Back on topic, I'm very excited about Sunday! Things are looking great! I've got the subs ordered and I'll be baking all the cookies in a few days! Don't forget if you'd like to print out your deck registration form and fill it out ahead of time, you can get it here.

dld4a. Probably the only person I know to have all of the following qualities: multiple family members on this site, the ability to get to this tournament, and a fettish for Clefable.
 
Just got off the phone with the Rockford Register Star for the article about our City Championship. They took some pics at our store last week and should have a nice article in the paper either tonight or in tomorrow's, so keep your eye's peeled for it! (and save one for me if you get one, since I'm from out of town :wink: )
 
I don't think so... the newspaper. Although I did send a press article to all the television stations as well as newspapers :wink:
 
About how long will this tourney last? Due to some scheduling mistakes on my part, I have to leave the venue by about 3:00 in order to get back to my place, and I REALLY wanna get out for this particular tourney. Any news?
 
There is no way imaginable that by 3:00 this will be done. Some of us have church in the morning and don't get there until 12:15. (Pre-registered) 12:30 to 3:00 says 5 rounds if each played 30 minutes and no delays. The reality is that 4: rounds would have been played by 3:00

Yes I'm assuming the Swiss rounds to be done around 4. You're still welcome to play for as long as you're able of course!

Of interest, they did a GREAT practically full page article with pictures for our event in todays (Saturday) paper at the Rockford Register Star, on the Life and Style page!

Can't wait to see you all there tomorrow! Looking forward to a wonderful time! Hope you'll all cut me some slack for my first PTO event! But I think it'll all go well and be a lot of fun!

if you're PLANNING on playing and dropping, that just hurts other people's resistances. cmon bullados, you wouldn't want to do that, would you?

Apparently it's Jason K. (Ness) with Ludicolo vs Cory G. with Rock Lock in the finals! Matt E. (Rulemaster) made T4 with Nidoqueen along with Adam V. (Ice'Cold) who played Rock Lock.
