizzle; had you read the topic, you would've found out its Beedrill, from Great Encounters.

IMO the trainer engine gets quite a boost with Cynthia's and Buck's. Losing Great Ball really hurts though.

Emp and Kingdra matchups are pretty rough, but AMU should be a piece of cake. Despite that, I doubt a lot of ppl will try it because there are so many options in LA.

Looks like the name finally caught on XD

I think it was christened 'RockBand' due to the combination of Beedrill's attack name and the fact that most versions of it ran Cessation Crystal (a 'rock') and/or Crystal Beach (more 'rocks'). That makes sense to me anyway.

As everyone has already said, I think this deck will certainly be a contender especially since now cheap attacks are all the rage in the absence of the steroid energies, plus Azelf really does help with the 'Beedrill/Weedle being prized' issue and Shaymin lv. X makes Beedrill virtually impossible to OHKO outside of hitting its weakness or via Mesprit lv. X's Supreme Blast.

Nice list.

I like the Dusky tech.

Beedrill will get better. Only thing is Fire will get big again since the release of alot of good grass pokemon in IFDS,making Magmortar and Heatran X more of a deadly combo. Well MagLeaf could handle Beedrill 2.

For all those wondering why it's called RockBand, it's because Claydol is almost a "Rock" type and Beedrill has a "Band" Attack. I liked the other explanation that the deck rocked though.

@helghast: I like that list, except I would cut the Felicity's for Buck's. How do you feel about that change?

^I've done that before. It's not as retarded good as it is against Kingdra or AMU since this deck is a little slower.

The days of a defined meta game are all but over. Sure there will be some "popular decks" but with LA out, we are more likely to see a whole bunch of red face paint decks that actually work instead of one or two super decks. IFDS may change things but I speak of the present.

Of the more popularish red face paint decks you are fairly likely to see Beedrill though Bellossom is better and will also see a good deal of action. 2/13 decks may be Bedrill:pokeball:

I still can't determine wether I like Bellossom or Beedrill more.

They are basically the same with just a few differences.

I do like Gloom over Kakuna. Frustration is sooo good and can easily set up OHKO's for Bellossom. The deck can also take advantage of call energy while Beedrill can't..but doesn't really need to either. I think Bellossoms first attack can also be very helpful against some spread decks, also its resistance to water is helpful. Although I do not really like Vileplume, it could be helpful in some situations.

However, 1 energy attacks are SOOOOOOO much better than 2 energy attacks. I think when Shaymin is released, it'll give Beedrill more of a boost than Bellossom.
