Serperior Tank

Renuiclus is only there to move the damage. You see, I can just move the damage off of him and onto another Grass type. That way I can just heal it off with a Leaf Storm. If I set the damage correctly, I should be able to remove at least 40 damage from each of my guys a turn. That, is pretty significant.

Yes but what i am saying is that 1 royal on the bench or anywhere = 20 damage healed exactly the same as the attack but for everyone. This allows more flexibility in case of high damage on your active as you can spread more damage o reuniclus and still heal him. Also if you are stuck with a sunflora or reuniclus active your 2 benched royal heal will still work.

2 royal heal anywhere in the field = 40 damage healed, 1 royal + 1 leaf storm that needs to be active and attacking = 40 damage healed so I don't see why bother.

i see what you mean crimson, they pretty much do the same amount of heals.

but i did notice that the leaf storm serperior has 0 retreat :)

I find that the Rare Candies don't help very much with Spiritomb in here. I would -2 Rare Candy +1 Servine and +1 Alph Lithograph LOOK AT YOUR FACE DOWN PRIZE CARDS! This would still let you use Rare Candy in your time of need, but allow more consistency, which is what this deck really needs more of. Every game, I find myself fully developed, with 2-3 RC in my hand.

I will be getting rid of Spiritomb soon. I just keep them in there because I really am not sure what to add in their place.

That, is one reason why I prefer to keep two of the Leaf Storm in my list.

The problem that I see is that it is so simple for many decks to have a single Reshiram and just rely on the first attack which is colorless (I know I will). To have any chance against a single Reshiram (which is even trivial to get because of the box) you will need Metapod and you get an unstable setup that requires too many Pokemon to be in play.

Zekrom has a similar effect on decks with electric weakness, too simple to use for revenge knockouts using less resources that the guy with the Stage-2 attacker. Note how even Zekrom gives you trouble aince you don't have a pluspower.

These guys will be everywhere and look how hard they are for you to handle even if you have the perfect setup.

^ Good point. May need 2 or so PlusPower to be able to KO Zekrom and Reshiram.
The deck does have a load of problems and one of those is consistency. I struggle to get Reuniclus and Serperior out early. If something similar to Shaymin X were in the format, then it would be much better, but because of Zekrom/Reshiram easily KOing Serperior jut with a PlusPower makes the strategy hard to pull off. I'm sure there is a way to get around this but like posted above, it just leads to a clunky deck.

Reshiram would like to say hello :p

IMO, take out the non royal heal serperiors and add samurott with the ability. Have him tank, then move damage counters and heal with serperior

Too many tech lines would slow this deck down way too much.

A deck with two stage-2 lines (and stage-1 lines too) is already doubtful. Adding another one makes it hopeless.

I didn't want to sift through 4 pages to see if this was suggested already, but you could try playing 1-2 celebi prime for energy attachment if the speed is really that big of a problem.

also, you want this deck to have speed but you play NO broken time space.... that makes the sunfloras basically useless as you use them to get your pines out faster.

IMO
-2 switch (i get the whole, "i dont want to discard energies" thing, but 4 switch is still over kill)
-1 rare candy (3 is enough since you cant use them t1 anyways)
-1 flower shop lady (you'll see why)

and add in

+3 broken time space
+1 palmers contribution, this is so much better than flower shop lady in the fact that you dont have to get 5 if you dont want to, and you can get all energy/pokemon if thats what you need to put back into the deck.

also, PONT is good, but from what I've seen, people use pont when they have a hand of useless cards, so you could take out the 2 PONT and +2 professor juniper. I (along with other great players in my area) have been testing this card out in basically everything, and it has proven to be infinitely better than PONT.

Those are great suggestions, but this deck is for after the rotation. I suppose I need to make this more clear. Also, personally, I am not a huge fan of Juniper. I usually get it when I do not want her. That is why I run PONT.

Tropius UL might just be the starter you need to get your deck running.

That's an interesting idea. Might serve as a good replacement for the 'Tombs, idk if it is worth it though...

in HGSS on, i have tryed many starters and the ones i find superior are Stantler UL and Tropius UL. Stantler is good because he always gets 2 Basics to your bench which can mean a example: Snivy and Solosis, snivy and sunkern etc. Tropius is a little flippy but it works, it can get u a Sunflora or Serperior T2...
I find Stantler superior in my testing. but as i said Tropius did well also :)

Hmm. I'll think on that. I do like my list how it is though. Btw, I forgot to mention this, but I decided to take out a Leaf Storm Serperior for a Royal Heal one. That way, I can maximize the damage that I heal each turn.

I play mine oddly. I run a 4-4-4 Serperior line with no candies. I run into BTS in my area a lot. It doesn't really have issues setting up. But idk... Nice list though. Does Reuniclus and the switches help you? I try unown Q. Pm me if you wish. I really love this Pokemon.

Yeah. Reuniclus is great because if I use it sort sort out the damage correctly, I can heal all that was done to me (most of the time). Generally switches are helpful and are rcomended because of Reuniclus' massive retreat cost. They are there just in case I get Luxray'd.
