Very good deck! Only people as brave as you will play it...like me!!!! against kingdra u should do fine and there is also bubble coat.

Wow, this is just...wow, really good now.

Ok...so, let me get this straight, as opposed to just using lots of special conditions, you just use Moth when they hit you and do 2 for 80 all the time? LMK as i have wanted to try both versions of the deck before

I'd drop 1-1 venomoth for 2 pokeradar. Maybe put a grass in there for venomoth. Looks pretty good otherwise. Cool concept.

Mewoxys666

Empoleon? Much harder to deal with. Torkoal is always an option, but its weak to water. Maybe some clever leveling up, 80, and BP scooping could do the trick. I'll have to get back to you on that.

PokePockets

With this particular list, yes. That is an option. Shoot posion + pester, Night slash to Moth + pester, BP scoop to Moth + pester. Ive yet to actually play the deck, but I cant wait. There are just so many options. By all means play this for your Battle Roads. (Keeping our name would be great :D )

I think that the really powerful T2-3 decks will prevent people from playing Empoleon too rashly. As long as AMU is there to keep it safe, I doubt Emp will see too much play.

Kind of like how Magmortar prevented the counters from hitting GG too heavily.

I'm actually only running a 2-2 Moth, it works efficiently enough.

Hehe. Shuckle is actually pretty nice IMO. A wall for special energy cards? Aka no multi, call, heal, nothing with specials can hurt him, he's good for using call, idk man. Seems pretty good to me.

Shuckle's a waste.

Man Brawler you are a piece of work.:nonono:

Shuckle IMO would be great he can use call energy and most decks will setup with call energy and Luxray decks WILL run Call and/or Health energy so as to not discard three lightning energy per turn. Also Froslass decks and many others that run tech say against AMU with Mightyena WILL run Multi Energy.

It is essential in this type of deck and NOT a waste because of the potential disruption this adds to it. Empozong is another example of a deck that will run Multi's the only deck that I can think of off the top of my head that won't need Multi's are AMU, Leaf/tile, Torterra Variants, however Leaf/tile and Torterra Variants will run Call Energy for setup. What deck doesn't like to Call if they go first?:nonono:

I feel that adding in the 2 Mime Jr. would be more beneficial with a 1-1 Mothin than the 2-2 Mothim tech.:thumb:

If needed, an Azelf LX can take care of the Leafeon mess. And really, good defense off Venomoth can ruin Leafeon relatively quickly.. Think about it.

Poison/Sleep through Venomoth effect, persisting through KO even, Leafeon takes 10. activate Gliscor, drop one plus power, 90 damage, poison next turn, dead Leafeon.

Besides, the status effects aren't really necessary. Against Leafeon, you'd just use Venomoth more than Mime.

Mimey hold for maybe one to 2 turns at most, which is the point because it allows Gliscor to set-up. If Gliscor sees a Leafeon coming he's going to bring him up to KO Leafeon in it's early stages.

I really like this deck, and I really like Magnevire, so I tested them against eachother. The whole match was a joke. Magnevire counters this deck so well its not even funny. You could really use a tech against it.

I don't really see why Magnezone lv. x would be such a huge threat. If it's hit with a status effect it can't use Electric Trans, and if it retreats for free with the regular form's Body to get rid of status afflictions to enable Electric Trans, it is going to have to rely on Warp or Switch to get it back out there to attack that turn. Special Metal energy wouldn't seem to matter much with poison/burn in the mix, enabling it to be 2HKOed enough of the time. I'd also say Scorpio would have the speed advantage. Finally, Gliscor lv. X's ability to do essentially what Magnezone lv. X does (auto-paralyze followed by 80) would seem to further equalize things if not swing them in Scorpio's favor. If I was playing against this deck I would likely hold off on even playing Gliscor lv. X until they had already leveled up Magnezone, so that when it was paralyzed they'd have no way out of that aside from Switch/Warp Point.

The only way I can really see things slipping for Scorpio is if the opponent managed to get 2 Magnezone lv. X in play (as well as Electivire of course), because then they could retreat 2 tanks freely while retrieving and swapping energy and there would be no way to shut down Electric Trans. However, going back to the speed advantage Scorpio should have, I don't think it would be so easy for the Magnezone player to get that well set up to begin with. The reusability of Gliscor lv. X would also come in handy if that deck DID get so well set up. It'd consistently be getting a taste of its own medicine.

Getting 2 zone in play was easy for it to do, and it didn't even matter that Gliscor took a few quick prizes against it. Once those magnezones got going it was game over.

good deck idea, there's a few people around my area trying to run it for BR's, however here are my "counters" against this deck that would hurt it.

Groudon-Gets by Mime easily
Unown G- only way to put conditions is level up, stops azelf x against a leafy
Dusknoir- Limited bench might change things Claydol, mime, gliscor theres 3/5
Luxray- Can you play without having Gliscor X on the field?
Armaldo + G
Wager

Once your "front lines" go down, then what? you dmg then scoop to bring up another but need 2 turns to attach energies again, what if your opponent is running mime w/ a G or mime jr?

I like the deck idea, and the concept of hit & run/scoop but, like they say w/ kingdra, there is a lot to counter this deck. I will be fully convinced once i play against it and it completly owns me.....
