Has the image for KGL even been given yet? If not, then I think that's some more credibility.

This guy is way best friends with Delcatty PL. I like the spread idea of doing 60+ a turn. Sad to see it with lightning weakness though, particularly because of groudon being part of the legend

200 damage a turn with delcatty PL? Awesome! The only downside is that your milling yourself.

Here's a Groudon/Kyogre mill deck skeleton:

2 complete Groudon/Kyogre
2-2 delcatty PL
2 Chatot G
2-1-2 Gatr prime
4 legend box
4 jude
4 lookers
6 water energy
6 fighting energy.

Just completely destroy your opponents deck and spread while your at it.

It's too bad they've got that horrible weakness to lightning.

Full out attack using that spread attack in a Gatr deck. You'll be milling them regardless, and any potentional spread will be capitalized upon by Gatr PRIME's Hydro Crunch.

btw, why do you need Chatot G when you discard 5 cards? \(o_O)/

I would imagine you would want to look at your opponent deck to see if anything useful would be discarded.
I doubt there will be an occasion where I'll look at the top 4 cards and decide they're so awful that I'd rather let my opponent draw 'em for a few turns than milling + doing 30 bench damage. If your opponent plays cards that are that bad, you probably have the game regardless

I do think Chatot G will be a good basic to include in legend decks so you can do a first-turn Search and Escape for a Legend Box.

^But think about having Looker's and Chatot in hand. You play Chatot and see 0 energy int heir top 4 cards. This lets you know to plya Lookers on them, then you use your attack and hit 3 energy! You just did 90 damage tot he bench when you might've done 0 damage!

The point of KGL isn't the damage, it's the milling. I agree that's great, but if you can use the deckspace to speed up getting out your legend instead, that takes priority.

^Uhhh, can a card not have multiple points? I'd rather mill and do 90 damage to the bench then mill and do 0 tot he bench. Also consider you flip over their top 4 cards and there's nothign of preticular interest, say Lucario GL, Call Energy, Part of a mewtwo counter and an energy gain when you know they play 4 and have only used 1. You decide to lookers them, then hit with your mill and nab a Cyrus, a Lv.X and equally uniportant stuff.

I mean, with this new format, Chatot-ing yourself wouldn't always be useless xD And as stated previosuly, it cans earch out Legend Box which is nice.

Edit: rather then spamming another response post, i'll edit this one. I'd rather do the 90 to the bench and not give them anythign to use that PokeTurn on :thumb:

I would rather not do 90 with one attack while milling.

Tha means I only discarded 2 cards that are not energy rather than discarding like 4 Cyrus and a poketurn.

Well, sure the mill is a huge draw, but the damage is somewhat more important. You're never really in control of what they can play at any given time, so it's always possible for them to surprise KO you before you've gotten a lot of key cards discarded.

And are you people really going to skip on doing 60+ damage to the entire bench just for the ability to discard 5 cards that may or may not be of any use anyway? Remember Rhyperior DP? Discarded 3 cards without even attacking? And could be played multiple times with SSU? How much play has that seen?

The thing with Rhyperior is that he is a one-time use. He has no useful attack to contribute, has a big fat retreat cost and is a stage 2 attack-less benchsitter that requires a LOT of dedicated deck space to keep milling. Then Power Spray hit the scene.
Kyogre/Groudon however only REQUIRES 4 deck slots, the rest is to be filled in however you want it. I myself see options with Feraligatr. Should Jumpluff decline even further, then this might be a rather powerful play.
