What an awful set, I see lik 3 good cards :/

half of this set is weak aainst Luxray, guess well just play with Luxray for the next 2 years =_="

At the same turn he could've just as easily posted that he had seen the set. Also, I shouldn't have to search through somebody else's posts on other threads to bring into context about what he's saying on this thread. If you make a statement or post, you should explain yourself within each and every thread, which he hadn't done here, it's not everybody else's responsibility to keep up to date with everybody's post who posts on a topic. It is however, everybody's responsibility to make clear and understandable posts.

Why bother making the statement if you're not going to back it up at all with any credentials whatsoever? By your logic it would be absolutely fine if anybody started posting that any random card will be in the next set.

TheGeneral, along with about 2-3 other people stated things about this set that others did not know. They were all right. There was a chance they were wrong, and they could've easily tricked us, but they didn't.

I assumed that because his posts seem to be fairly mature and because he has an active role on the Gym, he wouldn't outright lie about the set.

Either way, the set is revealed, so can we please move the conversation to discussion about the set?

I personally agree that there are like 3 playable cards and this is probably the worst set I've seen since I started playing again last year.
 
I disagree, the primes are playable this time around.

Luxchomp is good but something in this set is going to outshine it somehow, someway.
 
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Metagross yet.

The card is just amazing... especially with LA magnetic reversal metagross!
 
Honestly I'm not surprised with how bad this set is. I was expecting to see awesome format Changing cards here but the fact that I don't is not surprising. This is what happens when something that would've hurt our meta appears. They took all the bad cards from each group of cards we haven't seen yet and put them together in one set with a couple ( I use couple very loosely here) good cards (probably 1). What a terrible set, I'm upset I bought a box now.

Like I said kid, I'm done arguing with you ;) I never had to explain myself, nor do I now.

anyways, this set doesn't look good at all. Horrible perhaps. Can't wait for august.

All I'm saying is to make coherent posts, not one's that require references from other threads, that aren't even mentioned in your post. You're absolutely not justified by posting it in another thread. All you had to do was say that you had seen the set in person. The main problem is that the post you made could easily be seen as silly speculation which was expressed in the wrong manner. It wasn't expressed clearly enough. Keep posting like this example, and you will continually receive responses as the ones you got. Even more so when it comes to the particular subject of what's going to be released from the most recent set.

Does it really matter if he was right or wrong with what he said? Is it really that big of a deal?


Anyways, this set makes me disappoint.

If youre jealous that I saw the set and you didn't.....well, keep on talking ;) cuz I don't see why you're the oooonly one complaining I said "vileplume isn't in the set" without my unnecessary reasoning lol. That doesn't make any sense at all, none of those reasons would justify why I keep posting like this. All I'm saying is to post your sources, or credentials, even more so in a more important issue such as this. I couldn't care less if you saw the set before me or not. I only cared if you had seen the set. And the reasoning would not be unnecessary, as obviously seen from the two people that replied to it asking about how in the world you knew this to be true. It is a fact that your lack of evidence caused people to become confused as to how official this was.
