No sorry. We're bringing our Gamecube for demos of Pokemon Stadium and Pokemon XD, and after the main event we'll be having the SSBM tourney... all Nintendo games *coughnintendoownspokemon*cough*notsegaps2ordbzcough*

I'd expect much more for this one, if for no other reason than PokeMama's the one running it this time. I know for certain that I'll be there, probably with the rest of the Chicago krew and most of Team Wisconsin as well.

As for driving up from South IN, it's one heck of a drive, man. gl making it on time!

Hey you'd certainly be welcome! Our PreReleases usually are around 40 in attendance... I'm figuring at least 50 for this event and our location at the Women's Club (just down the street from our store Tomorrow Is Yesterday) can hold 70+ easily... so the more the merrier! I know it will be a great event for everyone who comes! If you need easy directions, I'll post a Mapquest link in my opening post here. Or of course anyone may feel free to PM me with any questions. Actually I'd love it if people would start PMing me their info if they plan to attend so we can get a good feel for who's actually planning to attend. :wink:

And Justin, just so you know, we're not just "bringing in games"... the Pokemon games are to entertain people perhaps between rounds, to showcase the Pokemon on them. Same thing with the GameBoy corner for your Pokemon Games. The SSBM tourney afterwards is just totally for the fun of it in case some people may be riding in with people entering in the Side event but may not want to play in it themselves. People can watch or participate, something for everyone. But those are the only games we're bringing. I do think it will make for a great day and evening of Pokemon fun!

EX: INXS Sealed

When: After the main event
Where: At the event site
Cost: Free
Participation Maximum: 8
Format: Sealed+

Each player recieves:
1) A sheet of paper representing 6 simulated packs of EX: INXS
2) A slip representing 2 simulated packs of the INXS: Switched Up Mini Set
3) Spoilers for 1 + 2
4) 40 index cards
5) A EX: INXS deck registration sheet
6) One Skitty Vegas promo card

Directions:

1) Fill out the deck registratkion sheet (including for the mini-set and promo card-you can use those if you want).
2) Copy the names, numbers, and HP (as well as any other info you like) onto the index cards. Make sure they are accurate (however, the spoiler is still official).
3) Play using the index cards while referring to the spoiler.

Registration is 45 minutes
Round time is 25 minutes

Prizes:
1st $15 iTunes Gift Card + 2 EX: Delta Species Booster Packs
2nd 3 EX Emerald Booster Packs + 1 EX: Delta Species Booster Pack
3rd 2 EX Emerald Booster Packs
4th 1 EX Emerald Booster Pack

Also, each match winner gets to randomly pull a card from my box

Standard Disclaimer: This is an unsanctioned event. Also, remember, that EX: INXS and INXS: Switched up are not real card sets and Skitty Vegas is not a real promo card. :wink:

We'll have food, a free pack, entertainment in between rounds, side events, lots of great door prizes, including a free pass into our next PreRelease, not to mention some of the greatest players in the Midwest area to play...what more could a Pokemon fan want?! Only a week from this Sunday, on Jan 8th!
