Everything in the deck is resistant to Fighting & it has Holon WP ... so it's hard for Gallade to really maul you too bad. The Answer has no powers so Psychic Lock doesn't really hurt you. You don't have to hit weakness to "counter" a deck but you could easily add something like that if you really wanted to. In my testing G&G has a really hard time with this deck ... however, even with weakness, it's hard to beat Mags.....

Testing and more optomistic than I was intially against this.

Like most decks in this genre, the more you play against them, the better you get at playing against them!

Hey, I'm just a little confused. Can DRE trigger the Holon FF, or how does it work here?
If your asking if Holon FF's effect works by having DRE counting as the energy then no. If you are asking if DRE counts as a Holon FF then the answer is yet again, NO.

Hmm... I really like this deck. It easily gets riid of mag and turn two decks. I think to get rid of Gallade a combination of altaria and crawdaunt would be good. I see the amazing potential for this deck, and being in seniors it is easier for me to play. So, I will work on this for a while and let you know what I come up with.

It serves no other effect other than to provide another Holon energy to attach to Pidgeot delta. I chose that one over GL cause it looks too similar in colr to WP and I dont want to mistake it for a WP.

Wow! Never thought of that good idea. Just a quick question who is the main attacker in this deck.

I try to attack mostly with Pidgeot SW. It usually depends on what I am playing against... With the limited draw this deck has, sometimes It dictates you. Instead of the other way around..

I dont get how magmorter is hard to beat it needs 6 energies to OHKO everything in this deck except furret 5 for pidge d who doesnt come active this deck kills its draw and recharge and has weakness going for it. what are people playing in magmorter that I am not???

Maybe you should put in one fighting energy for Electric Decks...

Gardy can play Battle Frontier which makes it so they can use their powers for another turn and that's mostly all they need.

Mag X sniping Pidgeot d is indeed one of the things that makes Mags the more difficult matchup between it and G&G for this deck. The flipside is that Gyarados is a real pain for them even with powers. Both G&G and Mags are GREAT decks right now. IMHO The Answer has a fighting chance agasint both of them ... which is more than a lot of other decks have right now.

I got a T3 2 Magmortar, 1 Typhlosion, 1 Quilava, and 1 Delcatty

... he got a T2 Pidgeot d :(

Then on T6 I could have sniped it but Mag X was my last prize. :(

It all matters on how fast the setup was and how fast they got the Pidgeot d

Even though neither FF nor GL will have an effect other than triggering delta reserve, it is worthwhile to consider what your opponent may think about it. E.g. would they save a Magmortar level X suspecting you would search and drop a grass to heal?
