Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Speculation on the World Championships Promo Card ??

My bets are on a Mew promo... with Devolution Beam and Psywave. Much cheaper for POP to buy a lot of fifty from eBay and stamp them with a World Championships 2004 stamp.

RG: Can you give the meaning of that vinegar saying? I don't think it translates directly, unless you mean Phil is acting sour.

First time I've been compaired to a salad dressing and you have spoil my fun, getting an accurate translation. :p

I've been known to be sweet, but sour is new one. Haven't been called tart yet. I'm shooting for spicy. I'm really like a fine wine, even though I'm not completely of age to be drinking, let alone fine wines. Vintage 1987, good year.

Meganium EX Promo #45 Available for autograph! That's what it is...

I am sure of it...really I am, why are you skeptical, you believed Ives after all...

IvesR, are you sure Dave S wasn't talking about the one-of-a-kind "Trophy" card for the 3 age-group champions?

My bet is that the participant/staff promo will be Metagross. The "Trophy" card will be something different.

And if you win, choose Mew with Devolution Beam and Psyshadow.

POP and PHIL - drinking vinegar is what is called a saying and it's not meant bad.

And that's how his post was read by me. I read it as, because ..... is not able to produce unique promocards they can also fall back on the old ones.
I was laughing about the humor in that.
In one sentence PHil verbalize the thought of many people. So he is not acting sour he worded what we think in a nice way. But ......... will see this as a complain about not being original and will think Phil is acting sour.
When you express yourself this way we overhere will ask you if you have been drinking vinegar.

I put that one up because I know you will put it through a translator or try to understand what I mean, knowing you could get close, but not enough.
I did met Phil a few times when we were over and never had any argu with him, he even signed my Dutch Bill cards and we had nice conversation always.
I think he can appreciate when I write something here were you have to think about more than twice before you understand.
To be honest (and now you will laugh) while I'm reading and writing I use 2 dictionairies, trying to understand words I don't know and translating expressions I want to post. That this will lead sometimes to discussions, well that's only funny trying to understand each others humor and false bottoms. (or am I using again a wrong expression)

Yep Steve, he mentioned afetrwards also that champion cards were one of akind (until they meet my new xerox super duper machine), so i believe he meant it that way, no metagross.

RG: I know you were tweaking Phil in good humor and that it is a saying, but to be honest, I'm still not getting the sense of what the saying means.

Bit of reference: When she was a little girl living on a farm in Ireland, my mother actually did like to drink vinegar!

So, just curious on when you would say that about someone.

Nice Feraligater. I hope it is Shiftry ex. Boy that will be sweet if it was Better yet Tyranitar ex.
