This has been edited into my original post.

I have added a POP series 1 booster to each 1st and 2nd place.

Here is the first round...stuff.

-Make any evolved pokemon that currently exists.
-You may not make any pokemon-ex, pokemon with owners in their names, dark pokemon (example: dark ampharos), etc.

Cards will be graded as follows:

Creativity /20
Picture /10
Stats (HP, retreat, etc.) /5
Grammar/Spelling /5
Realism /10
Total /50

I'm not going to be incredibly picky on grammar/spelling. I won't take a mark off if you don't capitalize "benched" or something dumb like that. Also, if your card doesn't fit the criteria, you will be receive a 25 mark deduction from your final score.

Post your cards here or PM them to me.

The first round ends Thursday night at 12:00 midnight, GMT.

At the end of the round I will eliminate the people with the 5 lowest scores

Gardevoir
Stage 2 [P] Pokemon-Evolves from Kirlia
110 HP

Poke-Power: Trace
Once during your turn(before you attack), if Gardevoir is your active Pokemon and the Defending Pokemon has a Poke-Power, you may flip a coin. If heads, Trace copies that Poke-Power and anything required to use it. You can't use this Power if Gardevoir is affected by a Special Condition.

[P] Backhanded Barrier
Flip a coin. If heads, reduce all damage done to Gardevoir during your opponent's next turn by 20. If tails, during your next turn, reduce all damage done to any of your opponent's Active Pokemon by 10.

[P][P][C] Future Sight
At the end of your opponent's next turn, place 5 damage counters on the Defending Pokemon(benching either Pokemon does not end this effect).

Weakness: [P]
Resistance: None
Retreat Cost: [C][C]

Picture: In the center of the picture is a Gardevoir, looking right at you, facing you, extending the whole height of the picture, and taking up the middle 1/5 of the picture, other then it's hands. It's hands are outstretched to about the point where 1/8 of the picture remains on either side. Around each hand is a circle of holographic blue energy, appearing in front of the hand, filtering the view of the hand. The Gardevoir's eyes are glowing blue, and it's mouth is basically neutral, slightly on the side of angry. In the background is a clock, which takes the middle 1/2 of the picture, 1/4 left on each side. The clock has many hands in different positions, some more visible the others, showing the movement of the hands. The most visible one is at 12, and the least visible one is at 1, becoming more and more visible as it progresses clockwise. The background(other then the clock) is just wavy holofoil purple lines, with a darker purple inbetween the lines, which are running horizontal.

*Crosses Fingers*

Wow, lotsa choices. Hmm...

BTW, is it OK to use parenthesis() as opposed to brackets[]? Another question: Are astericks (*) OKed to be used as symblos for colorless energy requirements? I'd be nice to know if I'm in the next round.
------------------
Blastoise [W]
Stage 2 (Evolves from Wartortle)
HP: 100

Poke Power: Strong Current
Prevent all effects of attacks to Blastoise by pokemon with a maximum HP of 70 or less. This Power stops working when Blastoise is affected by a special condition.

[W][C]: Surf Over (30)
Choose up to three of you opponent's benched pokemon. This attack does ten damage to each of them (don't apply weakness, resistance, pokemon powers, poke bodies, etc for damage done to benched pokemon).

[W][W][C]: Whirlpool Revitalization (50)
Choose one of your opponent's benched pokemon and flip two coins. For each heads, discard a [W] energy attached to Blastoise and deal 20 damage to the benched pokemon (don't apply weakness or resistance for damage done to the benched pokemon). For each tails, place a damage counter on Blastoise and search your discard pile for a [W] energy and attach it to Blastoise. If both flips are tails, switch the defending pokemon with the chosen benched pokemon (deal damage before switching).

Weakness: [G]
Resistance: --
Retreat: [C][C][C]

Picture: The storm clouds form in the horizon, barely visible from behind the mounting wall of water. In the foreground is an enraged sea turtle, Blastoise. His eyes glow with an eerie white-yellow cast as he flings his arms in front of his body, one paw pointing at something in the distance which we cannot see. The whirlpool in which he sits spits mist away from his body and streams of concentrated water shoot from out beside of the whirlpool, which is a black/dark blue mixture of water. No foam in the picture is truly white; it is all casts with some sort of black. The stormbound above shoot lightning through the sky and hit in the background behind Blastoise. The white hot lightning bolts are the only thing in the picture that is truly white. Blastoise is un-phased by this lightning strike (explaining his lack of weakness to [L] type pokemon) and stares ever more ominously toward the direction of his outcast paw.

There. Hope it works for ya. And GL to the rest of the competitors for this round.

EDIT: Fixing card brokenness and some grammar problems...

yes, that would be fine.

Noctowl [C]
80HP
Stage 1
Evolves from Hoothoot

Weakness:[L]
Ressitance:[F]
Retreat Cost:

Poke-POWER: Fortune teller
Once during your turn (before your attack), count the number of cards in your opponent's hand. Take the number of cards off the top of your deck equal to the number of cards in your opponent's hand and look at them. When you are done looking, place the cards back on the top of your deck in the same order. This Power can't be used if Noctowl is affected by a special condition.

[C][C]-Keen Eye-10
You may flip a coin. If heads, look in your opponents discard pile. For each Supporter, remove 1 damage counter from Noctowl. If tails, this attack does nothing (not even damage).

[C][C][C]-Future Sight-10
Flip 2 coins. If both are heads, look at your opponent's hand. For each Basic Pokemon in your opponent's hand, place 1 damage counter on one of your opponent's Pokemon. If 1 heads and 1 tails, choose one of your opponents Pokemon. At the end of your opponent's next turn, place 5 damage counters on that Pokemon. If both are tails, look at one of your opponent's prizes. You may switch that prize with the top card of your opponents deck.

Picture
In the middle of the picture is Noctowl. It is a front veiw of Noctowl. Noctowl is flying high above the ground. It's wings a widley spread out and his eyes have a golden glow. In the background is a forest. The forest stretches as far as the eye can see. It is night time, and a full moon is out. The moon is in the top right corner of the picture. The sky is decorated with millions of stars.

I would like to try!!

Raichu

Any attacks done to Raichu by your Opponent's :lightning type Pokemon is reduced by 20.

:lightning :colorless Shock Bolt 20
Flip a Coin. If Heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed.

:lightning :lightning Thunder-Punch 40

:lightning :lightning :colorless :colorless Thunderous Speed 50
Flip a Coin. If Heads, prevent all effects, including damage, done to Raichu by your opponent's Pokemon during their next turn. If Tails, choose one of your opponents Benched Pokemon and do 20 damage to that Pokemon. (Don't apply Weakness or Resistance to Benched Pokemon).

Weakness: [F]
Resistance:
Retreat: [C]

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Picture shows Raichu, his attacking face on. He's balancing upon his tail, touching the dirt. There's lightning bolts being discharged all around him, yet he isn't being touched by them. There's a smirk of defiance upon his face, and his body is a little bent, as if he's ready to leap off his tail towards the attacker. He's just off-center, taking about 3/4 of the image to the right. He's facing diagonally to the left.

Aww man. Oh well. It was still fun to think of it up. =)

Maybe next time.

Good luck to you all who did make it though!! =D

Just to let you all know, I'm going to start grading cards now to prevent a large gap between rounds.

I won't post your scores until the end of the round tho.
