Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

VG: Hazard Leaders

Wouldn't the V rule ensure that Mewtwo V gets 120 damage if any weakness?

Do you mind if I use some of these cards in a fanfiction piece I might be writing?

Sure, go ahead on the fanfiction.

The attack is worded so that it checks the energy cards themselves, not the energy the cards are currently providing.

Here's Paras and Parasect.

Paras - 60 HP - :grass: - Basic

Psyduck art style. Paras is using Stun Spore and a Psyduck is lying on the ground. The Psyduck looks perfectly normal, just turned sideways.
"Mushrooms named tochukaso grow on its back. They grow along with the host Paras."

:grass: Leech Life 10
Heal from this Pokemon the same amount of damage you did to the Defending Pokemon.

:grass::colorless: Spore Slash 10+
Flip 2 coins. If both are heads, this attack does 30 more damage and the Defending Pokemon is now paralyzed.

Weakness x2:fire: Resistance Retreat :colorless: Common

Ken Sugimori art in front of a oilpainting of a dense jungle.
"A mushroom grown larger than the host's body controls Parasect. It scatters poisonous spores."

Whoops, I forgot I had an idea for Parasect I forgot to mention. Sorry, mind if I replace yours with mine?

Parasect [G] - 80 HP - Stage 1

Ken Sugimori art in front of a oilpainting of a dense jungle.
"A mushroom grown larger than the host's body controls Parasect. It scatters poisonous spores."

[G] - Exotic Spore
Flip three coins. If the first coin is heads, the defending Pokemon is now confused. If the second coin is heads, the defending Pokemon is now poisoned. If the third coin is heads, the defending Pokemon is now burned.

[GG] - False Poison - 30x
This attack does 30 damage for each special condition on the defending Pokemon.

[R] x2 - - CC - R

Great, thanks. I'll edit yours in.

MORE CARDS.

Primeape V - [F] - 80HP - Stage 1

Day Care Center - Uncommon
Choose one of your evolved Pokemon. Search your deck for two Basic Pokemon that evolve in to that Pokemon, show them to your opponent, and put them into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.

I think I'll also include Poke, Great, Ultra, and Master Ball.

I tried making a set symbol and posting it to the gallery, but when I tried to link it to here instead of the picture showing up, a line of text did. You can still see it though, if you click here. It'll lead you to my images and you can see it there.

The "K" obviously stands for Kanto and the star things represent entry hazards.

Legendary Birds are go.

Articuno - 100 HP - :water: - Basic

Articuno is flying to the left of the picture, surrounded by an icy aura. The card is illustrated in a style similar to that of 5Ban Graphics, but instead of a hexagonal background, rays of silver light are coming from the right side of the picture.
"A legendary bird Pokémon. It can create blizzards by freezing moisture in the air."

:water::water: Blizzard 40
Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 10 damage to each of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. If tails, this attack does 10 damage to each of your own Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)

:water::water::colorless: Delta Freeze 50+
If Zapdos and Moltres are in play, this attack does 30 more damage and put an energy card attached to the Defending Pokemon in the Lost Zone.

Weakness - Resistance - Retreat :colorless: Rare
Zapdos - 100 HP - :lightning: - Basic

Zapdos is flying to the top of the picture, surrounded by a sparking aura. The card is illustrated in a style similar to that of 5Ban Graphics, but instead of a hexagonal background, rays of silver light are coming from the bottom of the picture.
"A legendary Pokémon that is said to live in thunderclouds. It freely controls lightning bolts."

:lightning::lightning: Thunderbolt 70
Discard all Energy cards attached to this Pokemon in order to use this attack.

:lightning::lightning::colorless: Delta Thunder 50+
If Articuno and Moltres are in play, this attack does 30 more damage and flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed.

Weakness - Resistance - Retreat :colorless: Rare
Moltres - 100 HP - :fire: - Basic

Moltres is flying to the right of the picture, surrounded by a blazing aura. The card is illustrated in a style similar to that of 5Ban Graphics, but instead of a hexagonal background, rays of silver light are coming from the left side of the picture.
"One of the legendary bird Pokémon. It is said that its appearance indicates the coming of spring."

:fire::fire: Dive Bomb 60
Flip a coin. If tails, this attack does nothing.

:fire::fire::colorless: Delta Phoenix 50+
If Articuno and Zapdos are in play, this attack does 30 more damage and the Defending pokemon is now Burned.

Weakness - Resistance - Retreat :colorless: Rare

Nice set symbol, thanks. The Legenday Trio looks great. Could you change Moltres' second attack name to something more firey?

Pokeball - Common
Flip a coin. If heads, search your deck for a Pokemon card, show it to your opponent, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.

Great Ball - Uncommon
You may only play this card if you have a Pokeball in your discard pile. Search your deck for a Pokemon card, show it to your opponent, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.

Ultra Ball - Uncommon
You may only play this card if you have a Great Ball in your discard pile. Search your deck for a Basic Pokemon card and an Evolved Pokemon card, show them to your opponent, and put them into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.

Vitamin - Uncommon
Search your deck for a basic Energy card, and attach it to one of your benched basic Pokemon. Shuffle your deck afterward.

Changed.
I think Pokeball should be a common.
Isn't there already a Great Ball? Look at the top 7 cards of your deck and add a Pokemon there to your hand? (I know that'a the old master ball, but they announced this change)

Yeah, but there was also a different Great Ball before that (search for a basic), so at this point, I think it's as viable as any. I could change it to "Super ball" instead, though. And good idea on the Pokeball common. ONLY 6 MORE TO GO, 3 SUPPORTERS, 3 STARTER "V"S!

Great Ball or Super Ball both work.
I think I'll let you handle the Vs.

Here's a Supporter.
Yellow's Kindness - Trainer - Supporter - Uncommon

Ever read the Pokemon Adventures manga? This shows a picture of Yellow from that series playing with her Pokemon. Search it up if you never read it. Anyway, that is also where the Lorelei and Team Rocket's Grunt references came from.

Supporter Text

Heal 50 damage and all Special Conditions from your Active Pokemon.

So the last two supporters are Red (player character in gen 1) and Blue (see my current Avatar)?

Seems good.

Blue - Supporter - Uncommon

Discard as many cards from your hand as you like. Draw that many cards.

How about this card for Red then,
Red's Comeback -Trainer - Supporter - Uncommon

Of course you know who Red is and what he looks like. He is standing with a Poké Ball just above his hand, like he is throwing it up about a foot and catching it with the same hand.

Supporter Text

Discard your hand. Draw cards until you have 1 more card in your hand than your opponent.

Venusaur V - 160HP - [G] - Stage 2

ABILITY - Sleep Powder
Once during your turn, before you attack, you may use the Ability. Flip a coin. If heads, the defending Pokemon is now asleep.

[GG] - Synthesis
Remove one damage counter from Venusaur V for each Grass type Pokemon on your bench.

[GPC] Sludge Whip - 80

[R] x2 - [W] -20 - CCCC - S
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Charizard V - 130 HP - [R] - Stage 2

ABILITY - Infernal Fury
As long as Charizard has at least 6 damage counters on it, all of Charizard V's attacks do 60 more damage to the defending Pokemon.

[C] - Substitute
Put 3 damage counters on Charizard V. During your opponent's next turn, ignore all affects of attacks including damage, done to Charizard V.

[RRC] - Fire Punch - 80

[W]x2 - [G] -20 - CC - S
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, Blastoise V tomorrow.

Whoops, Ninja'd. Red looks great.

Did you figure out how to playtest this set?
I just noticed the cartridge types seem a bit off. Grass+Lightning is fine, but Water+Psychic and Fire+Fighting seem to be more in line with what was done before. (See Holon Energy GL, WP, and FF.)
Keeping it like this is fine for me though.

it's just that there are more Water and Psychic Pokemon than any other types, so I wanted to seperate them. Besides, that way we can keep the Fossil Pokemon seperate, as I'd like to also have these types represent the imaginary theme decks.

Blastoise V - [W] - 120 HP - Stage 2

ABILITY - Maximum Shell
All damage done to Blastoise is decreased by 20. Ignore all damage that would be dealt to your benched Pokemon.

[CC] - Roar
Choose one of your opponent's benched Pokemon, and switch it with the active Pokemon.

[WWW] - Surf
This attack does 50 damage to each active Pokemon (excluding Blastoise V)

[G] x2 - [R] -20 - CCCC - S

I'm in a bit of a rush right now, so I'll wrap up the set later.

Argh, sorry, didn't see your post, computer wonked on me. I think I'll probably make the Theme Decks, if you don't mind. All we need to do now is compile the setlist in terms of rarity, and then we can start randomly generating packs. I'll go look into playtesting. In addition to what I figure out, feel free to print out spoilers, and playtest with any of your friends that might be interested.
