By the way, I'm quite saddened to see Machamp Prime's 2nd attack is "Strength Buster" rather than "Machamp Buster". That was one of the coolest attack names I'd seen in awhile, oh well!

It's interesting, you could translate it in a few different ways. Kairiki (both the name of Machamp and an actual word in Japanese) means superhuman strength in it's most literal context.

It's one of those instances where both Machamp Buster and Strength Buster work, either way.

(I'd prefer Superhuman Buster given it's a humanoid looking Pokemon anyway ;) )

I guess in the end, the actual attack and its effects matter more than the name anyway  I'm just glad we're getting what appears to be a viable Machamp replacement next year when Stormfront goes. Since we still have Undaunted and Lost Link before this, it'll probably be mid-2011 before we see Machamp Prime.

You do know that given the nature of the Lost Link set and how its only 40-odd cards, odds are this set will mix with Lost Link?

It's possible.

Or, as some are theorizing, Lost Link may never see the light of day outside Japan. I mean, the cards aare so nasty, and lost world in particular is just broken. They may decide that dumb foreigners (Speaking as one) wouldn't know what to do with the cards and would misuse them somehow. ^^ RUINED FORMAT! Every single deck shall be Gengar Prime!

Naw man, Lost Link will come. They need to stall out until BW for our spring set. By splitting between Clash at the Summit and Lost Link I'm sure they can give us two more sets.

Once we get Undaunted, we'll be missing 8 primes: Gengar, Mew, Magnezone, Absol, Machamp, Celebi, Yanmega & Electrode. Considering that we get 6 primes each set and Japan only gets 4, its possible that we'll get 6 of these next set and the remaining 2 will be merged with the 4 from Black/White. That's only if Primes continue beyond Clash of the Summit, though.

And if they don't? Would we break the 6 primes per set rule? Or would they drop 2 primes (Gengar and Mew being most likely) to keep to their pattern?

Anyone else think Rapidash's Pokebody is rather random? I mean, preventing confusion is nice, but wouldn't protecting from burn make more sense?

I sure hope it comes soon. I LOVE the combos that present them selves in that set, not to mention new combos with older cards. Great set for making some really awesome rogues.

They can always find a way to release 2 of them outside the set as promos. Maybe make 2 of 'em tin exclusive, or perhaps make 2 of them starter deck exclusive, Yanmega for grass & Electrode for lightning.... who knows?

Hmm, didn't think about making them promos. ^^; In a way that would not be nice, but I suppose it beats the alternative. Have we had starter deck exclusives before?

I could see them doing something like a TK, but with the Primes. That would be surprisingly amazing.

Since when has there been a predictable number of 'special rares' per set? DP had 3 Lv. Xs, then 3 more, then 2, then 4, then 4 more, and then it became very strange and erratic past MD.
