US gas Prices?

Here in Indiana it's crazy low. The lowest I've personally seen was 1.93 and i'm not kidding

OMG. I saw gas today for $2.08 in Hammond, Louisiana, and thought it was AMAZING. Then I came and read a few posts on this thread. Amazing. <2.00 in a lot of places. I'm happy. Very happy.

According to MSN, Champaign IL is seeing 1.97 average with a low of 1.90. I kinda expect prices to stagnate here for a month or less, then rise as Thanksgiving and Xmas hit...

It's all a game.

People started using less gas because the prices were ridiculously high so the oil companies decided to lower the price to increase usage. This is a step back for the USA IMO. People forgot about the detriments associated with using 70% foreign gas as soon as the price decreased. GG oil companies.

Every time I think it's bottomed out, it goes lower.

$1.89 on the Kansas side this afternoon. Missouri is generally 5-7 cents lower.

the oil companies are evil. theyre cutting production to try and get the price to rise. i mean come on. $60 a barrel will still give you plenty of profit. cut us some slack you money grubby oily people.

That's not on the American oil companies...

That's on OPEC...

And I seriously doubt it'll actually happen. OPEC hasn't played nice with each other recently...

I saw 1.84 in Urbana on Monday, but I fully expect to see 1.7X when I hit work on Friday, and something like low 1.7X or high 1.6X when I leave town on Sunday...
