Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

WEREWOLF XV: Pokemon Wars: GAME END: TOWN WINS!!!!! See Post 2547 for Final Update!

Ok, here's what's going on. I have no internet right now. I'm typing this on my dad's phone. However I saved all the PMs to an SD card to put them on my computer. I am typing the update now. I will send results and post the update either tonight or tomarrow morning. I do apologize for these delays. Ulti is right for the most part. I've had a couple of day updates on time lately, but for the most part, I have found that time becomes a precious commodity when you have less of it and choosing how to spend it can be a terrible ordeal. I do apologize for this. I understand i made a commitment, and just as I ask all players to only play if they are willing to commit, I should be holding myself to the same standard. I am sorry, there really isn't an excuse for this magnitude of delay, esspecially at how often its been. If you look at my last two games, I never had this much probem with updates. It is becoming apparent tht as you get older, the days seems to have less time and the hours matter more. I want to finish the game strong, so I will make a real effort to not have any more of these large delays for the rest of the game. I know Ive made this prmise before, but I really do feel bad. YOu guys have been great this game, and I should do a better job keeping up with the game. Thank you so much for sticking around and bearing with me. Once again I am sorry.

I'm back, I have internet again, standby for update. I need to run a few things through the randomizer (which is online) and then finish up and proof-read the update. Those of you waiting on PM replies from me, you'll get them. All will be done in the next 3 hours at most, but probably sooner. Thanks

As fewer and fewer people remained alive aboard the Imperial Glory, the nights became less and less busy, but not any less dangerous. With the Hanger and Laboratory being the only two remaining rooms, choices were limited. The ship’s message about “Sector 2” had turning choosing a place to be that night into a game of chance, and someone was going to lose.

In the laboratory, a woman in a black jacket, with long blonde hair entered. She got straight to business, knowing time was short. She unclipped a Pokeball, and expanded it. She opened it with one hand and a Spirtomb materialized in a flash of red light. The Spirtomb immediately went to work; it went to a corner, found something shiny and broke it, preventing anyone from using it. Spiritomb then hovered about in the shadows, waiting for anyone else to prompt its actions. The woman meanwhile, watching from a separate hiding spot on the other side of the room. Also in the room, a man leaned against the wall, checking his weapon’s charge, waiting for a chance to use it. Another man was also in the room, but he was invisible to all. He wore active camouflage, and was waiting for someone, someone specific to enter the room. Someone did indeed enter the room, but did not provoke a reaction from the camouflaged man. The newcomer was decked in white armor. A red shoulder guard and a red stripe down the center confirmed it to be elite shock trooper armor, the kind worn by only the most elite troopers in the Empire. The Imperial carried two blasters, one with an elongated barrel that pulsed a blue light up and down the barrel. He had wrist attachments, and jump-jet attached to his back. The armor was not unlike that of the Mandalorians, but the Imperial symbols that covered it proved its allegiance otherwise. The Imperial spoke, his voice amplified through a speaker in his helmet that echoed throughout the room.

“Pokémon Master Cynthia, come out and surrender, if you resist, you will be met with extreme force!”

The laboratory was silent for a moment. Footsteps, the sound of high heel shoes, interrupted the silence as Cynthia, Elite 4 Champion, and Pokémon Master walked over to confront the Imperial.

“Here I am, Imperial. I don’t run from a fight.”

The Imperial moved in a motion similar to tilting his head, though it was hard to tell with the massive armor he wore, “Clearly, you don’t, but running to your death is hardly any better I would assume.”

Spirtomb hovered to Cynthia’s side. Cynthia’s hand’s fell to her waist and she grabbed four of her five remaining Pokeballs and dropped them to the ground. They activated. A Lucario, a Togekiss, a Garchomp, and a Rosarade appeared beside her. Cynthia threw her neck from side to side, popping it casually. She glared at the Imperial. “It’s you who dies today.”

At her unspoken command, Garchomp charged the imperial. The land shark Pokémon folded his wing arms under him and increased his velocity. The Imperial put his foot forward, widening his stance and held his arms out. He caught the charging dragon Pokémon with both hands and held his ground as servos and mechanics in the suite powered his strength. The Imperial moved to the side and released the Pokémon who kept moving until he hit the wall. The impact knocked the dragon Pokémon out. The Imperial turned and aimed one of his blasters at the downed dragon. His attack was interrupted by a swift kick to his back. Lucario followed the blow with a punch to the kidney and an agility that put the Lucario adjacent to the Imperial. Seconds later, an Aura Sphere burst sent the Imperial sideways. The Imperial hit the wall, but didn’t fall. He turned to face the still attacking Lucario and activated two large red translucent disks on his arms. He moved the shields to intercept Lucario’s attacks, preventing them from contacting. A screech from above him caused the Imperial to look up to see a Togekiss up at the ceiling. The flying Pokémon dove with an Aerial Ace attack. The distraction allowed the Lucario to get a kick in between the shields directly to the Imperial’s stomach. The Imperial doubled over, but simultaneously grabbed the Lucario’s leg. The Imperial lifted and threw the fighting Pokémon at the Togekiss, intercepting the Arial ace and causing the Lucario to take the brunt of flying attack, causing massive damage. The Lucario, beaten, but not knocked out, landed on is feet as the Togekiss recovered from the shock of hitting a teammate. The Lucario charged the Imperial again. The Imperial readied himself to defend against the attack, but the Lucario jumped to his left at the last moment. Rosarade was running directly behind Lucario. The Poison Pokémon lunged at the Imperial and emitted a corrosive poison that caused a small hole to erode in the armor at the chest. The Rosarade began to thrust stun spores into the hole. The Imperial realized what was happening and threw off the Rosarade. He felt his body began to paralyze, his muscles tighten. A needle sprouted from one of his wrist placements, and he injected himself directly where the hole was. It was a Full Heal that neutralized most special conditions a Pokémon could inflict. The Rosarade was a frailer Pokémon then the others and hit the ground hard. The Imperial turned to the grass Pokémon and bent his wrist down with his arm raised. Fire spewed from the flamethrower on his wrist and engulfed the poor grass Pokémon. It didn’t stand a chance. Rosarade was incinerated. Before the Imperial could applaud himself, the Lucario returned and landed on his back. It began to pummel his helmet, attempting to knock it off. The Imperial reached up and put the barrel of one of the blaster to the Lucario. He pulled, but the Lucario used detect to dodge the blast and shatter the blaster with an Aura powered blast. The Imperial elbowed the Lucario who fell back in a quick retreat. The Imperial then spotted Cynthia standing a ways away, the Spirtomb had not left her side. He realized she was using the Ghost Pokémon’s Psychic powers to mentally command and communicate with her Pokémon. He reached out with his other blaster, the one with the blue lighted barrel and shot. Cynthia jumped out of the way, but the shot was not aimed at her. The blue beam that sped out of the weapon hit the small rock base of Spirtomb, shattering it. The Ghost Pokémon disappeared into nothingness as its only tie to this dimension was cut. Cynthia’s mental communication cut, she returned to verbal commands.

“Lucario, Togekiss, flank him, dual Aura Sphere attacks!”

The Lucario charged a blue blast and launched it at the Imperial. The Togekiss, hovering in the air did the same. The two blasts hit the Imperial on either side, exploding simultaneously. The explosion created a lot of smoke and for a moment nothing happened. Then a whip-cord wire shot out of the smoke and wrapped around Togekiss. The flying Pokémon was ripped out of the sky and pulled into the smoke. A resounding ‘crack’ was the end to its cries of terror. The smoke cleared and showed Togekiss’s lifeless body at the feet of the Imperial. The Imperial however did not fare well either. His armor’s white heavy outer layer was completely gone, leaving only the under layer of black, lighter more flexible armor exposed. The Imperial still had a couple of wrist attachments, his helmet and his jump-jet attached to him, but for the most part, his main armor was pulverized. The Lucario, covered in injuries charged to assault the Imperial. The Imperial activated his jump-jet and quickly boosted over the enraged Pokémon. He landed behind it, pulled out a small hold-out blaster and fired. The laser struck the Lucario in the chest. Lucario disappeared in a burst of speed, reappeared in front of the Imperial and brought a kick from the side to the Imperial’s head. The Imperial fell to the side. The Imperial reached out to grab the Lucario, but Lucario kicked him in the stomach. The Imperial reached over his shoulder and unhooked something. He rolled over onto his stomach, faced the Lucario and activated his jump-jet. The jetpack shot forward off the Imperial’s back and hit the Lucario with enough force to lift him off his feet. The Pokémon was thrown to his back. The Imperial got up, picked up his blaster and fired several more times, finishing the Pokémon. The Imperial now turned his attention to Cynthia. Cynthia’s face betrayed no emotion, but the death of her Pokémon hit her hard. She reached behind her, to the small of her back and pulled out a silver cylinder. A Lightsaber. She ignited it, and its red blade shot upwards with a snap-hiss

“You’ll pay for this!” she hissed.

The Imperial laughed at the threat, “That’s Darth Pikachu’s blade isn’t it? I’d recognized it anywhere. Where did you get that? Nice try, but you don’t know how to use that thing. I’m not a Jedi, it won’t be much good against me. “

The Imperial turned around, putting his back to Cynthia. He pulled a frag grenade from one of his pouches and tossed it at the still unmoving Garchomp. Cynthia screamed in anger as the explosion killed the defenseless Pokémon and she charged the Imperial, flailing her blade. The Imperial dodged it with fluid motions that showed obvious training at avoiding such weapons. The Imperial weaved and ducked out of the way of Cynthia’s reckless attacks. A upward sweep managed to knick his chest, and the Imperial grunted in pain, but the attack did little then breach the armor and skin. The Imperial stopped to clutch his wound and Cynthia moved in for the kill. She held the Lightsaber above her head with both hands and brought it down. The Imperial grabbed her wrist and threw her to the ground. She dropped the blade. The Imperial reached over, still keeping Cynthia pinned to the ground, and picked up the Lightsaber. He ignited it and plunged it into Cynthia, killing her instantly. He quickly left the scene, Cynthia’s lifeless body lay motionless, the still lit Lightsaber standing upward in her back. The other two men had watched the fight with shock and awe. They began to approach the body when a female voice echoed over the loud-speaker.

“WARNING! WARNING! Atmospheric damage critical. Sector vent imminent!”

A portion of the bulkhead exploded, exposing the cold blackness of space and sucking the air out. One of the men managed to get out of the laboratory before he was sucked out into space. The other was not so lucky. The blast-doors automatically sealed the entrance to the laboratory off after sensing the hull breach. No one was going back into the laboratory.

In the hanger, the people going about there business and advancing their own agendas had no idea what had happened. Tww men were meditating, but on different things. One sat atop some debris, facing the blue transparent shield that separated the hanger from space. The other sat into the corner, watching something distant. A red and blue Pokémon was standing around when it suddenly perked up, looked around, its eyes glowed blue, and it disappeared an instant later. A man in heavy armor, with a large weapon walked around, he looked bored, but no one dared to get close enough to find out. Another man was also just standing around, seemingly minding his own business when he was approached by a yellow Pokémon. The Pokémon wasted no time with introduction and proceeded to shock the man with a powerful electrical attack. The man collapsed in a heap but appeared unharmed. Another man watched these events unfold, but did not intervene.

The next day, some very obvious things were noticed. First off the Laboratory was no longer accessible. This meant that the Hanger was the only remaining area of the ship left. Also it was obvious by a simple roster check that Napoleon and Pikajew1213 were no longer among the living. Their bodies had been sucked into space, but some surveillance footage from the emergency revealed who they were.

Napoleon - Cynthia: Pokémon Master

You are the Pokémon Master Cynthia, Champion of the Elite 4 in Sinnoh, Pokémon Master. Having such powerful Pokémon, you were an obviously early target for the Empire who managed to steal your Pokémon. Promising to ally the Elite Four’s resources and manpower to the Rebel Alliance, you were able to join them on a mission to beat the Empire. Now you have found yourself trapped on the Imperial Glory. You did however, retrieve your Pokémon from the ship’s laboratory before any harm befell your Pokémon. Unfortunately the ship is now in lockdown, which means you’ll need to fight to survive. Now your goal is to return the favor to the Rebel Alliance by helping them defeat the Empire. Your six Pokémon are your greatest resources in this task.

ROLE: I Choose You!
You’re Pokémon are your greatest tool. You may use any one of your Pokémon Each night. Each one has a different ability. What those abilities are, you’ll have to figure out on your own. However there are (3) catches.

A) Each Pokémon must be used at least once before you may use a Pokémon for the second time. You may use them in ANY ORDER you want

B) There is another Trainer out there. Your Rival. If your rival releases a Pokémon in the same area, you are acting in, the two Pokémon will battle, and only one role will succeed.

C) If you use your role on a Pokémon, or a Pokémon uses their role on you, then there is a chance that your Pokémon will battle it, and only one role will succeed.

Pokémon:
1: Spirtomb
2. Rosarade
3. Togekiss
4. Lucario
5. XXXXXXXX
6. Garchomp

Win Condition: Town Wins

Pikajew1213 - Republic Trooper

You are a Republic Trooper part of the task force sent to attack the ship and thwart the Galactic Empire’s Scheme. Unfortunately, you were ambushed by the enemy and when everything started to fall apart, you lost your entire platoon. Now you are alone and although you still want the town to win, you are paranoid of every noise and fearful of what will happen next. Your only friend if your weapon.

ROLE: Last Stand
As a solider you always keep your weapon loaded. You are down to your last clip, and you are going to make it count. Once during the game, when you die (even if you are lynched), you will pull out your blaster and take aim at the closest person to you, or last person who voted for you and fire. You have a 90% chance of taking them with you when you go down.

Each Night you will PM me with what area you want to hang out in for the night.

Win Condition: Town Wins

A lone Pokeball was in the Hanger. Anyone can claim the Pokeball. Anyone may PM me; DO NOT POST. First person to PM me will get it. Also in the Hanger was an A280 Blaster Rifle. Anyone may PM me; DO NOT POST. First person to PM me will get it. YOU CANNOT CLAIM BOTH ITEMS, PMs claiming both items will be ignored Time was quickly running out and the next few moves would be critical. Who would be lynched today? Would the Rebels survive?

BEGIN DAY 12
Players Remaining: 8
Votes to Lynch: 5
Day 12 ends: Saturday, March 24th 2012 @ 11:59 PM

Good Luck

Ok, slight issue guys. It seems dragonclyne is really lance. I got a description of him carrying pokeballs and having red hair, as well as other details that fit lance. However, in my description, he still has pokemon, yet does nothing with them, meaning dragonclyne was lying about losing his pokeballs.
Vote: Dragonclyne
Hopefully this lynch will win us the game for real.

Hopefully this lynch will win us the game for real.

Unfortunately, my role has given me evidence that Dragonclyne was NOT in the Labratory, and therefore could not be the imperial that killed Cynthia...

Feeling lucky to be alive, since I was in the Labratory....

Players Remaining: 8
15. PokeChampofPokeBeach -- Wobbu-Fett
21. Sandslash7 -- Ezio
28. Dragonclyne725 -- Lance
32. Thunderjolt -- Deoxys
34. Cardzmaster2004 -- Meditating Man
37. King Piplup -- Special Forces
39. JewelQuest -- Jolteon
41. Scottistru

Only two from the laboratory made it out alive: King Piplup and the last remaining imperial. Due to information given to us from King Piplup's role, we know that the last imperial is not, surprisingly, Dragonclyne, due to the fact that he was in the Hanger. From process of elimination, the following players cannot possibly have been in the laboratory: Myself, Sandslash7, Dragonclyne, Thunderjolt, Cardzmaster, Jewelquest. Which leaves us with the last player remaining in the game:

Scottistru.

If you do not believe me, check the update.

In the hanger, the people going about there business and advancing their own agendas had no idea what had happened. Tww men were meditating, but on different things. One sat atop some debris, facing the blue transparent shield that separated the hanger from space Sandslash7. The other sat into the corner, watching something distant Cardzmaster. A red and blue Pokémon was standing around when it suddenly perked up, looked around, its eyes glowed blue, and it disappeared an instant later Thunderjolt. A man in heavy armor, with a large weapon walked around, he looked bored, but no one dared to get close enough to find out PokeChampofPokeBeach. Another man was also just standing around, seemingly minding his own business when he was approached by a yellow Pokémon Jewelquest. The Pokémon wasted no time with introduction and proceeded to shock the man with a powerful electrical attack. The man collapsed in a heap but appeared unharmed. Another man watched these events unfold, but did not intervene.

There are only two men left in the update with no description. I believe one of them to be Dragonclyne.

As far as I can tell, there can be no other conclusion. Only Dragonclyne and King Piplup cannot be exactly pegged in the update, but it is unlikely that either of them are the last imperial. We know that King Piplup was in the laboratory, as the update confirms his presence. Therefore, he cannot be the imperial. We know he is not an imperial, and therefore we have no reason to doubt his word that Dragoncylne was not in the laboratory.

The only player left without an alibi is Scottistru. Therefore, he is logically the last remaining Imperial.

Here's what you will do next: you will lynch Scottistru. Then a night phase will be triggered. It doesn't matter what happens in the night. There are no kill roles left (as far as I know). Then the next day will begin (I think we have time for one more day... if we don't, then the game is already over. You will lynch me. I am an independent-aligned player. The game will not end until I am also lynched.

If any of you doubt the truths I have spoken here, feel free to lynch me first. As far as I know, it will not matter in which order you lynch us in. In any event, providing the ship doesn't completely explode first, you have won.

Congratulations to the town! :thumb:

Woops, I just learned that my role works a little bit differently than I thought it did. I am actually a total copy/paste from "Cyrus's Revenge" (Sandslash7 should know what I am talking about; it was his role last time). My lynch is not necessary for the game to end. If we lynch Scottistru, the game is over... we win.

Vote: Scottistru

At this point, I don't know what to say to that, except that I think AT must have made a mistake, because I followed dragonclyne, but don't show up in the update. However, in your analysis, you leave out the man who got shocked. which very well might be me. I need a couple of questions answered first.
SS7: Do you agree with pokechamp? Do you still believe me to be the datapad man?
Dragonclyne: What do you have to say for yourself for lying about having pokeballs?
PMing AT now...
If AT says their is no mistake, I think the only logical explanation, the most likely one at this point. is that dragonclyne swapped identities with Diaz, who was Lance, and somehow messes with seer like roles. In fact, I'm almost sure of it at this point. I'll respond in more detail once I get some answers.

^In my short amount of current time, I'll post to say your theory of Dragonclyne screwing up roles may be true, but my role failed last night, proving Dragonclyne to have not been in the Labratory.

Dragonclyne cannot have swapped identities, he was in the hangar for the night. This comes from King Piplup, who has been confirmed to be in the laboratory from his own admission (unless someone counter-claims it, which I don't think will happen) and if you look closely his presence is reflected in the update. He cannot be the imperial.

There were four people in the laboratory during the night: Napoleon, Pikajew, King Piplup, and, if my theory is correct (which I am 99.9% sure that it is) yourself.

If you weren't in the laboratory for the night... then who was? It cannot be Dragonclyne.

I targeted DragonClyne725 last night.

I agree that Scott is probably the last Imperial, but I'd like to know why the Sith are silent..I thought that they were still alive, or was gallade the last one?

I still wish Cardz would talk a bit more....

So Scottistru, for all we know, could not have been the man that was shocked.

As far as I know, the sith are no more. The tattoos have disappeared and there was no sith activity during the night. I find it highly unlikely that they are still present among us.

Sith are dead, I was in the Labratory. This is PROVEN by the language regarding my failure to find a target, yet again...

Ah ok, missed that, thanks. So therefore, all we have to worry about is lynching the final imperial. Even with my point aside (which is enough in my mind to warrant his lynch), also keep in mind the conflicting information between him and King Piplup and his sad attempt at claiming to be the shocked guy (dragonclyne).
