Remember team play this weekend for thoes willing

For those of us who are interested there will be Team play available for those who want to participate.

This has absolutely "ZERO" impact on the Gym Challenge and all prizes up for grabs in the individual competition. Team play will consist of those players who wish to be associated with a team. There will be 3 team competitions running, 10 and under, 11-14 and 15 and up. The team competition will run during the Swiss Play portion of the tournament, and all scores will be determined from the final swiss results for each age group. Teams must consist of a minimum of 3 members, but there is no maximum limit on team membership. This is strictly for fun, and a way that the Pokemon Leagues can battle it amongst themselves for bragging rights. It is not necessary for a team to be from an Organized League. Individuals are more than welcome to group together and form teams if they so wish.

Players wishing to be part of a team must indicate so on the top of the Deck List form that they turn in when they register for the Gym Challenge. All you need to do is write the name of the team you are in at the top of the form, it is no more complicated than that.

The winning Gym, or team in each age group will get a spiffy certificate showing that they are the winning team and bragging rights all year long until Gym Challenge 2007.

Phoenix Games Gym will be entering 15+ team and 11-14, we are still working on 10 and under and hope to have enough for a team in that age group as well.

Sorry about that but no one "Forced them to win" :):biggrin:

This is just for Fun, I realize that 6-8 top players will be unable to compete in this Saturdays GC,
but we should still be able to have a fun team play with thoes players that are still eligable to
compete.

Hey Flaming Spinich, are we going to see Team Spinich if you can make it up this weekend?
 
Just to let everyone know, I will be bringing my KillerBunnies cards to the tournament. If there is any interest, we could play a game (or two, hopefully two) after the Swiss rounds have concluded.

Yep.

I was able to negotiate a ride at the last minute.

Team Spinach will be there if I can get 1 more person.

Well....

Thanks to the Ball Family, Jeff C, The Nelsons, my son, daughter, Mike P, my nephew Anthony and all the others that help set up the mall location tonight.....It looks great....I hope lots of persons show up tomorrow....
