Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

UK "Secret Deck"

is this thread still going on?
dont you guys have anything better to do than whine and throw complaints at each other about who made what decks and bla bla bla?
save it for worlds, this bickering is going no where (hence y i stopped argueing with rainbow and left)

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Maybe PSYCO289 didn't ask Drich why him, a member of his Team M, could have let a GrumpigStall won the France-Italy cup.

do you have any idea how silly that would sounds?

put it this way: it won the same way absolutions won worlds when i had metanite with a 2-1-2 line of scep in it: luck

Not true. You know that. Mukman made that deck, but if he's on Team R (which he's not iirc), k.

And of course EU is behind in archetypes.
Do you expect us to make wonderful archetypes with cards we don't have?

Like Dom said, to say you made an archetype you need to WIN with the deck, or create the exact list that won. Muk Man did neither or those things.

Any Super Stantler that did well was made me Kettler or myself and us two ONLY. We worked with each other exclusively and made bantler and stanchu- both of which were AMAZING in the cities environment.

Kettler also wasn't the only player to realize Flygon ex LM was good. I saw it all over last year in the US for states/regionals. In fact, it was an option for quite a few US worlds players to use and it was discussed.

But you wouldn't have played the deck, if Mukman didn't post/create it...

So what did you (Only you, Ryan) win with it?
1 CC?
2 CCs?
More than that?

I can tell you there were other people who won with too.

Are you saying that Steffen didn't invent the deck he played with?
.

O RLY?

I won nats with SuperStantler (Scizor EX version, schuckle tech).

So i guess we're three?

I went to two CCs total and won one undfeated with it.
The other one I teched in a kingler line (i hate alex for recommending it...) and it lost me a match because I didn't have the extra raichus.

I lost another match on a coin flip for paralysis.

Kettler won 1 or 2 CCs with bantler. We were the first to win with it.

I played vs muk man who used stantler with like... latios, marowak and other jank.

does it matter>
the fact that he tok what was an interesting idea mukman posted and made a winning deck with it is impresive
would he have? who knows, and who cares, he did

Just a little note: Anyone can SAY they made a deck first, if they're a reputable player, the chances are the majority will believe them. There've been cases where I've made a deck that's gone on to be popularized/unleashed by someone else beforehand, would I expect anyone to believe I was the "inventor" of said decks? No, absolutely not, that's the price you pay for not going public, and to be honest it doesn't really bother me either way.

I was making my deck a long time before muk man ever POSTED it. Like I said, he was playing me in apprentice, and I saw ONE of the pokemon he used (out of like 3-4) and liked it, so I made a new deck based aroung stantler and another pokemon who could combo with it- raichu.

It's like someone seeing a pow! hand extension being used in powblock, then making powcham and getting harassed for "copying" the deck of whomever made powblock (aka seena copying ross...).

I don't think you can ever truly pin down one "inventor" of a deck. People work on things, other peoplke work on similar things. The example of Dragtrode is a classic- a very obvious combo that a lot of people noticed and then worked on- myself included. Good cards attract interest from different people.

What I don't understand is why some people clamour over bragging rights for deck inventions. But maybe thats cos I haven't invented any good ones yet! :thumb:

and NO holland is not EU but part of the EU, like Denmark, Norway, France, Italy, Germany are part of it.

Actually, Norway is not part of the EU. However, all decisions made by the EU affect us, to the point where the only difference between us and EU countries is that we don't get to decice anything. >_>

*sits in a lonely corner together with Iceland and Switzerland*

For me Norway is part of the EU continent and to be honest, being part of the Political part of EU didn't bring good things for the avarage/common people.

The whole of Europe is one continent, and by no means is it all in the EU.

Anyhoo. I have a secret deck.

It's just not very good. :frown:
