Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Washington State Gym Challenge June 10, 2006

15+
1st Jim L Lunasol (Mindy's father)
2nd Chris Cl. Flariados
3rd/4th Chris Ca. Storm (Blastoise)
3rd/4th Robert R. Storm
11-14
1st Mindy L Lunasol (2002 10- World Champ)
2nd Bryan K Scizor/Metagross (I think)

Yes, a father-daughter victory with the same deck.
117 people I believe was the final number. 60+ in 15+, 20-30 in the others.

Sadly, Team X-Files only came in 2nd in the team competition to Team Spinach. However, Team X-Files had the 15+ and 11-14 winners.

Jim won!?!

That's crazy.

Anyone know how much practice he had with Lunasol?
Less than a week. Same for his daughter. It's the type of deck you can do that with though.
Anyone know who and from which state 2nd place for 10- was? I need to update the final scores of the OPTWOBFNSNSBN. Not counting that last age division, Washington wins 14-3.

2006 Official Pokemon TCG Washington-Oregon Battle For Northwest Superiority Not Sanctioned By Nintendo (OPTWOBFNSNSBN) final score:
Washington 15
Oregon 3

Washington is champion! :thumb:

...or possibly never!! >:)

Since everyone is worried about Oregon vs Washington in the team thingymabopper, Phillip, Desi, and Henry were on the team that won for 10-.

And thanks to Chris Cl. for letting us Pet sit his 100lb St. Bernard and his other wonderful big dog. Bo had lots of fun playing with new friends. See you guys in July for the Water Gym.

15-3, most lopsided victory for washington ever. Oregon needs to start acting like a team so they can actually get a few tourney wins.

I heard all about Keyvan. I threw cards into it. Best part is, his mom needs the vacation since she's like, all overworked n' stuff. congrats to everyone who played.

of all the 8 or canadians who went, nearly all of them were in the semi's. Them Igloo-ians are getting pretty tough.

And Jim? You ever find yourself across the border again, I want a rematch.

Maybe 'cause there's only like, 4...maybe 5 good players in Oregon? And 2 of them judge every single major tournament? Maybe that's the reason Oregon sucks as a whole?

OREGON SUCKS!!!! There is only ONE good player in Oregon. Not 4 or 5.

We all know who he is.

Right as we speek, he is sitting in his ivery (sp?) tower having his peons entertain him.

Since it seams that Washington domitates the OPTWOBFNSNSBN so badly, why not throw BC in there and call it Official Pokemon TCG Washington-Oregon-British Columbia Battle For Northwest Superiority Not Sanctioned By Nintendo or OPTWOBCBNSNSBN. I think that would be a pretty cool idea.
