Have you heard an interesting ruling and said to yourself " Wow. I didn't KNOW that!!?"

or...

Have you found yourself waiting while every opponent you face calls over a judge and asks the same question about one of your cards?

Well...

This is your chance to remind/educate us about a ruling that you think is important while we all gear up for regionals.

1. Do us all a favor and give us a "DID YOU KNOW" rule/ruling.
2. Link us to the ruling in Ask the Rules Team or the Compendium if possible.

(and... please... only post REAL rulings that you think will help people later)

I'll go first,

"Did you know that a Double Colorless Energy only counts as ONE CARD when you're up against Mr. Mime MT?"
http://www.pokegym.net/forums/showthread.php?t=119527&highlight=mime

-- You need 3 or more CARDS attached to attack Mr. Mime, so Sceptile GE won't help you hit 'em any faster either :/

You can only Retreat ONCE per turn. Hence why cards like Warp Point and Switch talk about Switching in stead of Retreating.

Meganium Prime's pokepower doesn't activate Ampharos Prime's pokebody, because it says "Switch" the energy, instead of saying, "Attach".

Even though Claydol (GE)'s comic power states that you have to put up to 2 cards on the bottom of your deck, you have to put at least 1 on the bottom of your deck, even though up to means you could put 0.

when you ues Dusknoir's nightspin attack it meens that I won't take damage from your pokemon unless they have THREE energy attached to them. (senior division >.<)

Unown G doesnlt prevent your OWN effects of an attack. Using that 'Crash Chant' attack from Mismagius? You have to discard it if it is on one of your own Pokemon and you select is as part of the attack.

Also, Unown G does NOT prevent 'damage' done to one of your own Pokemon (for example, Luxray GL Lv.X's 'Flash Impact) and also does not prevent damage sniping attacks from your opponents Pokemon.

If you use baby evolution to evolve MimeJr into Mr.Mime it can no longer be affected by Regice's Regi Move.
This does NOT have anything to do with Mr.Mime's body, but rather the text on Regi Move that states it can only move "Unevolved Pokemon." Mr.Mime now counts as an Evolved Pokemon.

You can't force your opponent to use a randomizer of your choosing. You can only ask a judge if theirs is legal.

Apparently if you use Ambipom G's Tail Code, and move the energy card to a benched Pokemon with Unown G attached, the energy gets discarded.

I like the one where you can announce Download with Porygon 2 [GE], but if your opponent Power Sprays it, you don't have to reveal your card.. so you may not have had a Suppporter at all lol[from NV states].

Really? Our judges said differently, but it was about roast reveal and having a fire energy.

Yeah. If they don't spray and it turns out you have no supporter, you can be called on it for deceitful playing.

Dont try that at Regionals, Nats or Worlds. You WILL have a rude awakening. Trying to bait out a power spray when you cannot pay the cost is deceitful and can be penalized.
