Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

WEREWOLF XV: Pokemon Wars: GAME END: TOWN WINS!!!!! See Post 2547 for Final Update!

1. Excellent comic. I am now up to Episode IV (though I'd read the vast majority months ago before getting side-tracked)

2. Bump

Sorry guys, I have been working on it. It's a long process and this particular event was one I had planned since the beginning of the game, so bear with me.

I also had an emergancy project crop up with my ROTC unit, everyone's parent's came in in somehow it became my job to make a Parent's Weekend Slideshow in less then 24 hours.

Anyways, that aside, I want to say I'll finish tonight. The bulk of what I'm doing it done, and I'm down to the last few pages or so.

I'll end with what I said before.
It will be worth it.

Dragonclyne725: 5 Sandslash7, Scottistru, Cardzmaster2004, PokeChampofPokeBeach, JewelQuest

The remaining inhabitants of the Imperial Glory were scattered about the Hanger, the only remaining area of the ship not destroyed or compromised. It had been almost two weeks since the nightmare had started and the Rebels had battled it out with the Empire and the Sith in a fight for survival. As Day 12 neared it’s end, Sandslash7 piled on the evidence against Dragonclyne725 cementing his case against the accused. Dragonclyne725 had been accused of being the last remaining Imperial and of stealing the identity of Diaz who had been one of the first people to die on the Imperial Glory Unable to produce a good counter against Sandslash7, Dragonclyne725’s fate was sealed as the day cycle ended. Sandslash7 stood in front of Dragonclyne725 who sat on the ground, his back against some metal debris.

“You are the last Imperial. You murdered Diaz and stole his identity. The oppression of the Empire ends today!” commanded Sandslash7

The accused man, a normal sized human, rose and began to slowly clap. He addressed Sandslash7.

“I’m impressed assassin. I did not expect you to figure out who I was. Indeed, I am the final Imperial. I needed but one more night to achieve victory. It appears however that due to your meddling, I will have to accelerate my plans.”

Sandslash7 closed his hand into a fist, a cracking noise coming from his popping joints, “The only thing you are going to do, if accelerate to an early grave.”

Dragonclyne725 smirked, “Oh I don’t think so, assassin.”

The Imperial pulled out two round object from his pocket. Thermal detonators, extremely powerful grenades capable of massive destruction. Dragonclyne725 backed up until he was a few feet away from the Imperial Lambda Shuttle, the only functional ship and way off the Imperial Glory .

“Here’s what’s going to happen,” demanded Dragonclyne725, grenades still in his hand. “I want safe passage off this doomed ship as much as all of you do. You take me with you, you drop me off on a planet of my choosing. Refuse and I detonate these grenades. I’ll die, but I’ll take out your only escape with me. The orbit of the Imperial Glory is slowly decaying. Before too long, the ship will begin to descend to the planet below. None of you will survive that. If any of you try to make a move while I am on the shuttle, I will blow us up in midflight. If I’m going down, I will gladly take all of you Rebel scum with me. If however, you do as I say, we can all leave here unharmed.”

Sandslash7 stood still. He was too far away to attempt an attack on Dragonclyne725 and in no position to make demands.

“I--” he started.

He was interrupted before he could finish as a red and blue blur sped between him and Dragonclyne725. The blur stopped and became clear. The Deoxys, thunderjolt stood before them, in his hands were the two grenades that only moments before were in the possession of the Imperial.

“No deal, “spoke thunderjolt

Dragonclyne725 growled and turned to run, but instead came face to face with two loaded pistols. Scottistru and King Piplup stood before him, weapons aimed at his head. Behind him, he heard the crackling of electricity as JewelQuest, the Jolteon, flanked him from the rear. Finally an old man, with a long grey beard, and wearing a brown robe, come up on the Imperial’s right. In his hand was an ignited blue Lightsaber.

The elder man, Cardzmaster2004 addressed the Imperial Dragonclyne725, “I believe it is you, who would be wise to cooperate with us.”

Dragonclyne725 looked around him, surrounded on all fronts, for a way to escape. He saw PokeChampofPokeBeach standing a ways away and called for him. “Wobba Fett, I shall hire you to assist me. I will pay quadruple your normal fee!”

Wobba Fett considered the request, but turned it down, “Sorry, I think I’ll just watch and enjoy the show tonight.”

Sandslash7 now approached the cornered Imperial, a thin blade sliding down from a hidden sheath on his wrist. “The oppression of the Empire ends today.”

Dragonclyne727’s eyes narrowed, and his voice became rasp and dark, “Humans, you know not what you are dealing with. There are forces beyond your comprehension at work.”

The Imperial’s eyes glowed blue and he shouted out “Psychic!”

The people and Pokémon surrounding him were flung backwards by the telekinetic attack. All were surprised and thinking the same thing that Scottistru expressed aloud, “How did he do that? That’s a Pokémon move!”

Dragonclyne725 did not answer, but instead ran to a seemingly indistinct wall. He slammed his fist on the wall, and turned to face his surprised enemies who were just now recovering from his surprise attack. The wall began to shift, and panels moved out of the way exposing robotic arms and machine parts. The contraption began to move, quickly grafting parts to the Imperial’s body. Within moments, Dragonclyne725 was covered in multi-colored square plates of armor ranging from a fiery red, to a watery blue, a grassy green and every color in between. The individual plates morphed and folded around the Imperial, molding to fit his body and creating a body suit of colored armored plates.

Dragonclyne725 spoke, his voice still raspy and low “Humans, your Rebel Alliance has failed. As too have my servants. I will deal with you personally.” He looked at JewelQuest and thunderjolt “And you two. You have betrayed your origins, and thrown yourself in with these sub-creatures. You will die slowly and painfully for your betrayal!”

King Piplup shouted at Dragonclyne725, “ What are you talking about. YOU are a human, you’re crazy!”

“You dare to call me such filth! I am a god! I am eternal. BURN!” cried out Dragonclyne725. The red plate on his chest glowed bright and fire spewed out of both of the palms of his hands.

The flamethrower attack sped towards King Piplup. Sandslash7 tackled King Piplup knocking him out of the way of the attack. Dragonclyne725 roared in anger. The red plated dimmed and a pink plate on his thigh began to glow. Dragonclyne’s eyes glowed blue and Sandslash7 and King Piplup were raised off the ground. Scottistru raised his pistol and opened fire on Dragonclyne725. The pink plate ceased to glow and a silver plate glowed on his right arm. Dragonclyne725 was encased in a steel covering. The bullets from Scottistru’s weapon bounced off the full body shield. JewelQuest screeched a battle cry and a large yellow bolt of lighting shot from her body. The silver plate stopped glowing and the steel covering faded, simultaneously to be replaced by full rock covering as a brown plate started glowing on Dragonclyne725’s stomach. The electric attack had no effect. thunderjolt’s eyes glowed blue as he assaulted Dragonclyne725 with a psychic attack. The attack however had no effect due to the black plate glowing on Dragonclyne725’s left arm and coating him an a dark aura. Sandslash7 charged Dragonclyne, blades in each of his hands. The black plates stopped glowing and was replaced by a glowing pale red-orange plate. Dragonclyne725’s entire body bulked up with huge muscles. As Sandslash7 reached him, Dragonclyne725 reached out and grabbed both blades and squeezed, shattering them with sheer strength. He then picked up and threw Sandslash7 who soared across the hanger until he hit the wall, hard. He was shaking as he tried to stand up again.

Dragonclyne725 spoke, still in the raspy low voice, “You cannot hope to stand against me. Your efforts are futile, your attempts in vain. You are nothing. The human race will fall by my hand!”

A yellow plate glowed on his leg. Electricity sparked over his body, and Dragonclyne725 turned to Cardzaster2004 and launched a thunderbolt at him. Cardzmaster2004 jumped out of the way, avoiding the attack. He jumped at Dragonclyne725 and swung with his Lightsaber. A purple-grey plate glowed, and Dragonclyne725’s body became intangible. The blade passed right through him, not doing any damaged. Dragonclyne725 moved forward, phasing directly through Cardzmaster2004.

Still intangible, he addressed PokeChampofPokeBeach who was clad in green and blue armor, with a jetpack on his back, “Wobba Fett, you have renounced your Pokémon origins. I gave you a chance at redemption, but you refused. For that, you must die!”

Dragonclyne725 rematerialized in solid form as the purple-grey plate stopped glowing. A maroon plate glowed, and claws protruded from Dragonclyne725’s hands. He charged Wobba Fett with incredible Dragon like speed and sliced with razor sharp claws. He missed. PokeChampofPokeBeach jumped and ignited his jetpack, boosting up several more feet before hovering in the air. Dragonclyne725’s plates switched colors again and now a light blue plate glowed. Dragonclyne725 rose into the air and rammed Wobba Fett. PokeChampofPokeBeach faltered, but did not fall. He raised his rifled and shot. The light blue plate abruptly stopped glowing and Dragonclyne725 fell to the ground, dodging the initial laser barrage. Wobba Fett took aim again, but a pale blue plate began to glow, and Dragonclyne725 was crystallized in ice. The laser blast diffused and diffracted in to the crystals and had no effect. The pale blue plate stopped glowing and Dragonclyne725 taunted his enemy’s unsuccessful attempts to attack him, his voice still raspy and low.

“You have failed. You cannot hope to beat me humans. I am perfection. I am the end of evolution, the apex of creation!”

“You’re mad!” countered Scottistru

Scottistru loaded another magazine into him pistol and fired again. The silver plate glowed, and the bullets bounced off Dragonclyne725. Following his lead, the Jolteon, JewelQuest let off a stream of electricity at Dragonclyne725. A brown plated glowed, and scattered parts of his already covered in steel body become rock. Dragonclyne725 grunted in pain and dropped to one knee. Jolteon and Scottistru continued to attack, but despite his visual pain, appeared to be doing no damage to Dragonclyne725.

“ENOUGH!” screamed Dragonclyne725. Both the silver and brown plates stopped glowing, and the pink plate glowed again, as did Dragonclyne725’s eyes. He telekinetically blasted JewelQuest and Scottistru and threw them off their feet. The damage was done however, and the silver plate had a crack running down it’s center.

Sandslash7 called out, “He can only use one plate at a time, everyone attack him at once. Overwhelm him!”

Sandslash7 pulled a sword from his hilt and charged Dragonclyne725. Cardzmaster2004 joined him with his blue Lightsaber blade. PokeChampofPokeBeach raised his rifle and opened fire. Scottistru and King Piplup raised their pistols and shot. JewelQuest unleashed one electrical attack after another, and thunderjolt’s eyes glowed blue as he subjugated Dragonclyne725 to a powerful psychic attack. Almost every plate on Dragonclyne725 began to glow as he was coated in rock and steal, surrounded in dark aura, partly intangible, partly crystallized in ice. His limbs were disproportionately muscular, and fire and water spewed from his hands. Under the strain of trying to counter the simultaneous attacks, the plates started to flicker in their glowing.

Dragonclyne725 screamed in anger and pain, staggering backwards and trying as hard as he could to withstand the onslaught. Bullets pinged his body. The Lightsaber and sword hacked at his plates, and the strain of electrical and psychic attacks, pulled at his armor. Sandslash7 struck at the silver plate, and it shattered into several piece, detaching it self and falling off Dragonclyne725 body. The silver coat that blanketed him dissipated and disappeared. The bullets from Scottistru and King Piplup now had an effect, and a green, and pale green, as well as the brown plate shattered and fell off as the .45 caliber rounds pounded the armor. The rock coating disappeared, and Dragonclyne725 felt the brunt of the electrical attacks from JewelQuest which caused his black plate to break and fall off. Now removed of his dark abilities, he was susceptible to thunderjolt psychic attack and was lifted off the ground and thrown against the wall, hard. He collapsed and lay motionless. The barrage of attacks stopped, and Sandslash7 walked over to Dragonclyne725 to investigate. None of the plates were glowing anymore, and the few remaining plates began to crumble and crack. Dragonclyne725 moaned in pain. He growled in anger and his eyes darted from person to person, but was clearly unable to move. The wall where thunderjolt had thrown Dragonclyne was cracked. Behind it was a bright orange and yellow light. There was no known room behind that wall, and everyone was surprised that any light would be coming from it.

“Doooooo NOT oopen zhat!” Dragonclyne725 demanded in voice that sounded like a damaged electronic. He head fell and his body went limp.

Sandslash7 looked at Dragonclyne725, then at the other Rebels, then back at the wall. He took his sword and pried open the crack, peeling back the metal bulkhead. It creaked and strained, but was not very strong. Behind the wall was a single small room. There was a round table with a yellow grid top. It was a hologram projector, a communications table. On top of the table, materialized in hologram form, was a four legged-creature with a dark face.

Everyone funneled into the room to investigate. Everyone looked, but no one spoke.

Sandslash7 was the first to speak, “What are you?”

The creature on the hologram spoke. It spoke in the same raspy low voice that Dragoncylne725 had begun using during the fight. “Bow down in awe human. I am Arceus, god of Pokémon, perfection in physical form.”

“That voice,” inquired King Piplup, “it’s the same one that Dragonclyne725 spoke in.”

Arceus nodded, “Yes, he was weak, and degraded much faster then the others. My influence began to show sooner then I expected.”

King Piplup was confused, “What are talking about? What others?”

Arceus responded without moving, “The Empire.”

“Wait a minute, you controlled the Empire? You were the one attacking us this entire time?” queried Sandslash7
Arceus responded with no emotion, “Correct.”

“Explain,” demanded Scottistru, “none of this makes sense. The Empire wanted to rule the galaxy. It was headed by a Sith Lord, Palpatine. Dragonclyne725 spoke of killing humans. He spoke as if he wasn’t a human. What about Cyrus and the Sith cult, did you have a role in that as well?”

Arceus turned to face Scottistru, “The one you call Cyrus released me from my prison on Earth by using the power of Dialga and Palkia. He took me to the one know as the Emperor. The Emperor showed me a power called the Dark Side. He explained that Pokémon are affluent with the Force. He sought to control me, to steal my power. However it was I who controlled him. Cyrus knew this and sought an alliance. He was not to be trusted, and so he swore my destruction. It ended up being his demise. I was using this ship to study humans, to study the force, and to prepare for your destruction as a species. When you and your Rebel Alliance arrived, it compromised my plans, and I attacked. Your meddling in these affairs has vexed me to no end. As each leader of the Empire fell, I took control of the next. However, even when given my power, Dragonclyne725 proved that he was nothing but a worthless human, unable to accomplish my tasks.”

“What do you have against humans, why do you want to destroy us?” asked Sandslash7

Arceus became angry, “Humans are imperfect. Humans enslave Pokémon, and use them for their own means. Pokémon are superior. Humans should and will serve us!”

“Humans and Pokémon work together as friends and partners!” counter Sandslash7.

“Lies!” screamed Arceus, “Humans are scum, a cancer on life. Imperfect and unbalanced. They destroy and enslave, abuse and corrupt. I will see to it that every human is dead or enslaved to Pokémon. Pokémon will be the dominate species in the galaxy!”

“That’s not true.” Spoke JewelQuest, “some humans, yes, but not all, not most.”

Arceus addressed the Jolteon, “you have been brainwashed, you and the Deoxys, are traitors to your own kind. You will die with the humans!”

The Imperial Glory shook and Cardzmaster2004 closest to the entrance, peered out into the Hanger. “The orbit of this ship is decaying. We need to leave, now.”

Everyone began to file out of the small room. Sandslash7 however stayed, watching Arceus. King Piplup poked his head back in and told him to hurry.

“Go prep the ship,” said Sandslash7, “I’ll be there in a moment.”

King Piplup nodded and hurried to the shuttle, which now had everyone else aboard.

Sandslash7 turned back to Arceus. “You are misguided. We have just proven to you how strong humans are. We beat you. We beat the Empire, and the Sith. It doesn’t matter if you try to destroy us by yourself or with an army. We have always lived in peace with Pokémon. You will not change that. You won’t turn us against each other. You lost, and should you ever be brave enough to show yourself personally, we will see just how much of a ‘god’ you are. Just remember the loss you suffered here on the Imperial Glory and when you are ready for another one, come and find us. We will be waiting. The word will be out about your plan; the entire galaxy will be looking for you. You don’t have a chance.”

Sandslash7 turned to leave. Arceus said nothing. Sandslash7 was half-way out of the room when he stopped. Arceus addressed him, “Run human, run. You are only delaying the inevitable. Go to your leaders. Tell them of my existence. Tell them of my plans. You cannot stop us. We are coming. Our arrival, our descent will be unstoppable.”

Sandslash7 silently left the room and boarded the ship. Explosions began to rock the Imperial Glory as the planet below’s gravity tugged at it, ripping it to pieces and pulling to towards the ground. Everyone was aboard the Lambda shuttle, which was hovering on repulsorlifts, and positioning itself to leave the Imperial Glory’s hanger. The ship moved forward, passing through the barrier between space and the interior of the hanger. As the shuttle left the Imperial Glory, the amount of damage the cruiser had taken became apparent, what little remain of her was quickly being pulled toward the planet below. The shuttle lingered as King Piplup who was at the controls, calibrated the navigation route. As the Imperial Glory began to disappear, a low raspy voice echoed inside of everyone’s mind, a psychic message. It was Arceus.

“Humans, you have changed nothing. Your species has the attention of those infinitely your greater. That which you know as Pokémon will be your destruction and demise! We are coming.”

Scottistru looked over at Sandslash7, “Did he say ‘we?’”

King Piplup threw the hyperdrive switch and the ship jumped forward into light-speed, cutting off anything else Arceus had planned to say. The small shuttle was on its way back to Rebel Alliance space.

Back on the Imperial Glory Arceus’s image was still on the holo-table. He looked at Dragonclyne725 who still lay at the entrance to the communications room, motionless, but alive.

“You have failed,” claimed Arceus, “we will find another way. Releasing control.”

The image of Arcues faded away. Dragonclyne725 looked around at his surroundings confused and dazed. He looked down at his broken and mangled body with bafflement and then out the shield barrier at the end of the hanger. He saw the planet below getting larger and larger. Explosions shook the ship, which rumbled as it entered the atmosphere. Fire rushed upwards and consumed him.

Dragonclyne725 - Imperial Agent (Werewolf)

Once of the Elite Imperial Agents, you were specifically trained for this mission in Jedi combat techniques, as well as counter-Jedi tactics. Combined with your skills as a spy, and your mastery of espionage, this makes you a deadly assassin and invaluable asset to the Empire. Your mission is to root out the Rebels and the Jedi, and make them suffer. The Emperor has also warned you to be on the look-out for his old apprentice, Darth Cyrus. He requires….special attention. You are a member of the Empire, and thus a wolf.

ROLE: Werewolf
You are a Werewolf. You are a Werewolf with with Oh you’ll find out soon enough Each night, you get to converse with all other Werewolves and decide whom to kill that night and what area you will hide in afterwards. You can also communicate with them at any time during the game night through PMs, Aim, IM, E-mail, Etc.

ROLE 2: Copy
Once during the night, you may choose to use this role. If the Wolves make a successful kill, then instead of the real victim, a dead Agent’s body will be found instead of the actual character and be listed as a dead wolf. (The targeted player will still be out of the game.) You will then don the now dead person’s character, but not their role (if any) (and still be on the wolves’ team) for the rest of the game. If a kill is not made, your role fails. If you cannot copy a character, you may use your ability again until you copy a character. If the role succeeds if cannot be used again for the rest of the game. To most seers and detectives you will remain hidden. However there may or may not be a role that uncovers your disguise.

Example:
-Wolves kill a player x who turns out to be the priest and during the night, you used your role.
-The next day a dead wolf Imperial Agent will be found with the player x’s name listed
-You will now look like the priest to all investigations and basically be the priest with the exception of no priest role.

The Method to my Madness, Werewolf XV, explained.

Well everyone, it’s been over 250 days, and Werewolf XV, Pokémon Wars has finally come to an end. It’s almost hard to believe how ingrained in the story I became, how excited I was to come back from class and see what had happened. How the players had changed and molded the story based on their actions. Throughout this entire game I could never tell who was going to win. I will explain more in detail later, but had the town made a single mistake, the Sith Cult were going to win. I actually already had the Sith win update planned out if it happened. The same thing happened with the last wolf. Had Dragonclyne725 managed to survive the day, then the wolves automatically won. Again, I had prepared for their victory and had prepared a victory scene. This was amazing game, and I want to thank everyone for playing and participating. Here is what I’m going to talk about here. First I will explain roles, show the full unedited versions and give a brief explanation of their rules and abilities, and reasons for designing them as I did. Then I will give my opinion on how each player did with there role. Finally a few closing comments.

WEREWOLF XV RULES, ROLES, AND PLAYERS
I was originally not set for another werewolf game for some time after my last one. Cardzmaster sent me a message asking me if I wanted to the 15th game. I eagerly accepted and planned on making it a game to remember I created the Werewolf XV role document in Microsoft Word on January 15th 2011. That’s 6 months and 4 days from the beginning of my game. My game went through so many tweaks and changes that I actually had separate word documents to write notes on characters and factions as I wrote them so I could keep track of what I was doing. The game got so complex for me at times that I would have to write myself notes on things I might come up with so I could remember to take certain factors into account later on. I ran ideas by players, I sent PMs asking for there opinions. Many of you may remember a PM I sent asking if players would like a big or little game, lots of players or not many. Multiple factions or fewer. I sent that PM to roughly 45 people. I took all of there responses into account while making this game. I ran ideas by veteran players, but was able to remain vague enough to not give anything away. I spent hours on MafiaScum and the Mafia Wiki. I read all of the Pokegym games, and even a few games on other forums. I wanted to make this game for the players. I like to think I accomplished that. The game preformed beyond my expectations and I have the players to thank for that. I knew immediately I wanted a Star Wars theme. In fact I had planned on one when I wrote the epilogue to my second Werewolf game. It was around that time everyone got new avatars. Among those were my Jedi Lucario, Z-man’s Jedi Gallade, and DarthPika, Darth Pikachu. All of which became characters in my game, and were the basis for most of my storyline development. I combined the character and universes of Star Wars and Pokémon in a way that everyone, even people not fans of Star Wars could enjoy.

ROOMS: Why?
So before I explain roles, it will help to understand my rooms or “area” mechanic. One of the biggest things that bugged me in Werewolf was that if I put too much information in the updates, it gave away roles, but made for a great. If I put too little, it became boring and stale. I wanted a way for people to use updates to figure out who other players were without relying only on detective or seer roles. The room mechanic would allow players to use room location as evidence against and for one another. It brought a whole new angle into the game. I searched and found only a couple of game that had tried this idea before, but with little success. Rooms also allowed for new types of roles to be created. Area effect roles and roles that relied on or involved rooms became central in my role design process. With 41 players, rooms also divided up the night into smaller, more manageable groups. Having 41 roles take place in the same place would be crazy to try and shift through in an update as well as to write. I said in the beginning of my game that the room mechanic was an experimental idea and I was unsure of how it would go. I am proud to say that it preformed beyond my expectations and if I ever host another Werewolf game, it will feature the room mechanic. I loved it and think it added a different flavor and twist to the game. It wasn’t until the final stage of my game that I decided to plan events and situations in which the rooms of the ship were slowly removed as the players were reduced in number. This was akin to my infamous super events where all hell breaks lose, usually on night 4. See Magikarp evolving and Arceus being released in my previous games. The way the events worked were partially pre-planned. The Hanger would never be destroyed because that would remove any hope of escape from the ship. Two rooms would be destroyed on night 5. Another room when Palpatine was killed, and two others based on the number of players remaining at the end of a night or day phase. I tried to be creative in how the rooms would go. Death by room destruction was based on some equation that I’m not entirely sure how I came up with. It took the number of players, and the number of players in the room to be destroyed and gave a percentage chance that every person had of dying in that room based on that proportion. However I had certain parameters restricting the number of people who could die at the same time via the same room destruction and based those ranking on who hit the higher percentage in a dice roll. Somewhere along the line someone suggested that the rooms being destroyed was a time limit to the end of the game. I loved that, and the fact that almost everyone believed it made me happy. It added a level of suspense to the game. As rooms were destroyed, it forced players to a smaller space and thus area of effect roles became more powerful as time went on, and it became easier to pinpoint who was where each night. That being said, I threw several curveballs to keep people from finding some way to abuse the rooms to perfectly figure out who was who and where they were really early on. Some characters were undetectable in rooms and would appear as “shadows.” Other players could appear in multiple rooms, and other still would perform actions in a room, then leave and hide in another. This I believe balanced out the room mechanic and made it work. As some point I planned on making a map of the Imperial Glory but that idea was scrapped. That being said, in the first night update, I clearly explained where each room was. Later on when creaking was heard above the mess, I had hoped players would be able to figure out that the Control Room was in danger. I dropped multiple hints like this throughout the game. In fact almost all my updates had some sort of cryptic clue in it. So that explains the rooms, now I can talk about roles.

ROLES: The most important part of the game.
The roles of this game were definitely my proudest achievement. I believe them to be some of the best roles I have ever come up with. . They are a combination of roles from past werewolf games, both my own and others and my own design. I took several tips and ideas from other mods. So let me first explain something that came up a few times. How did players in my game receive there role? Was it random? Did I assign roles? In my last game, I had to adjust for the massive amount of new players, but this game brought a healthy balance of new and old, veteran and inexperience. So everyone randomly received a number. That number put them in one of 6 categories; Empire, Rebel, Pokémon, Independent, Cultist, Jedi. From that point each group received random numbers that either assigned them a role in that group or recycled them out to the next group below them. Example, seven people got into the Empire faction, but only the ones with the highest six numbers got to stay. The lowest roller was sent down to the town faction below. This may seems overly complicated, but it allowed my see general groups formed before roles were assigned to each individual player. So after this, every player had been assigned one of six factions, but not an actual role. By doing this, I was able to see what players would be in what groups before they got there roles. This was to prevent clumps of power or veteran players. There were no major or worrisome clumps in groups and thus no changes were necessary. At this point each person in the faction was randomly assigned a role within there already randomly assigned faction. Every role was assigned randomly. For all random number assignment, role flips, storyline percentages, and other dice rolls or percentages, I used: http://www.random.org/

So about the roles themselves. I wanted a very even balance of Pokémon and Star Wars. Thus the reason for that excel spreadsheet show in the video above. I made a list of every character, the universe they were from, whether they were force affluent or not, and whether they would be visible in rooms or not. I also noted how there roles and the room mechanic worked. Whether they chose a room, or followed a player, or were restricted to rooms. The only time I ran into a problem with this was when I had a circle of players target each other and all of them had “follow target to their area” as there room mechanic operation. This forced me to randomly choose of them to choose the room they would operate in, so that the other roles would have a base of operations as well. This was the “role paradox” I referred to during night 10 or something like that. At any rate, I’ve gotten off topic a bit. The roles were split. There was roughly a 50-50 split in Pokémon and Star Wars characters. There was also a 50-50 split in force users and non force users. I also decided to stick to only movie based character, or extended universe characters that were very well known. I wanted to try and avoid spoilers on the Star Wars side. In fact I originally had Jacen and Jainia as characters in the game, but took them away because I felt they were too unknown. I had Mara Jade and Kyle Katarn though, so I suppose that is a moot point. I also wanted to establish a bit of a coherent timeline. Obviously it takes place in an alternate universe, and thus certain characters were alive at the same time that otherwise shouldn’t be, but I think it lined up very well. As for Pokémon. I originally had N as a character, but at the time, BW was still relatively new, and people were still playing the game, so I opted to not use him or and BW Pokémon because people were still getting used to them. At some point I decided that all Pokémon, with a few exceptions would be Force Sensitive, I used this a plot point to explain their powers later on, and relevance with the Star Wars universe.

As you all probably noticed, every character had a main alignment group, and then a subset of groups. Darth Pikachu for example was Empire aligned, but was also a Pokémon, a Dark Jedi, and a Force User. The inclusion of these sub-groups allowed me to tailor win conditions. It created separate rivalries and battles within the game. Pokémon Hunter J for example needed all Pokémon to be killed. Cyrus and Giovanni needed the Jedi and other Dark Jedi eliminated as part of their win condition. This meant that there could still be active Empire alive, but so long as the Jedi, Darth Pikachu, and Palpatine were dead, the win condition could be achieved. The Force Sensitivity played less of a role then I had originally intended. Originally the Sith Cult and Jedi could only recruit Force Sensitives, this however was changed during Night 1 when I realized that it made the win condition of some groups too hard to achieve. Obviously it still held some use though. At one point someone figured out all Pokémon were supposed to be Force Sensitive. Jedi and Dark Jedi were also naturally Force Sensitive, and using these subgroups allowed for players to have another way to find clues and evidence. It also made character easier to manage from a mod standpoint.

So now you understand the room mechanic and the role subgroups, but what about the actual roles themselves? Here is every role, uncensored and unedited, as it was sent to the player via PM. Along with the role is a sort explanation on how the role worked, and how the player played using said role. Anything listed under ***XXXX Notes*** was information hidden from players and known only to me. The following information is from my point of view, watching the game as a mod. I have no intention of offending anyone, so if you don’t like what I wrote about you, I apologize in advance.

WOLVES

1.
Ikrit -Emperor Palpatine (Darth Sideous) (Werewolf)
(Dark Jedi)
(Force Sensitive)

Evil incarnate, you are Emperor Palpatine, also known as Darth Sideous. You are the most powerful Sith Lord in the Galaxy, and through political deception and military might, you now rule the galaxy as head of the Galactic Empire. Your position however has been threatened but several factors and you have found yourself in a dangerous situation that only strategy and your tactical genius can beat. Your power is waning and your life force is depleting itself. You must use the power of the Pokémon native to Earth if you wish to keep your reign of power.

The Rebel Alliance however has discovered your weakness and now plans to stop you. You will have to lead your team of your most elite troops and followers to succeed in victory. Your group is called the Wolf Pack of the Galactic Empire.

What remains of the Jedi have also discovered your fatal flaw and have jumped at the opportunity to eliminate the Sith threat. However this works both ways and you now have a chance to rid yourself of the Jedi once and for all. You are powerful and stand an excellent chance when fighting Jedi.

There is more, your apprentice Darth Cyrus has betrayed you and begun conceiving his own plans to defeat you. This treacherous act cannot be ignored. Cyrus and anyone who follows him must die.

ROLE: Alpha Wolf
You are the Alpha Werewolf. You are a Werewolf with Cabd, Dragonclyne725, PokemonFreak5, Blitzer, and Benzo. Each night, you get to converse with all other Werewolves and decide whom to kill that night. You decide, after discussion at night, whom the Werewolves will eliminate that night. You can also communicate with them at any time during the game night through PMs, Aim, IM, E-mail, Etc. You are the final word on who dies, and your PM is the one that tells me who to kill. After the wolves kill someone, they will all go and hide in whatever areas they want to. Multiple wolves can hide in the same area. This being said, as long as at least four (4) wolves live, two (2) of said wolves must be hiding in the same area as the murder is committed. Once the amount of wolves drops to three (3) or less, only one wolf must hide in the area of said murder. Once there is one (1) wolf remaining, he/she does not have to hide in the same area as the murder.
If one of your wolves will not respond, you may choose for them. Your PM will also include where each wolf will hide afterwards. Spread this message to your fellow wolves, as they do not know that someone must stay behind.

When you PM me, include:
1.) Who you would like to kill.
2.) What area each wolf will hide in afterwards (for the ones that stay behind, simply put "stay behind")
3.) Any Roles/Items relevant at the time.

ROLE 2: Deception
Your talents in the force compliment your abilities as a politician. Therefore if you are ever targeted by a seer or detective, they will get no reading.

ROLE 3: Force Persuasion
At any time during the night when a wolf is either: Lynched the previous day, Killed during the previous night or day, or there are only 2 remaining wolves, you may use this power. PM me the name of any living player and the name of another living player you wish for them to vote for. That player MUST vote for who you choose during the next game day.

If you should die, you get to choose who the next Alpha Werewolf will be among the Werewolves remaining. If Darth Pikachu is alive when you die, he will inherit your role, Force Persuasion

If another player views a list of players in the same area you are in, you will appear as “Shadow”

Win Condition: Galactic Empire (Wolves) Win
-There are 5 or less townies left and at least 1 Wolf at the end of any Day
- Darth Cyrus is defeated
-The Jedi are eliminated

****Palpatine Notes***
-When Palpatine dies, Darth Pikachu inherits the ability to control votes (Role 3)
-During Night 5, Palpatine gains a second kill that only works if the target is a Jedi or Dark Jedi

So right off the back you’ll notice that the Alpha Wolf role is huge. Not only that, but he give neutral reads on seering and detectives, and has a vote manipulation ability. He also does not show up in rooms as an occupant. At first look, this character is extremely over-powered. Only, he’s not. One thing I learned from watching and modding werewolf games is that the wolves need power. This is best expressed by Lucario ex’s game. She gave every wolf a power. The wolves were closer to victory in that game then any other game I’ve seen. I liked that, and as I player her game, I incorporated her ideas into my game. To that I give my thanks Lucario ex. I found some statistics involving the number of detectives and seers, and the number of wolves and found just how slim the wolves’ normal chances of victory are. So to that point I pumped up the wolves with extra abilities and powers. Palpatine’s third ability can be transferred to Darth Pikachu if he is alive when Palpatine dies. This was because the role become more powerful as the wolves are losing, so it was logical to make it a pass-down role. During night 5, Palpatine gained a secondary kill ability. The reasons for this was to help thin out the game a bit and scare the town. The ability however failed to hit due to the criteria requited of it. I believe that with the upgrades all the wolves in this game had, they had at least a 50% chance of victory. This can be proven by the fact that the wolves almost won. I’ll explain more later, but I had actually assumed they would win at some point. I liked writing battle scense with Palpatine. Palpatine isn’t just evil, he enjoys being evil, he’s passionate about it. He has fun being a complete and utter evil jerk. I had a lot fun writing him in updates.

Ikrit played his character perfectly. He stayed under the radar for the most part, and managed the wolves in an interesting tactic that I really liked. He told me the he treated the wolves like unknowns in every instance except when night rolled around. He chose to disassociate himself with his team so that he would not appear biased. I liked that strategy. Even after being accused of being Palpatine, Ikrit managed to talk his way out of being lynched. In the end Ikirt went down when both the Sith Cult and the Jedi gained a special kill ability that only worked on Jedi or Dark Jedi. They both chose to attack him on the same night. This unintentional choice allowed me to write one of the most awesome updates ever. They chose to target him because someone (I can’t remember who) straight up pinpointed Ikrit as a wolf, specifically Palpatine. I think it was Scottistru, but they somehow figured out exactly who Ikrit was. I know he got a neutral detective read on Ikrit and found that interesting. Specifically he got the PM “You receive no information,” but I remember him being excited by that PM. Whoever that was, please explain how you figured that out. All in all, Ikrit in an amazing player. I really enjoy his play style and tactics. He played a great game, and lost more on being targeted by the wrong roles at the wrong time, then anything else. Good job Ikrit

2.
Cabd - Darth Pikachu (Werewolf)
(Dark Jedi)
(Force Sensitive)
(Pokémon)

While experimenting on Pokémon, Palpatine took great interest in you. After Darth Cyrus betrayed him, he noted your dark emotions and took you on as his apprentice. Now you serve the Emperor Palpatine as his servant of darkness. Your skill with a Lightsaber and your skills with the more darker Force Powers, such as Force Lighting, have earned you a ruthless reputation. You are eager to test your newfound powers on the weak and pitiful Rebels who dare to oppose you and your master. Your master has trained you well. You are not to be underestimated. The wolves will not regret you.

ROLE: Werewolf
You are a Werewolf. You are a Werewolf with Ikrit, Dragonclyne725, PokemonFreak5, Blitzer, and Benzo. Each night, you get to converse with all other Werewolves and decide whom to kill that night and what area you will hide in afterwards. You can also communicate with them at any time during the game night through PMs, Aim, IM, E-mail, Etc.

Win Condition: Galactic Empire (Wolves) Win
-There are 5 or less townies left and at least 1 Wolf at the end of any Day
- Darth Cyrus is defeated
-The Jedi are eliminated

****Darth Pikachu Notes***
When Darth Pikachu dies, he drops a Lightsaber, anyone can claim the Lightsaber.

While not having a real role other then being a wolf (and receiving Palpatine’s vote manipulation bearing Palpatine’s death) Darth Pikachu played a vital part in this game. Not only was this character one of the very base ideas and character for the creation of this game, but hit presence was extremely important to the storyline. He was as main of a villain as Palpatine was. He was the one killing people when the wolves attacked. When he died, it gave a huge sense of relief to the town. Darth Pikachu was also another Dark Jedi and Pokémon, his death advanced several people’s agendas. I also had fun writing about Darth Pikachu. I turned him into the biggest killing machine in this game. He not just killed his opponent, he made them suffer. During the short time he was alive, I feel like he really developed as a character. When Darth Pikachu dies, he drops a Lightsaber. During the day he died, Spirtomb, one of Napoleon’s Pokémon was in effect. This allowed Napoleon to automatically claim the Lightsaber. The Lightsaber offered protection against Jedi and Dark Jedi attackers as well as a general defense against the Empire. The Lightsaber actually has different effects depending on the faction of the player who picks it up. In this case a town member picked it up ad gained a defense bonus.

Time For Pain who originally held the role was unable to play as long as I hoped. That’s too bad because TFP is a really good player and I like his style. He did however manage to stay under the radar during his time. This allowed Cabd to enter the game without too much problem. Cabd however was new to Werewolf and this was his first WW game (correct me if I’m wrong on that.) He hit a suspicious note early on for having jumpy actions and saying a couple of off things. In the end he was lynched, but that’s not to say he did a bad job. If this was his first game, then he did very well, especially considering he jumped into the game late, and had such an important role. Regardless of his experience, he was able to talk his way out of being lynched several times before the hammer finally fell.

3.

You are a Werewolf with with Ikrit, Cabd, PokemonFreak5, Blitzer, and Benzo. Each night, you get to converse with all other Werewolves and decide whom to kill that night and what area you will hide in afterwards. You can also communicate with them at any time during the game night through PMs, Aim, IM, E-mail, Etc.

Win Condition: Galactic Empire (Wolves) Win
-There are 5 or less townies left and at least 1 Wolf at the end of any Day
- Darth Cyrus is defeated
-The Jedi are eliminated

****Imperial Agent Notes***
-If more then two detective or seer roles are used on the Imperial Agent at the same the disguise will break

Oh man. This role was one of my favorites. In fact this is the role that almost won the game for the wolves. So before I get to that, let me explain the role. This is essentially a steal the image of another person. Dragoncylne725 used this role during the first night and the first wolf kill. It ended up being Diaz who took the first bullet and Dragonclyne725 adopted the guise of Lance. Just like with Palpatine, this prevented Seers and Detectives from seeing his true nature and in fact, they would see townie. Now some might call this role unfair, but there are more factors then seen. As you can see on the note, if hit with more then one information role the disguise breaks. This isn’t just the 4 major seers/detectives. All the one night only, and psudeo detective and seer roles fall under this rule. In fact there were a couple of nights a role block or a priest prevented a second seer or detective from breaking through the disguise. Also had the first kill been a cultist or an independent, then so too would the Imperial Agent’s alignment appear to be. This role was fun. It’s deceptive. The wolves killing one of their own just messes with everyone. I’d like to say I wrote it well, though as the game progressed, I started to feel like I made it too obvious Diaz was a rebel. That said, I don’t regret what I wrote. It clearly did the job until the last day of the game. Regardless of this, Dragonclyne725 managed to pass the lie detector tests, and fool the entire town into believing he was a townsperson until the very end. I said this role almost won the game for the wolves. Had the town lynched anyone other then Dragonclyne725 on Day 12, the wolves would gave automatically won. There were 6 townies alive, 1 Independent with a “survive until the game ends condition” and 1 wolf. The wolves were that close to winning this game. In fact, I prepared for (and kinda hoped) they would win. I had a really cool ending scene planned out, but the wolves were finished in a very exciting final day. This is what I meant by “wolves need power.” The Imperial Agent is more or less immune to normal detective and seer sweeps, which means his downfall has to come from someone getting them to crack or catching them in a lie. I was really impressed by how this role played out.

Dragonclyne725 himself played amazingly. I believe 100% that the wolves would have won if just a few things had gone different. If Diaz had not been the first target, then when Napoleon died, the difference in roles would not have been able to have been used as evidence. This was a big part of Dragonclyne725 fall. His fake role didn’t match up to my normal style for Pokémon Trainers and when Cynthia fell, he had no defense. That being said, had Dragonclyne725 opted to kill Sandslash7 then not only would the role comparison not been made, but those huge posts might not have been made and Dragonclyne725 may have lived to fight another day. I don’t believe that PokemonFreak5’s words about Dragonclyne725 were that big in his downfall. At that point DC725 was passing seers and detective scans, and the evidence against his was circumstantial. That being said, I think PokemonFreak5 cast unnecessary attention on him. All in all, Dragonclyne725, you played an amazing game. You survived longer then any wolf in the history of Pokegym Werewolf, and you almost brought the first victory ever to the wolves. The only way I can describe your loss is that you flipped too many tails. You did good, you played extremely well and I congratulate you.

4.
PokemonFreak5 - Imperial Officer (Werewolf)

An Imperial Officer of high rank, you were put in command of the Imperial Glory during the middle of the rebel attack, when most of the other crew had been killed. You took charge immediately, and it is because of your actions that the Empire even still, has a chance at victory. Now you must protect your life and the reign of the Galactic Empire by doing what you can to defeat these “Rebel Scum.” Your control of the ship will come in handy in the battle to come. You are part of the Galactic Empire and thus a wolf.

ROLE: Werewolf
You are a Werewolf. You are a Werewolf with Ikrit, Cabd, Dragonclyne725, Blitzer, and Benzo. Each night, you get to converse with all other Werewolves and decide whom to kill that night and what area you will hide in afterwards. You can also communicate with them at any time during the game night through PMs, Aim, IM, E-mail, Etc.

ROLE 2: Ship Control
With your command of the ship, you also have control over several functions of the ship including gravity, lights, and other areas. Once during the night, you may choose an area of the ship and one of the following commands:
Turn Off Gravity: Has Potential to Block or Shut off Roles
Turn Off Lights: Has the Potential to Shift Roles
Shut Doors: Has the Potential to Hide someone from harm
Activate Robotic Defenses: Activates defenses to beat up and detain someone
Activate Trap: Prevents someone from voting or posting next game day.
Activate Robotic Cleaners: Removes any dead bodies from the scene from being found.
Activate Security Cameras: View list of all people in each area
Unknown Deactivated Button: Cannot be used until all other options are used.

Each one can only be used once, so choose wisely. Also there may be someone out there trying to stop your actions and sabotage your plan. It would do you good to find this person before they find you. If your role is prevented, then that button does not count as being used, but your role will have no effect.

Win Condition: Galactic Empire (Wolves) Win
-There are 5 or less townies left and at least 1 Wolf at the end of any Day
- Darth Cyrus is defeated
-The Jedi are eliminated

****Imperial Officer Notes***
If Han Solo or anyone with the mechanic’s bag chooses the same area, the effect is cancelled out. The Control pad will not work on any area the Mechanic/Han Solo is currently in.
When the Imperial Officer dies, he drops a Control Pad anyone can claim the Control pad.

This was another really fun role. It was a really powerful disruption role, with a really powerful counter. So if you are familiar with my previous Werewolf game, you’ll recognize this role immediately. I always gave the wolves a control pad person. The difference this time being that button is an area effect role. Combined with the room mechanic, this role started out relatively ineffective and more a nuisance to the town, and became progressively more powerful and deadly. As you can see from the notes, so long as Han Solo was alive, the Imperial Officer’s role effectiveness was reduced and he was at risk. Even once Han Solo died, the mechanic’s bag would never be removed from play unless a wolf claimed it. As with previous versions of this role, the control pad could be picked up by anyone if the Officer died and each button had a one time use. The final button had multiple effects depending on the situation. If the Imperial Officer had it and managed to survive until every button was used, as happened here, he got to choose between using all the buttons at the same time in a super role, setting a bomb off somewhere, or holding the button until he died and detonating it upon death. Had Han Solo not been alive when PokemonFreak5 died, he would have taken out 2-3 people when his bomb blew up. Instead Arcanine/Arbok Master as Han Solo was able to sacrifice himself to prevent the extra killing. If a townie had the remote when the last button activated, they got access to the “use every button at the same time” role only and not the bomb ones. Until his death, PokemonFreak5 and Han Solo never actually used there roles in the same rooms.

When this game first started, I was under the impression that PokemonFreak5 was a new player. I later realized how experienced he really was. PF5 played a good game as evidenced by how long he lived. His down fall was due to Redados1 killing himself to reveal PF5’s wolf alignment. When he went down, he cast unnecessary attention on Dragonclyne725 but I don’t believe that really affected Dragonclyne725 lynch. I like the way PF5 plays. He’s subtle and stays under the radar, but posts very detailed and informative posts. He’s a good player, and it took a seer committing suicide to take him out. His posts were persuasive. If not for the damning evidence of the seer, he probably would have talked his way out of the lynch. Over all I was very pleased with how this character fit into the game and how he was played.

5.
Blitzer -Dark Gardevoir (Werewolf)
(Pokémon)

You are a Gardevoir who has been turned to the Dark Side by Palpatine. Discovered around the same time as Darth Pikachu, Palpatine noted your dark emotions, turned you into a weapon of the Sith. You are not considered a Dark Jedi yet however. Your goal is to prove your worth to the Emperor by defeating the Jedi and the Rebel Alliance. You are allied with the wolves.

ROLE: Werewolf
You are a Werewolf. You are a Werewolf with Ikrit, Cabd, Dragonclyne725, PokemonFreak5, and Benzo. Each night, you get to converse with all other Werewolves and decide whom to kill that night and what area you will hide in afterwards. You can also communicate with them at any time during the game night through PMs, Aim, IM, E-mail,

ROLE 2: Sibling
You are ALSO a sibling with both (Gallade) Gallade and (Barkjon) Ralts and you may converse with them at any time during the game night via PM/AIM/IM etc. and discuss your strategy for the next day. Both your siblings believe you are a townie and do not know you are Evil. You CANNOT tell either of them you are part of the Galactic Empire and thus a wolf. You also CANNOT tell the wolves you are a sibling with (Gallade) and (Barkjon) Also if any one of you die, the other two will commit suicide out of grief. So if the wolves want to kill either one of them, you might need to convince them otherwise. It is also wise to protect each other from getting lynched.

Win Condition: Galactic Empire (Wolves) Win
- There are 5 or less townies left and at least 1 Wolf at the end of any Day
- Darth Cyrus is defeated
-The Jedi are eliminated

**** Dark Gardevoir Notes***
-If Ralts or Gallade dies, Dark Gardevoir has a 15% chance of survival.

Being a sibling sucks in Werewolf. There are great opportunities to abuse and manipulate being a sibling, especially if you are wolf, but have 2 or 3 multiplier in your death probability sucks. You have to protect others, and it can be a pain. That’s why I added the secret 15% survival rate. This is the same reason Gallade survived when Dark Gardevoir died. Other then that, there’s nothing to exciting about this role. The sibling triagle is between a townsperson, a wolf, and a Jedi. The Jedi being the equivalent to wildcards in this game. I don’t know about behind the scenes chats and stuff, but I didn’t see this mason group really be too effective or make much of an impact.

I don’t have much to say on Blitzer. He died too early to really do that much or for me to get a read on him, and his death was the combination of a Napoleon’s kill role, and the Garchomp someone picked up off of Lance’s body making everyone shift targets with an earthquake. It was cruddy luck, and it happens. Sorry you went out so early Blitzer.

6.
Benzo - Purge Trooper (Werewolf)

You are a Purge Trooper an Anti- Jedi Robot; everything about you is designed to defeat Jedi. You have Cortosis Armor that can withstand Lightsaber attacks and special magnetic field that disrupts force attacks. Throw on a rocket launcher, and you're a force to be reckoned with. If you are built to fight Jedi, then unlucky is the Rebel who picks a fight with you're 7 ft tall wolf self

ROLE: Werewolf
You are a Werewolf. You are a Werewolf with Ikrit, Cabd, PokemonFreak5, Dragonclyne725, and Blitzer. Each night, you get to converse with all other Werewolves and decide whom to kill that night and what area you will hide in afterwards. You can also communicate with them at any time during the game night through PMs, Aim, IM, E-mail,

ROLE 2: Anti-Jedi Droid
Your special armor and force field will assist you greatly in the upcoming battle and help you avoid termination. You have a 85% chance of being impervious to any role from a “Force Sensitive” who targets you. You also have a 10% chance of seeing which player or what character targeted you if they are a “Force Sensitive.”

ROLE 3: Speech Impediment
No matter how powerful you are, you are still a droid, a robot. Every time you post, you must insert at some point a series of “Bzzzzt’s” or “Errrrrrrk” or "Clank" other robot noises (be creative, but keep them robot sounding.) While allowed, keep repetition of used noises to a minimum. The number of noises per post depends on how many posts you’ve made during that game day.

EXAMPLE:

Your 3rd post of Day X
Three noises inserted anywhere in post

Your 2nd post of Day X
Two noises inserted anywhere in post

Your 7th post of Day X
Seven noises inserted anywhere in post

Failure to do so will result first on a private warning, then a public warning, and finally a potential Modkill, so don’t forget.

Win Condition: Galactic Empire (Wolves) Win
-There are 5 or less townies left and at least 1 Wolf at the end of any Day
- Darth Cyrus is defeated
-The Jedi are eliminated

Again I have a wolf with a defensive role. This one defended against anyone with a Force Sensitive subgroup in there role. This is a pretty normal defensive role. I think the purge trooper is awesome, and Benzo had one of the coolest death fight scenes of game. I gave it a speech impediment because most werewolf games have townies with speed impediment. I like speech impediment. They mess with everyone because of how easy they are to fake, they also drive everyone completely nuts when half the players are using them, either falsely or because of their role. I liked this one because of how ambiguous making robot sounds really was.

This role belonged to Marshstomp who signed up, acknowledged his role then proceeded to stop playing. I don’t really understand the logic in that, but whatever. I like Benzo. I just get a good vibe from him. He was one of the first people to sign up…but asked to be signed up as a replacement despite there being more then 10 open spots at the time. He was brand new to the game and wanted to watch a bit before joining in. He got his chance and was thrown into the game, as a wolf no less. He did fantastic. For a new player, he adapted almost instantaneously. He used his speech impediment to his advantage claiming to be a good robot, and was able to post enough to not attract attention. His posting as well, despite being a new player was surprisingly sound. Benzo died because gallade just out of the blue claimed he was a wolf, and everyone voted for him. Later on jpulice claimed that gallade didn’t really know Benzo was a wolf, he just really had a hunch and told everyone he had a pseudo seer role so they would believe him. gallade if I am wrong on this let me know, but if I am correct, then you identified Benzo as a wolf, and convinced the town to vote him completely on a gut feeling. I won’t criticize what works. Bad luck Benzo but I want you to know that for the time you were alive, you played fantastic. Especially for your first Werewolf game.

Final Notes on the wolves
You will notice how much defensive power I put on the wolves. This biggest reason for this is that given statistics, seers and detectives will destroy any chance a wolf has a winning. By evening those odds, I tremendously increased the survivability of the wolves. I don’t think the wolves were over-powered Especially with all the factions they were fighting against. I don’t think the wolves were too weak either. I think this was just right for them.

The wolves played a fantastic game. They almost won. There downfall was also a good mix of bad luck, being called out for mistakes, and being out maneuvered. I cannot find a single thing I would have changed out the wolves’ strategy and tactics. Had they gotten just a tad luckier, there is no doubt that they would have won this game.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
TOWNSPEOPLE
7.
Redados1 - Yoda (Seer)
(Force Sensitive)
You are Yoda the wisest and most powerful Jedi who ever existed. Forced into exile by the Empire, you’ve decided that instead of waiting around to die, you’re going to go out with a bang, fighting the Empire and the Sith. You snuck aboard the Imperial Glory and have allied yourself with the Rebel Alliance also fighting the Empire. You are old though, and your strength comes from wisdom and your connection to The Force, not your Lightsaber combat. Thus you are the seer.
ROLE: Vision
At night, you may PM an area of the ship you wish to search. You will then be able to choose from anyone within that area of the ship (a list I will provide for you) to learn the alignment of. Alternatively if someone uses a role on you, you have a 10% chance of learning their name and alignment.
However if you find the Alpha Werewolf, you will fight him, and have a chance of killing him...or dying. If you do not use your role, you may PM me an area of the ship you would like to be in during the night. You also sense the presence of….who is that? You’ll know if you find him, but there’s someone on this ship that The Force wants you to find. If you find him, you’ll be rewarded.
If you choose to use your role, you will be forced to be in the Barracks for the night. If you choose not use your role, you may choose an area to go to during the night instead of using your role.
Win Condition: Town Wins
***Yoda Notes***
-If Yoda finds Obi-Wan-Kenobi, then they will gain the ability to become a mason and the ability to combine their roles into one role for the night that completely reveals the Character, and role PM sent to that person. They also gain the ability to use their role in any area of the ship they want to and can be in separate areas. Should one of them die after finding each other, the ability is lost. They can only use this combined ability once every other night.
-If Yoda finds the Alpha werewolf he will fight him and has a 25% chance of killing him, and a 75% chance of dying. It is possible for both to die. They are separate rolls.
This is a pretty typical seer role, but adjusted for the room mechanic. Instead of being to search anyone, this seer could search any room, see everyone in the room (except shadows) and then choose one of those people to seer. This would turn out to be very useful for the town. As you can see, if Redados1 had run into the Alpha werewolf, a new event would have happened. If Redados1 or Obi-Wan-Kenobi had found each other, there ability to seer would have gone up immensely. Again this did not happen. While the character had a very useful role, the player however ran into quite a few, complications.
Redados1 got really excited really early on. He role revealed first chance he had. It would make him a target for the role reveal assassin, Sandslash7 which I will discuss later. The short version is that under penalty of death via Sandslash7’s role, he could not reveal anything more about his role, his targets, or results. Not even the room he was in. This would prove to be a huge burden on him, but also a bit of blessing. It forced him to keep quiet, and under the radar, which in turn let him live long enough to pin a wolf. He broke his silence seal to reveal Pokemonfreak5 wolfness but activated Sandslash7’s role who then proceeded to kill him. Beyond this limitation, Redados1 was targeted twice in a role by Ikrit’s vote manipulation role. Redados1 was restricted in some way almost the entire game. In the end though, he survived a while, and took out a wolf. That’s a victory in my book.
Cardzmaster2004 - Obi-Wan-Kenobi (Seer)
(Force Sensitive)
You are Obi-Wan-Kenobi one of the last remaining Jedi who of the original Jedi order. Forced into exile by the Empire, you’ve decided that instead of waiting around to die, you’re going to go out with a bang, fighting the Empire and the Sith. You snuck aboard the Imperial Glory and have allied yourself with the Rebel Alliance also fighting the Empire. You are old though, and your strength comes from wisdom and your connection to The Force, not your Lightsaber combat. Thus you are the seer
ROLE: Vision
At night, you may PM me the name of any living player. You will have a 50% chance of learning their alignment, and a 50% chance of learning their in-game character’s name. You’ll only learn one or the other. Either way you’ll receive some information on your target. If you do not use your role, you may PM me an area of the ship you would like to be in during the night. You also sense the presence of….who is that? You’ll know if you find him, but there’s someone on this ship that The Force wants you to find. If you find him, you’ll be rewarded.
If you choose to use your ability, you will be forced to be in the Engine Room for the night. If you choose not use your ability, you may choose an area to go to during the night instead of using your role.
Win Condition: Town Wins
***Obi-Wan-Kenobi Notes***
If Obi-Wan-Kenobi finds Yoda, then they will gain the ability to become a mason and the ability to combine their roles into one roles for the night that completely reveals the Character, and role PM sent to that person. They also gain the ability to use their role in any area of the ship they want to and can be in separate areas. Should one of them die after finding each other, the ability is lost. This combined ability can only be used once every other night.
Nothing too exciting about this role. Pretty standard seer role with a few modifications to make it interesting. Cardzmaster2004 never found Yoda (Redados1) so his secondary effect never kicked in.
Cardzmastser2004 is THE Werewolf veteran on Pokegym. He brought Werewolf to Pokegym. Everyone knows what a great player he is. I was a little disappointed at how inactive he was this game, though I totally understand why. Not only was he really busy with real life, but he had adopted (testing?) a more passive play style that is more akin to Time For Pain or Armodak (does he still even play Pokémon?) I can’t criticize him too much though because despite having a huge target on his back for simply being Cardzmaster2004 he managed to survive the entire game. That being said, his role was near useless. He got priest protection so often it rarely went through. When he wasn’t protected, his role failed, or he was role-blocked. When it did get through, he would seer someone who ended up dying the same night. That’s exaggerating a bit, his role didn’t fail every night, but it certainly failed quite a bit. I can’t critique this guy, I learned everything I know about Werewolf from him.
Toxictapian - Nurse Joy (Priest)
You are Nurse Joy, a Pokémon Doctor who ironically has combat experience (you worked with LT. Surge’s division during the great Pokémon War.) You were deployed with the Rebel attack force as a field medic and survived the initial assault. Now it’s your job to help anyone and everyone who is injured, friend or enemy, you help those who fall on the battlefield. You are the Priest. You stand by the Hippocratic Oath and will take in and help whoever needs it. You are pure of heart and thus a member of the town.
ROLE: Take in
Once during the night, you may PM me the name of a person you wish to take in and which area you wish to station yourself in. You are skilled at remotely deploying medicine, so you may be in one area even if your target is in another. That person will be completely protected from all attackers and abilities, but will not be able to use his/her ability either. The person you take in will not know it is you who took them in. If you take in certain wolves they can still communicate with their fellow wolves, but not make a kill. If you take in the Alpha wolf, he will kill you, but you’ll poison him and he will die in 3 nights. You may not protect yourself.
Win Condition: Town Wins
***Nurse Joy Notes***
If the 1st most powerful wolf is taken in, Nurse Joy is killed, but curses the Alpha to die in 3 nights.
If the Second or third most powerful wolf is taken in, they can still make kills and are protected during the night.
If the 4th-6th most powerful wolves are taken in, the wolf kill for the night is prevented.
Standard Priest/Doctor role. Note however how in the notes how I handled the wolf situation. Each wolf was assigned a number on the power ladder, 1-6. If the less powerful wolves were taken in, the kill was stopped. Nurse Joy can kill the alpha if she gets lucky. I think this was pretty fair, I think it prevented a kill once, but I can’t remember.
I like Toxictapian, he done his homework. He got into werewolf and immediately started playing game on MafiaScum and other website. He’s a good player, a really good player. He posts very well, and writes well. He has a strong tone when he types. That’s one of the reasons he’s so dangerous, and I would love to see him play as a wolf. He posts in a similar style to DarthPika. It’s funny because both of them bashed each other’s opinion or arguments all the time to me on aim when I talked to them. I stand by that they have the same personality. Reguardless, good game Toxictapian you played well enough that the wolves wanted you dead.
Dave628 - Princess Leia (Priest)
(Force Sensitive)
You are Princess Leia, a diplomat and Force Sensitive person who has an always had a desire to help those in need. Like always you have found yourself in thee mist of conflict in a battle to decide the outcome of the battle. Although you are not a fully trained Jedi, your Force powers offer you some abilities. You will have to use your protective abilities to try and help the town and defeat the Dark Side once and for all. You are a priest.
ROLE: Force Protect
Once during the night, you may PM me the name of a player (other then yourself) to protect. That person will be completely protected from all attackers and abilities, but will not be able to use his/her ability either. The person you take in will not know it is you who took them in. However in order to protect someone, you must be able to see them, so you will follow the person to whatever area of the ship they are traveling to.
However you are weaker then most in the Force and use the power of your allies to fuel your strength. If you take in a Force Sensitive, you will have a 100% chance of protecting them, if they are not a Force Sensitive, there is a 50% chance of the protection failing (there role will then be used and they will not be protected.)
Win Condition: Town Wins
Another pretty standard preist/doctor role. This one used the Force Sensitive sub-group. Where as Toxictapian could remotely protect his target, Dave628 had to follow them.
Dave628 died because he was the unlucky winner of the Control Room collapse lottery. Over all he played very well, and posted very well. I was under the impression that Dave628 was a new player (correct me if I am wrong.) If so then I am even more impressed. He player like an experienced player, and didn’t make any mistakes…well except choosing to go to the Control Room on Night 5. Good job Dave sorry about the bad luck.
Jellyfisher - Seeker (Detective)
(Force Sensitive)
You are the Seeker, part of an ancient and secret organization that works to keep the balance of the galaxy using the Force. You aren’t a Jedi, but you aren’t evil either. It is your job to seek out targets using your Force abilities. The Seekers noted that a great shift in power was on its way, so they sent you to infiltrate the rebels and make sure you were aboard the Imperial Glory when the fighting started. You are to eliminate the Sith at all costs. You are a detective. You serve to seek balance between good and evil. You want to learn who your enemies are and act before they do. Anything you can do to aid the town in victory is desired.
Role: Seek
Once during the night, you may choose any area of the ship. You will then view a list containing every Non-“Force Sensitive” who is currently in that area. Because you use the Force to find your targets, other Force Sensitives can jam your senses. For this reason, Force Sensitives have only a 35% chance of showing up on your list. Either way, you will be informed on who is and isn’t a “Force Sensitive” on your list. You will then be allowed to choose anyone from that list of people to investigate. You will learn something about that person.
If another player views a list of players in the same area you are in, you will appear as “Shadow”
Win Condition: Town Wins
The room mechanic let me get really creative with detective roles. I really liked this role. Just like Redados1 it used the room mechanic to dictate who could be a possible target instead of choosing any target, but with the advantage of seeing who was in a particular room during the night. Getting to appear as a shadow and getting to automatically see who was not Force Sensitive or not made up for the lack of choice of target and the 35% chance of seeing Force Sensitives, who made up roughly 50% of the characters.
jellyfisher played one heck of a game. I had him pegged as a newer player, with maybe one game’s worth of experience. I truly expected him to be gone in the first few day or nights, but he showed me just how good he was. He was really good at analyzing posts, and finding evidence in them. He is also really good at taking that evidence and backing up his arguments. Even when his arguments were wrong, he was persuasive in his thoughts. He’s a good posters, but keeps that air of not quite a threat. The wolves chose him as a target because of how good he was at posting and analyzing data. jellyfisher is for sure a player to look for in future games.
Scottistru - Detective Looker (Detective)
You are DETECTIVE LOOKER!!!!! Investigator extraordinaire! You are currently trying to figure out who the bad guys are, but more specifically what they are after. You’re not entirely sure how you ended up in a galaxy far, far away, but that’s ok, because you are Ace Detective Bartholomew Looker and you WILL solve this case. You’re a little odd…and we’ll leave it at that.
ROLE: CLUES
Being a detective, you find clues. Being Looker, you find them, and then lose them. Each night, you may PM me the name of someone you wish to find a clue on. You will follow that player to the area of the ship they travel to and find a clue. Then you have a 50% chance of dropping your clue, in which case it will be displayed in the update the next day for all to see. You may target the same person more then once. You might even get more then one clue out of them. You do not choose an area; you will follow your target to whatever area they go to.
Win Condition: Town Wins
***Looker Notes***
Whenever Looker uses his role, he is sent the results, and then if the clue is lost, the results will be posted on the update.
Standard Detective role with a slight modification. It didn’t really matter as the clue was lost only once, maybe twice, but I only remember it happening once, and another time when Leafeon copied Looker’s role. This is actually a good place for me to explain how I determine what the detective see when they target someone. The results a detective receive are different depending on the mod, and there is a lot of debate on what is too much. I give my detective information relevant to the target’s current activities during that particular night. Depending on the situation, I may include a bit of description on what the target looks like.
Wow, Scottistru, you impressed me big time. Let’s look at this. Elite_4_Allen drops out the game right after successfully making himself look super suspicious. Scottistru gets put in, and immediately turns his reputation around. I was really impressed by how well you played Scottistru. You are a good poster, a solid player, and a persuasive writer. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to seeing you in future games.
Sandslash7 - Role Reveal Assassin
(Force Sensitive)
You are the Role Revealer Assassin. You believe in secrets being kept secret. The only thing you hate more then people who reveal secrets are people who lie. You have been gifted with the power of the Force and will use it to make sure people don’t say what they shouldn’t be saying.
ROLE: Search and Destroy
Once during the night, you may PM me with a quote of a post where you believe someone is attempting to reveal something, anything relating to their role. If it is a complete reveal, and fits my standards of a reveal then one of two things will happen:
1.) If the reveal is a lie, you will follow your target to the area they go to and have a 90% chance of killing the target.
2.) If the reveal is truthful, you will have an 85% of being able to force the player to post one post of your own words. They will have to post your post and defend their post. They will not know you forced them to post it and will not know why they must post it. They also will no longer be able to elaborate or talk about their role for the rest of the game and must respond to any questions about their role as “no comment” If this is broken, you will kill them.
You do not choose an area; you will follow your target (if any) to whatever area they go to. If you do not use your role, you will stay in the Hanger and meditate
Win Condition: Town Wins
This role is my baby. This role did in this game what I failed to make it do in my last game. It limits role-revealing. Before I go further, let me explain. I am not against role-revealing. If I was, I would ban it from my game (which I can do.) However I think it is abused, and over-used. It should be a last ditch gamble, not a get out of lynch free-card. Thus the Role Reveal Assassin. The job of the RRA is to be suspicious of any and all role reveals. He has a high chance of killing a liar if he catches one. If the revealer is telling the truth, they are silenced from talking about there role anymore or risk death. This is what happened to Redados1 and at one point to jellyfisher. It’s a very powerful role that can be extremely helpful, or extremely hurtful to the town. It has to be used cautiously. Even if no effect happens, the RRA still learns if his target is truthful or not. After Redados1 was hit, it was very clear that something was punishing role-reveals, and I think it reduced the number and speed of role reveals and made them more a risky move, then a casual post. At first Sandslash7 was just a nameless assassin, but as the game advanced, I bought and played all the assassin creed games, and Sandslash7’s evolved into one of the Assassin’s Creed assassin. He wasn’t specifically Enzio, but he was an assassin.
Sandslash7 is like Cardzmaster2004, he is a veteran, and such a power player, and such a good player, that I am more impressed that he survived all the way until then end, then with his playing. Though, he also played as flawlessly as ever. I’m really surprised the wolves did not off him sooner. When I was a wolf, Sandslash7 always made my “kill ASAP” list. Sandslash7 is good, really good. He posts smartly, analyzed everything, and is as big of a Star Wars nerd as I am. If anything that made him the most dangerous and advantaged player in this game. As always Sandslash7 you showed just how good a player you are.
Lil Magma - Batman (Vigilante)
You are the night. You are vengeance. You….Are…BATMAN!!!!! There’s really not much to say here. Your mom and pop died cause of some mugger, so you went to a ninja school in Colorado, put on a cape, and started beating up mobsters and clowns for living. You are VERY good at what you do. You deliver a special brand of justice. Well it turns out the mugger who killed your parents? It was Emperor Palpatine. Small World eh? So now you seek revenge for all he put you through!
ROLE: Vigilante
You have two options with your role.
Option A.) Once during the night, you may PM me the name of any person. You will follow that person to the area they go to, and you will kill them. If they are a townie, you have a 25% chance of realizing it in time and not killing them.
Option B.) Once during the night, you may PM me the name of any area of the ship. You will go to that area and wait in the shadows. You will view a list of everyone active in that area of the ship (which I will provide) but will kill someone at random from that list. This time there is only a 10% chance you’ll stop the kill if it is a townie.
If you kill too many townies, you’ll kill yourself out of grief
If you kill the Alpha Wolf, or the Alpha Wolf be killed in another manner, you’ll lose your vigilante powers, and stop killing, and possibly gain a new role.
If another player views a list of players in the same area you are in, you will appear as “Shadow”
Win Condition: Town Wins
***Batman Notes***
After 5 townie kills, 3 of which must be in a row, Batman kills himself out of grief.
If the Alpha dies, Batman stops killing and gain a pseudo-detective role that still beats people up.
You may be wondering, why Batman? I always have some really out of place character in my games such as Yu-Gi-Oh, or Bobba Fett, or the Pink Panther Detective guy. In this case it was Batman. This was a pretty typical vigilante role. I added an extra rule about killing too many townies which would cause suicide. I also gave a chance of not killing townspeople. Especially with all the extra factions running around, 100% killing wasn’t needed on this role. I also included an information gathering role which would show who was in the room, but target a victim at random. The second option was not used once, perhaps it was too risky?
I’m not sure exactly how Lil_Magma played. He posted 3 times in the entire thread. I’m guessing his goal was to gather as little attention as possible. I would say this backfired, because people noticed how little he had posted. I can’t really say anything because he didn’t really post anything.
15.
Akane - Chewbacca
You are Chewbacca, the Wookie. Who doesn’t love you, you big walking carpet? You are a man…he-beast…dog…thing…Wookie of little words. You barely say anything other then grunt and growl. You’re here to help the rebels defeat the Empire, who frequently enslaves your kind to do manual labor. Any strike against the Empire is a good one.
ROLE: Speech Impediment
Because you are not a thing of many words, you can post only (3) three sentences (not including your vote) per post and they may NOT be run-ons You also may not quote anything a person says. Failure to do so once will result in a private warning, twice will result in a public warning, and three times will get you modkilled, so don’t forget.
ROLE 2: Powerful
However, your handicap comes with an advantage too. You may not talk much, but you are big, and you are strong. It takes TWO (2) extra votes more then the current amount of voted needed to lynch you when the village attempts to lynch you. Also if anyone tries to use a role on you during the night, you will beat them up and leave them bruised and bloodied the next day, with a 35% chance of preventing the role all together. If a wolf attacks you during the night, you might even have a surprise in store for them.
Each Night you will PM me with what area you want to hang out in for the night.
Win Condition : Town Wins
This is your typical Tank/Speech Impediment role. All defense, but with a handicap of being only able to post small posts.
Akane did one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. She disguised her speech impediment…with a fake speech impediment…which simultaneously revealed her role…without actually role revealing. That whole posting in Shyriiwook was 100% her own creation. It took me completely by surprise. I thought it was absolutely fantastic. A really cool move. Akane also proved that she was just as good at playing Werewolf as she was at enhancing roles. I have no doubt that she would have survived until the end of the game if she hadn’t been unlucky enough to be the only person in the mess when it collapsed.
16.
Arcanine/Arbok Master - Han Solo/ Mechanic
Dude, you are Harrison Ford, actor in such famous movies as “Star Wars”, “Indiana Jones”, and a whole bunch of other movies I don’t care about. This time you play Han Solo once more….only it’s not a movie and people want to kill you….hmm not a lot of room for motivation. Well at any rate, you are a smuggler, a scoundrel, captain of the Millennium Falcon and really good at getting out of tough situations. You led the advance strike team on the Imperial Glory, you lost most of your troops, so now you got to figure a way out of this mess.
ROLE: Mechanic
You’ve lived most of your life aboard your ship the Millennium Falcon. You’ve been with her for so long that you’ve gotten used to having to do minor and major maintenance on her. That’s why you never go anywhere without your trusty tool kit. As you boarded this ship you noticed that someone has been up to no good and has been messing with the ship’s functions. Once during the night you may PM me with any area of the ship. You will go to that area during the night and perform maintenance. If you repair an area that the saboteur was at, you’ll cancel out his effect and gain control over a part of the ship as a reward. If he isn’t there, you have a small chance of getting a bonus role out of it. Alternatively you may sacrifice one night of using your role to instead plant a trap to try and get the saboteur. If you use the latter role you will be unable to use your role during the next night, but if the saboteur tries to use his role on the area you rigged on either night, he will have a very high chance of being killed. You may only set 2 traps (4 total nights of traps) during the game, so use them wisely.
ROLE 2: Speech Impediment
You’re signature line is “I have a bad feeling about this.” Despite the fact that you always seem to make it through things unscathed, you like to constantly focus on what could and or is going wrong at the time. This is no exception. At least once in every post you make, at either the beginning or end of the post, you must make some reference to everyone’s inevitable doom. In other words you need one negative phrase per post.
Examples:
I have a bad feeling about this.
Great, we’re doomed.
*sarcasm* Sounds safe enough
I doubt we will make it through this alive
Feel free to use the above ones and variations of them. Don’t forget to make up your own as well. Do not use the same one twice if you can help it, be creative.
Win Condition: Town Wins
***Han Solo Notes***
-If Han Solo or anyone with the mechanic’s bag chooses the same area as the Imperial Officer, the effect is cancelled out. The Imperial Officer cannot affect any area the Mechanic/Han Solo is currently fixing. Additionally the effect will be given to Han Solo to use as his own.
-If Han Solo sets a trap and the Imperial Officer trips it, he will have a 75% chance of dying, and having burns on him if he survives.
-If Han Solo dies, he drops the Tool Kit which can be used for as many nights after as there are buttons left on the Imperial Officer’s Control Pad.
-If the area he chooses is not being affected by the Imperial Officer Han Solo has a 25% chance of getting a bonus role out of it.
-If Han Solo makes it past Night 7, he’ll gain a new set of parts to make another trap.
-If Han Solo is alive when the last button is pressed by the Imperial Officer, he will sacrifice himself to save others.
Han Solo is the direct counterpart and rival to the Imperial Officer. It was his job to specifically counter the Control pad. I gave him a speech impediment simply because I felt I needed another one in the mix. My choice for his speech impediment may have been slightly flawed. I can see the argument for him being cocky and confident, but I will forever associate Han Solo for being a downer before he becomes confident. Besides if you read the extended universe, you’ll realize just how often the writers have Han Solo say something really pessimistic only have Leia elbow him in the stomach or step on his foot to tell him to shut up. The role could block the Imperial Officer, and if the trap was used, outright kill him. The role itself never really came into effect. Han Solo and the Imperial Officer never actually chose the same room on any night. Even all 3 traps failed to hit the Imperial Officer. Han Solo however saved several lives when his time finally came.
I remember getting a PM from Arcanine/Arbok Master a while back saying he had read every Werewolf game page for page and couldn’t wait to play. That was before Lucario ex’s game, so it’s been more then a year. I am happy to say that AAM has proven himself to be an amazing player. Ironically he pegged PokemonFreak5 and Dragonclyne725 at various parts of the game as wolves, but at the time his accusations fell on deaf ears. When he finally went down, it was because one of his hidden rules activated. AAM sacrificed himself to stop PokemonFreak5’s suicide bomb that otherwise would have killed 2-3 people. AAM is really good at writing, and thinks logically. He’s another player I expect to see big things from in the future.
Pikajew1213 - Republic Trooper
You are a Republic Trooper part of the task force sent to attack the ship and thwart the Galactic Empire’s Scheme. Unfortunately, you were ambushed by the enemy and when everything started to fall apart, you lost your entire platoon. Now you are alone and although you still want the town to win, you are paranoid of every noise and fearful of what will happen next. Your only friend if your weapon.
ROLE: Last Stand
As a solider you always keep your weapon loaded. You are down to your last clip, and you are going to make it count. Once during the game, when you die (even if you are lynched), you will pull out your blaster pistol and take aim at the closest person to you, or last person who voted for you and fire. You have a 90% chance of taking them with you when you go down.
Each Night you will PM me with what area you want to hang out in for the night.
Win Condition: Town Wins
***Republic Trooper notes***
-If the Trooper dies and his gun does not succeed in killing someone, he will drop his gun and anyone can pick it up and get one free shot at any player during the day.
This is another defensive type role, this time based on being killed. It adds another item to the mix, but other then that is pretty straightforward.
Pikajew1213 really didn’t do anything too spectacular. He was only in the game for a short time, and by the time he joined, the game had entered its final stages. There really wasn’t much for him to do except keep the role alive. He ended up dying in a room explosion event that was completely luck based.
Jason - Crazy Scientist
You are an ex-imperial scientist gone mad. After performing countless horrible experiments on Pokémon prisoners, the guilt finally got to you and you snapped. You took various chemicals and killed your fellow scientists before attempting to torch the ship. Imperial guards came to put you down, but were interrupted when the rebels attacked. This gave you enough time to sneak into the shadows….unfortunately you are still zubat-crazy. You desperately want to make amends for the crimes you committed, but also have no sanity. You are a townsperson…barely.
ROLE: Gas
You have a lot of chemicals lying around, and you really want to use them for the greater good. That is why during the night you may either PM me the name of any person or an area of the ship. If you PM me the name of a person, you will follow that person to the area they go to and role-block them with knock-out gas. Alternatively if you PM me the name of an area, then you will go to that area and view a list of half the people in that area. You will then vent your gas through the air conditioning and randomly role-block 0-3 people on that list.
0 People: 50% chance
1 person: 25% chance
2 People: 15% chance
3 People: 10% chance
ROLE 2: Maximum Power
Instead of using your ROLE: Gas you may instead power it up. If you do, PM me that you’d like to use “Maximum Power” and which area you’d like to affect. You will then vent your chemicals through that area and everyone in that area will have a possibility of being role blocked. If you do, you will be unable to use your role for three (3) nights and will be confined to the Laboratory for those three (3) nights to remake your chemicals.
Win Condition: Town Wins
This was a really fun Area Effect role. Its main job was to throw certain people into the spotlight against there will. It also had the effect of showing where a certain person was during the night. It has the ability to clear a person, or make them really suspicious. The second role can really cause a lot of disruption and chaos.
I like Jason. He’s always a bit of wild card in these games. People always go after him, and he sometimes makes some really odd moves, but he isn’t a bad player. He likes to stay really quiet, but he’s not afraid to voice his opinion. He is also, as far as I know one of the few players to have played in EVERY Pokegym werewolf game. Jason did not get lynched this time however. He died when the Empire attacked Leafeon. They activated Leafon’s ability to absorb an attacker’s role which gave Baby Mario a killing role. Unfortunately baby mariotarget was Jason and thus he took down another townie as he died.
Dragonite15 - Crazy Prisoner
(Force Sensitive)
You are a Crazy Prisoner. The Empire took you from your planet, deprived you of freedom, kept you imprisoned and preformed countless terrible experiments on you. There goal was to infuse you with the ability to use the Force. They succeeded. While not a true Jedi, you have small skills with the force. They also succeeded in driving all sanity from your mind. When the Rebels attacked the Imperial Glory you managed to escape your cell. Now you want revenge on those who tortured you. If others get in your way, that’s too bad.
ROLE: Attack
Having just escaped from prison, you don’t have much in the way of supplies, an Electric Stun Rod, your fists, a fistful of experimental drugs and a whole lot of anger. That is why during the night you may either PM me the name of any person or an area of the ship. If you PM me the name of a person, you will follow that person to the area they go to and Either beat them up, burn them, or inject them with one of your drugs, which can have a variety of effects. Alternatively if you PM me the name of an area, then you will go to that area and view a list of half the people in that area. You will then hide in the shadows and randomly attack 0-3 people on that list.
0 People: 50% chance
1 person: 25% chance
2 People: 15% chance
3 People: 10% chance
ROLE 2: Rage Fueled Attack.
Instead of using your ROLE: Attack you may instead power it up. If you do, PM me that you’d like to use “Rage Fueled Attack” and which area you’d like to affect. You will then go on an unstoppable rampage, with a chance to affect every person in that area with either burns, bruises, or drug-induced effects. If you do, you will be unable to use your role for three (3) nights and will be confined to the Control Room for those three (3) nights to rest and lay-low to recharge for your next attack.
If another player views a list of players in the same area you are in, you will appear as “Shadow.”
Win Condition: Town Wins
This role is almost identical to the Crazy Scientist, except that this character appears a shadow in rooms. Just like the Scientist, the Crazy Prisoner’s role is to speed the game along. Throw people into the spotlight. Clear them of suspicion, or put them up for questioning. In a game of this size, these roles are essential. Without it, the game can get stale, and create dead ends for the day.
Dragonite15 played a good game. I feel like he could have been more aggressive when he was fighting for his life, but he didn’t play badly. When he finally got lynched, he had been caught lying about his role, and instead of fighting for his innocence, he just gave up. That being said, a few people actually took his submission as proof he wasn’t a wolf. It was unfortunate that he was unable to convince the rest of the town. Despite all that, he didn’t make any real mistakes, he just couldn’t convince the town.
Diaz - Lance: Pokémon Master
You are the Pokémon G-Man, Lance, Champion of the Elite 4 in Kanto, Pokémon Master. Having such powerful Pokémon, you were an obviously early target for the Empire who managed to steal your Pokémon. Promising to ally the Pokemon G-men’s resources and manpower to the Rebel Alliance, you were able to join them on a mission to beat the Empire. Now you have found yourself trapped on the Imperial Glory. You did however, retrieve your Pokémon from the ship’s laboratory before any harm befell your Pokémon. Unfortunately the ship is now in lockdown, which means you’ll need to fight to survive. Now your goal is to return the favor to the Rebel Alliance by helping them defeat the Empire. Your six Pokémon are your greatest resources in this task.
ROLE: I Choose You!
You’re Pokémon are your greatest tool. You may use any one of your Pokémon Each night. Each one has a different ability. What those abilities are, you’ll have to figure out on your own. However there are (3) catches.
A) Each Pokémon must be used at least once before you may use a Pokémon for the second time. You may use them in ANY ORDER you want
B) There is another Trainer out there. Your Rival. If your rival releases a Pokémon in the same area, you are acting in, the two Pokémon will battle, and only one role will succeed.
C) If you use your role on a Pokémon, or a Pokémon uses their role on you, then there is a chance that your Pokémon will battle it, and only one role will succeed.
Pokémon:
1: Salamence
2. Garchomp
3. Dragonite
4. Charizard
5. Altaria
6. Gyarados
Win Condition: Town Wins
***Lance Notes***
Pokémon:
1: Salamence: Potential to Role Block
2. Garchomp: Can shift a role(s?)
3. Dragonite: Potential to Protect
4. Charizard: Potential to Kill and burn people
5. Altaria: Potential to Seer
6. Gyarados: Potential to Post and Vote Block and beat up people
-When Lance dies, he drops any Poke balls that aren’t recharging
-If Lance battles in the same area as Cynthia, they will battle. Each Pokémon has a 50% chance of succeeding unless weakness is involved, in which case the chance chances to 70-30 against weakness
This role is a lot like my other Pokémon Trainer roles. It’s a variety role that can be used to fit the situation at hand. It’s a powerful role that is countered by the fact that if the other trainer, uses a role in the same room, only one will prevail. To a lesser extent, this applies to Pokémon as well, excluding Darth Pikachu and Dark Gardevoir, in which the Pokémon can fight the trainers for role usage. That didn’t happen very often. Only twice if I recall correctly. It’s also balanced by the fact that each Pokemon can only be used once each rotation. So after 6 nights of successful Pokémon usage, the cycle starts over again. When he died, he dropped five poke balls.
Diaz was the first to go during Night 1. It sucks, but it happens. It has happened to me before, and it sucks, but it happens. I will say that going off my last game, Diaz is crazy good. I can’t pinpoint exactly why, but I think it’s the tone in which it writes. It’s very persuasive, but at the same time aggressive and strong. The reason he was the first to go was based on how much a threat he was. I talked to Ikrit on aim during this game, and he told me Diaz was too dangerous to keep alive. Ironically however, Diaz’s death would be the reason the town beat the wolves. During Diaz’s death, Dragonclyne725 copied his character and became Lance. Had Diaz not been the strange wolf self kill, then the town would not have been able to compare Cynthia’s role to the supposal role of Dragonclyne725 and there is a high chance the wolves would have won because Sandslash may not have been able to bring enough proof against Dragonclyne725.
Win Condition: Town Wins
***Cynthia Notes***
1: Spirtomb: No items can be used during the night, and one person will be roleblocked
2. Rosarade: Poisons someone, burns another, confuses a third
3. Togekiss: Potential to protect or seer
4. Lucario: Can beat up, role block, and protect
5. Milotic: Allows a target to use role twice.
6. Garchomp: Potential to kill someone
-When Cynthia dies, she drops any Poke balls that aren’t recharging
-If Cynthia battles in the same area as Lance, they will battle. Each Pokémon has a 50% chance of succeeding unless weakness is involved, in which case the chance chances to 70-30 against weakness
This role is almost identical to Lance, but with different Pokémon and effects.
Napoleon is good at this game. Really good. He’s cold and calculating. He talked his way out of being lynched several times, and was one of the driving forces for the town’s victory. His posts are solid, his written tone is confident, and he is very subtle when he needs to be. I honestly thought Napoleon was a new player when this game started, but before day 1 was over, I realized just how experience he really was. Napoleon strikes me as the kind of player I would be tricked into attacking during the day if I were a wolf, then losing horribly and having myself lynched. I’m really surprised the wolves allowed him to live as long as he did. He’s good, and I easily recognize him as a power player.
ultimatedra -Special Forces Leader
(Mason Group)
You are Captain of Special Forces Team 6. You are part of a special unit that works with the Pokémon Trainer’s World Government and only deployed in the most dangerous situations. This is one of those situations. Pokémon have been disappearing, kidnapped by the Empire who has been performing terrible experiments on them. Now it’s your job to get them back and stop those responsible. You have chosen your moment wisely. The Rebels are leading an assault on the Imperial Glory and you were able to slip in during the chaos and set up your team. Now you and your team have allied yourself with the Rebels (the town) and are here to take down all threats they face.
You are here with your two most trusted teammates, Poke Dude Second in Command, and MagneBoar Private. You are a mason with them and you may converse with them at any time during the night via PM/AIM/IM etc. and discuss your strategy for the next day. If you die, you will pass your role onto your Second in Command.
ROLE: Infiltrate, Interrogate, and Annihilate
Once during the night, you my PM me, for each Special Forces Member that is still alive the name any living player (so you can choose three (3) while the entire team is alive, two (2) if one dies, and (1) if you are the only one left) to put on your “Most Wanted List.” Then choose an area for each Special Forces Team Member to stake-out in. Multiple members can be in the same area. Your team will then wait out the night in their respective areas and wait for anyone on the list to be in that area. What happens then depends on how many Special Force Members are in the area.
If one (1) Special Forces Member is in the same area as a “Most Wanted,” then that member will have a 90% chance of beating up the target, 35% of interrogating the target (detective role/results), and 25% of role blocking the target (and will be found tied up the next day). If you target anyone who is currently attempting to kill someone else, you have a 10% chance of killing them.
If there are two (2) Special Forces Members in the same area as a “Most Wanted” then the same thing will happen, but the number will jump to 95%, 50%, 35%, and 15% respectively
If all three (3) Special Forces Members are in the same area as a "Most Wanted", then the numbers change to 100%, 65%, 45%, and 25% respectively.
Even if multiple “Most Wanted” targets are in the same area (example, two targets with 1 Special Forces member), the role will reset and restart for each one with the same numbers as the previous
ROLE: NONE
You do not have a role at this time.
Win Condition: Town Wins
I’m going to discuss these three roles together because of how they interact.
This role is a bit complex, so bear with me. This role is based 100% on the room mechanic. The idea being that if the three work together as a team, the role can be extremely powerful, or it can spread them out for a lesser chance on more people. As the game progresses and rooms begin to disappear, this role would become much, much stronger. It was unfortunate, that Day 1, MagneBoar died, reducing the effectiveness of the role before the game even started, and Night 3, ultimatedra was targeted by the wolves. This left King Piplup who was the third replacement for this role I might add alone, without a team, and a role that only a third as effective as it should have been. As a result this role did almost nothing, except a few people being beaten up, and the occasional interrogation.
ultimatedra told me he is a D&D player. That means role-playing is his turf. Despite being new, he picked up on this game instantly, and also began trying to figure out any loopholes there might be. I can’t be mad cause I do the exact same thing when I play these games haha. ulti had it rough, he lost a team member day 1 and had a second team member that was completely inactive (and would be replaced twice.) He was taken out rather early which was odd considering this was his was only his first (or second maybe) werewolf game. That just goes to show how much of a threat he was appearing to be for the wolves. In the short time he played, he played very well.
King Piplup replaced Cardkeeper who posted once….and replaced Poke Dude who completely disappeared. Even more, after joining the game, he quickly found himself with an underpowered role and no team. Despite this King Piplup managed to become a key member in the town and ended up surviving until the end of the game. He played very well, posted strong, and was extremely good at analyzing updates. One thing in particular I noticed was that King Piplup was good at getting conversation going, often being one of the first people to post each day.
I can’t say much on MagneBoat. He was alive for less then a week, and posted very little. Getting lynched Day 1 sucks. It’s just like Diaz, it’s part of the game. Usually all it takes to be lynched Day 1 is to have an unfamiliar name, or to post something wrong. It’s all about luck, and sometimes you flip tails.
You are Eevee, a Pokémon who was captured by the Empire. The Empire wanted to figure out how evolution worked and how it connected to the Force, which all Pokémon seem to be connected to. So they captured you and preformed terrible experiments on you. Then, after days of torture and pain, when you had lost all hope, the Rebels came and attacked the ship, Imperial Glory . ROLE: Evolve
You can only choose one item, so choose carefully: Because you are the OLDER EEVEE, you can choose from the old evolutions. During this night of Evolution, you will be restricted to the Laboratory.
Once during the night, you may PM me any living person. You will shock that person and have an 85% chance of Role Blocking them. You will also have a 60% chance of shocking them so hard they receive electrical burns, and finally you have a 40% chance of being able to briefly control the direction they send their role and be able to choose who they target, though you won’t know what their role is. If you redirect their role, then they are not role-blocked, even if the role block was successful.
Also if someone uses a role on you, you have a 35% chance of blocking it and a 25% chance electrically burning them.
Be warned however, trying to role-block a role-blocker might have terrible consequences.
Win Condition: Town Wins [/B]
So first let me explain the Eevee role. It was first used in Cardzmaster2004’s first Werewolf game on Pokegym. I proceeded to shamelessly steal it and use it in every one of my Werewolf games. I really like it. The way it goes depends entirely on the player. The possibilites for the Older Eevee are the old eeveelutions. Flareon is a vigilante type roles which can be seen in my second Werewolf game. Jolteon, as seen here is a roleblocker type role, and Vaporeon is a defensive evasion type role. It’s a fun role that plays differently each time.
Lucario ex originally had this role, but she didn’t have the time to play the game. That was unfortunate because she’s a good player, and I like her play style. She was replaced by Spartacus who played for a while, but was ultimately replaced by JewelQuest. Boy was she excited when I sent her the role. Turns out she is a huge eeveelutions fan, so this was most perfect role she could ask for. Not only did she dive right into to her role, but she extremely active, and a really good player. She brought a really positive attitude to the game, and it was interesting to see other player interact with a normally not seen outlook. All in all, JewelQuest played very well and as a result survived the game.
Once during the night, you may PM me the name of any person. You will have a 40% chance of hitting them with Leech Seed and getting to use their role for the night. You may not target the same person twice. They still get to use their role as well.
Alternatively if someone targets you with a role, you have a 60% chance of absorbing it and getting to use it.
Be warned however, that targeting people who have many different role choices may confuse you and have terrible consequences
Win Condition: Town Wins
Another eeveelutions role, this time having the newer eevelutions as options. Espeon is a pseudo seer, Umbreon, a pseudo detective. Leafeon, as see can absorb and borrow roles from people, and Glaceon can vote block and leave people frozen in ice.
Baby Mario was also a new player to werewolf. That said, he did very well. He chose Leafeon, and ended up dying because he drew the lucky lotto number to become the wolves’ next victim. He almost survived too, but he attempted to use his role on Benzo, the purge trooper, who was immune to Force users. While he was alive, Baby Mario posted and played with the skill of someone much more experienced. He played a good game.
Victory Bell - Absol (Detective)
(Pokémon)
(Force Sensitive)
You are Absol, the Omen Pokémon. They say your ability to see into the future and foresee incoming disaster connects you to The Force as all Pokémon are. The Empire wanted to see what they could learn. They took you from your home and imprisoned you on the Imperial Glory. They preformed terrible experiments on you, and all but broke your spirit. Just as you had lost all hope however, the Rebels came and attacked. They had come to rescue you. Now you want to help your new friends, and take revenge on those who hurt you.
ROLE: Foresight
Once during the night, you may PM me the name of any living Character. You will then follow that character to whatever area they visit and spy on them from the shadows. You will then learn something about that character.
Win Condition: Town Wins
In a game of this size, I needed lots of detectives and pseudo detective. Absol is a straightforward detective, with literally nothing changed.
Victory Bell died night 2, so I didn’t get to see him post that much. He was the target of Lil_Magma’s vigilante attack. I can’t say too much, though I’ve seen Victory Bell play in the past and seems like a solid player for sure.
thunderjolt - Deoxys Speed Form
(Pokémon)
(Force Sensitive)
You are Deoxys, a Pokémon from Space. You are also a shape-shifter. The Empire captured you because they wanted to test how your abilities connected to the Force, and possibly use you to find the original source of the Force which all Pokemon are connected to. They captured you and put you through countless tests and experiments. Torturing you until you could no longer take it. All you wanted was escape. Now you have your chance. The Rebels have attacked the Imperial Glory and given you a moment to escape. Now you want nothing more then to help them defeat the Empire.
ROLE: Speed Form
For reasons unknown, you are stuck in Speed Form. As this is, your attack and defense are laughingly low. That’s ok though, because an enemy can’t hit what they can’t see. If someone targets you with a Non-Killing role, you have a 85% chance to avoid it. If someone targets you with a killing role, you have a 50% chance to avoid it. If you avoid the role, you then have a 15% chance of turning on your assailant and seeing who it was that attacked you.
ROLE 2: Speech Impediment
Because you are Deoxys, the DNA Pokémon, you have a DNA specific Speech impediment. Somewhere in each of your posts (top, bottom, or middle), you must post a string of genetic code. What does a string of genetic code look like?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DNA_codon_table
In short somewhere in your post, you must add at least seven (7) DIFFERENT codes from that table, but all together. You can use the same one more then once, but use a different code each post.
Example:
TTC TTA TTG CTT ATC GCT GAT
Failure to do so once will result in a private warning, twice will result in a public warning, and three times will result in a modkill and/or replacement. So don’t forget.
Every night, you will PM me an area you want to hang out in for the night.
Win Condition: Town Wins
This is another purely defensive/evasion role. I got the idea for the speech impediment from class one day and really liked the concept. The role is pretty straightforward
thunderjolt played much better then I thought he would. I had the pleasure of meeting him as it turns out he goes to the same league as me. thunderjolt attracted attention early on for his speech impediment and I pegged him as an early goner because of it. However it seemed that other people were garnering even more attention, and very few roles were used on him. It pushed him under the radar long enough for him to prove his innocence or at least move him from possible wolf to possible indie. Regardless, the town eventually figured him to be Deoxys and he was able to make it all the way to the end of the game.
Barkjon - Ralts
(Pokémon)
(Force Sensitive)
You are Ralts. You and your entire family were kidnapped by the Empire. The Empire wanted to test your telekinetic abilities and see how they connected you to the Force, like other Pokémon are connected to the Force. You were put through horrible and torturous tests before they simply threw you in a cage with no food or water, to see how long you would survive. You had lost all hope and had a broken spirit, when suddenly the Rebels attacked and the cells doors opened. Now you want to reunite with your family and hopefully teach these evildoers a lesson.
ROLE 1: Ally
You may during any Game Night, PM me the name of a living character. You will then go the area that person is in and become a mason with that person. You will be able to communicate with that person at any time during the Game Night. If that person dies, you may adopt another.
ROLE 2: Sibling
You are ALSO a sibling with both (Blitzer) Gardevoir and (Gallade) Gallade and you may converse with them at any time during the game night via PM/AIM/IM etc. and discuss your strategy for the next day.
If another player views a list of players in the same area you are in, you will appear as “Shadow”
Each Night you will PM me with what area of the ship you want to hang out in for the night.
Win Condition: Town Wins
Ralts the sibling to Dark Gardevoir and Gallade. Unlike Gardevoir and Gallade however, Ralts had not chance of surviving if his siblings dies. Instead he had the ability to adopt a second Mason partner. This could potentially give Ralts sway over three other people. A very powerful asset to have. Unfortunately, he didn’t live long enough to really abuse this ability.
Barkjon[/B[ played a good game, but really didn’t do anything memorable. He died night 4 when Dark Gardevoir bit the dust, so the game was just barely reaching it’s middle. I’ve seen Barkjon play before, so I know he’s a good player. I’m gussing he just didn’t have much to say this game.
Slowkingrocks - Gengar
(Pokémon)
(Force Sensitive)
You are Gengar, the Ghost Pokémon. You were captured by the Empire so that they could use you to learn about your ghostly powers, and see how you, like all Pokémon, are connected to the Force. They held you captive in a ghost-proof shield, and preformed horrible experiments on you. Once the Rebels attacked, you go your chance to escape. Now you plan on doing what you do best, causing chaos.
ROLE: Frighten
Once during the night, you may PM me the name of any living player. That player will be unable to vote during the next game day, but unable to say why. Also you have a 35% chance of post-blocking the target as well. If you post-block them, it will not take effect until 6 people have posted during the next game day.
If another player views a list of players in the same area you are in, you will appear as “Shadow”
Each Night you will PM me with what area of the ship you want to hang out in for the night.
Win Condition: Town Wins
A pretty simple disruption role. Every game needs one of these to spice things up a bit and throw a few names into the update.
Slowkingrocks played well, but didn’t do anything game-changing. He’s a solid player, and knows how to avoid attracting attention even while making pretty aggressive posts. He hit Cardzmaster2004 several times. When he finally died, it was because Pikamaster as Pokémon Hunter J got him.
31.
Z-man - Murkrow
(Pokémon)
You are Murkrow, the only Pokemon on board that isn’t “Force Sensitive” and unlike the other captured Pokémon, you were captured merely because you angered the Empire. During one of their raids, you decided to play a prank on them. A prank that involved stealing their guns and equipment. They didn’t like that. They captured you, and have been using you to test anything they deemed “unsafe” for other Pokémon. You knew it wasn’t long before the pain you felt from these experiments became fatal and knew you had to escape and soon. You got your chance however. The Rebels have attacked the Imperial Glory and you have been given a chance to escape and well…cause some more havoc.
ROLE: Item Switch
Some people never learn do they?
Once during the night, you may PM me the name of any area of the ship, or the name of any living person. If you PM me the name of an area of the ship, you will go to that area and view a list of everyone in that area who currently holds an item. If you PM me the name of a person, I will check to see if that person has an item. If they have an item, you will steal it from them for the night and be able to use it for one night. Your area will be the same as the person you target, and you will be restricted to that area for the night (and for the usage of any item you obtain) You cannot target the same person twice, but you can target the same item twice.
ROLE 2: Speech Impediment
You also have a speech impediment. You are a prankster, and love a good prank, especially your own. That is why, every time you post, you must include somewhere in the post, a line of laughter.
Example:
*Insert Post*
Hahahahah
*Insert Post*
Gwhahaha
*Insert Post
Tee Hee
Any kind of laughter will do, but be creative. If you forget once, it’s a private warning. Twice is a public warning, and three times can result in a modkill or replacement, so don’t forget.
Win Condition: Town Wins
I wanted a role that abused the multiple items I had in this game. Somewhere I read that Murkrow loved shiny things, so he made his way into my game. The role is pretty straightforward. He can use items that other people hold. His role works in two-parter. The first being that he reviews a room for potential targets, and the next night he can choose which one to borrow an item from. The speech impediemt was actually one I had planned to use on a different character who was scrapped from my game. I wanted to add a lot of speech impediments based on something Darth Pika once told me
“Speech impediments are sooo annoying. Everyone fakes them and it makes it annoying trying to read everyone’s posts.”
That was enough motivations for me.
Z-man is a very laid back player, and plays with a very laid back style. I know he wasn’t as active in my game because he was simultaneously hosting his own on Pokebeach, so I thank him for being as active as he was. Z-man is a good player and a fellow mod, so I have a lot of respect for him. He plays well, and can spot the tiny little details I like to throw in. He died because he was a victim of Pokémon Hunter J.
PokeChampofPokeBeach - Wobba Fett
You are Wobba Fett, the secret unknown brother of Boba Fett. You have all of his skills, and equipment….but you’re a big blue blob that the ladies just ignore. Despite technically being a Pokémon, you turned your back on your Pokémon heritage long ago, so for all intents and purposes, you’re not a Pokémon. You don’t know much about what’s going on here. Rebels, Empire, good guys bad guys. Being a Bounty Hunter, you don’t take sides. An anonymous third party has contacted you and asked you to go to the Imperial Glory and eliminate the Imperial experiments. They even paid up-front. Unfortunately, the Rebels came and disrupted your plans. Your plans at escape have also failed. Guess you’ll have to just make do with surviving until this entire mess is over. And if a few of these people who messed up your payday die in the process, so be it.
ROLE: Contract
During the Game-Day update, I will post an area of the ship that you anonymously left your Communications Device (Comm-Link) in (that I choose.) Anyone can choose to go to that area during the night to pick up the Comm-Link. The first person to PM me that wish to go after the Comm-Link will get it. If a person’s role involves following someone to their area, they will sacrifice that night’s role to get your Comm-Link. Others may be able to use their role while picking up your Comm-Link.
The contract changes each night. Chosen randomly from these options:
Kill: Kill, duh
Investigate: Investigate, duh
Intimidate: Vote block, beat up
Protect: Protect, duh
Intercept: Beat up, tie up, role block
No one can take the Comm-Link twice during the game. The first person to PM me saying they want to take the contract will get it. I will then PM them with instructions and once they respond, I will PM you telling you who contracted you to do what. You have the option to refuse it. Either way you remain anonymous. Remember that even if someone asks you to investigate someone, they get all the same info you get. Remember that if they hire you to kill someone....you might be caught doing their dirty work. Be careful and accept jobs with caution. Your area depends on what your contract wants you to do. Do what you need to do to survive.
Win Condition Stay alive until the game ends
*** Wobba Fett Notes***
-When Fett dies, he drops his Armor and Blaster. Anyone can pick up the Armor and Blaster. Whoever picks up the Armor and Blaster can choose any night to use it once, and gain full immunity and one night of a killing role. The next night it burns out of power and is discarded.
It took a surprisingly long time for people to figure out what the Commlink did, and even then it was only after PokeChampofPokeBeach role revealed. I enjoyed the role a lot in my last game, and really wanted to put it in this one. Wobba Fett has a very special place in this game. He has the ability to play on any side because his win condition is stay alive until the end of the game. The only time he can’t win is if someone’s win condition is “last man standing.” He also has a special part to play because even if he plays as a townie, he doesn’t count as one. So if there had been 5 townies and Wobba Fett alive, with a wolf remaining, the wolves would have won. Wobba Fett can play with the town, but he isn’t a town member.
PokeChampofPokeBeach did a fantastic job of staying under the radar. Even in the final days of the game, he literally at not point in time came under suspicion. He played very well and as a reward survived the game.
Pikamaster - Pokémon Hunter J
Pokémon Hunter J. You are a “collector.” That is to say, you collect Pokémon, dead or alive, that clients want, or Pokémon that you can sell to potential clients. When you heard the Empire had been collecting the most unique and special Pokémon for experiments, what else could you do other then raid the Empire. You arrived on the Imperial Glory and decided to make an attempt to steal every Pokémon they had, or failing that, made sure every Pokémon on there was killed. If you can’t profit from this venture, no one will.
ROLE: Hunt
Once during the night you may do one of the following:
A.) PM me the name of any area of the ship
If you PM me an area of the ship, you will go to that area and hide in the shadows. You will wait for any Pokémon to enter that area, and have a % chance of killing any specific Pokémon in that area. You can get multiple kills this way. The % chance depends on factors I have listed, that you do not know (nor will you find out).
B.) PM me the name of any living player
If you PM me the name of a living player, you will follow that player to whatever area they go to. If they area Pokémon, you attempt to kill them, and have a 90% chance of doing so. If they are not a Pokémon, you will leave. You are silent, and stealthy, however, be careful as the target may have noticed someone stalking them.
Win Condition
-All Pokémon are dead or removed from the game
-Survive until the game ends
This was a fun indie role. It had the similar “survive until the end,” but with the an added, “all Pokémon must be dead.” This meant that the wolves could win, and Pokémon Hunter J would win as well, bearing that Darth Pikachu and Dark Gardavoir were also dead. The same went for the town. As long as all the Pokémon bit the dust, Pokémon Hunter J could win. Her role was a modified vigilante/serial killer role. It had just enough chance to kill Pokémon to be effective, but enough chance of failure to not be over-powered. Overall a fun role.
Pikamaster like jellyfisher and DarthPika is a force to be reckoned with. He’s a good player and a worthy poster. No one ever actually question him or put him under suspicion. He died when the Control Room exploded, but I highly believe that he could have made it to the end if he had continued to play as he had. At one point he asked who was a Pokémon, and people actually answered him. Things were lining up nicely for him. Unfortunately fate had other plans.
Porii Sames - Politician J. G. Salmon
You are J.G. Salmon, running for Chief of State of the civilized galaxy. Or at least, you were. The Empire took you as a Political Prisoner, and you’ve been on the Imperial Glory ever since, imprisoned. Now you’ve gotten your chance to escape and well…that’s going to be hard to do. Well guess there’s only two things you can do. Survive….and campaign.
ROLE: Campaigning
Once during the night, you may PM me an area of the ship and the name of any living player. You will plaster that area with posters of “Vote for “*insert player name*.” You’re not entirely sure if this will help or not, but so long as it keeps everyone from targeting you, and as long as you escape when this is over, it doesn’t matter. So a few innocents get hurt along the way? You’ll send their families gift baskets when you escape.
Win Condition Survive until the game ends.
I won’t lie. When the game started, I asked for 41 players because odd numbers tend to better then even. As I started handing out roles I realized something. I only had 40. Embarrassed that I had somehow forgot to replace “add indie role here” with an actual role, I conjured up this guy. I actually really liked it. It was a good disruption role. A good way to throw someone under the bus without having to post anything about it. You may notice that this all the independents have “survive until the end” as part of their win condition. I dislike last man standing roles because of the havok they cause and how they can drag on the night. That said, I believe independents are important because they can play without having to play specifically for one side, they can play selfishly for survival. They can also play for a specific faction, but without counting towards that faction’s numbers.
Porii Sames is a very…sporatic. Sometimes he’d make a good post, followed by a strange one, then a bad one, then another good one. Untimely his posting did not impress the town who lynched him on Day 2.
35.
Waynegg - Darth Cyrus
(Dark Jedi)
(Force Sensitive)
You are Darth Cyrus. Former apprentice to Emperor Palpatine. You helped him in the last werewolf game obtain Arceus through the power of Team Black Hole. Now the Emperor has learned that Pokémon are connected to the Force. He is using that connection to fuel his own power, and to expand his reign. He exposed you to your connection to the Force and turned you into a Dark Jedi. However, early on, you discovered that you were much more powerful than him, and attempted to take him down. You failed. Now you have returned, more powerful than ever, with an apprentice of your own. To take down the Empire and the Jedi once and for all, and rule the galaxy. In order to do this however, you will need followers to stand by you.
You are the Cultist. You are a Cultist with theKing Giovanni. Each night, you get to converse with him and decide what your actions will be in the following days.
ROLE: Recruit
Once during the night, you may PM me the name of any living player in the game. You will then go to the area of that player and “recruit” him/her. That player will have a strange tattoo on their arm the next day, and no memory of what occurred (in other words I won’t tell them.) That player has successfully be recruited into the Sith Cult. Some players are 100% recruit-able, other players have a chance to be recruited, and some are un-recruit-able.
You cannot contact your recruits, and your recruits don’t even know who you are, or who each other are. Their programming will activate if your win condition becomes met or when certain criteria activates certain situations.
Win Condition
-Dark Jedi are Eliminated
-Jedi are Eliminated
-Recruits equal or outnumber the remaining townspeople
***Darth Cyrus Notes***
-Wolfs and Independents have only a 50% of recruitment
-Detectives and Priests have only a 85% chance of being recruited
-Jedi and Dark Jedi cannot be recruited, but can be killed based on how many are on their team.
So let me start with some background on this role. After experimenting with a 3rd pary faction with Team Black Hole, I really wanted to do it again, but with Cultists. The Cultist is a very controversial role in Werewolf due to it’s ability to get extremely overpowered and broke extremely fast. In fact a lot of MafiaScum games don’t allow the Cultist role for that reason. I was determined to make it work though and did so by making the recruited only part of the Sith Cult team during certain situations, and otherwise unaware of themselves or others being part of the Sith. I feel like it worked extremely well. The way the role worked is that Cyrus could target anyone for recruitment. If successful, that person got a tattoo on there arm. If he targeted a Jedi or Dark Jedi, the situation depending on a few scenarios. If he targeted Palpatine while Darth Pikachu was a live, or vice versa, then he had 0% chance of touching either one. Once one of them died however, as long as Cyrus had at least 2 recruits plus himself, he had the ability to kill Palpatine or Darth Pikachu. Likewise with the Jedi, so long as he outnumbered the Jedi he would kill his target. Otherwise it would end in a stalemate. I’ll get to that in more detail when I explain the Jedi roles below. People with tattoos would become Sith during the night, and only when a fight with the Jedi or other character broke out. Otherwise they used their role as normal, and could appear in the update doing both. This particularly threw off the number for some people trying to figure out who was a Sith. Cyrus died early on and was the victim of the Jedi kill ability. They knew who he was based on one of their earlier abilities, which I will explain below. This was an interesting change in events because I had built up Cyrus to be a main villain of this game. His early death however allowed me to really develop Giovanni as a villain.
Waynegg is a smart guy. I know him in real life and knew he would play this game and this role very well. I also played as his mason partner in Cardzmaster2004’s last Werewolf game. He’s really good at adapting to the situation, and his death was due to the entire Jedi faction figuring out who he was and taking him out. Even so, while he was alive, he played an excellent game, and I look forward to seeing him play in the future.
theKing - Giovanni (Cultist)
(Cultist)
You are Giovanni. Former leader of Team Rocket. Everyone thought you were dead. Everybody was right. Rather, you are a clone of the original Giovanni, infused with the Force, and brought back to life with your old memoires. Darth Cyrus offered you power and world domination. You eagerly accepted. Now you are working alongside Darth Cyrus to bring down the Rebels and the Empire, and bring about the Era of the rule of Darth Cyrus.
You are the Cultist. You are a Cultist with Waynegg Darth Cyrus. Each night, you get to converse with him and decide what your actions will be in the following days.
ROLE: Spy
Once during the night, you may PM me the name of any area of the ship. You will go to that area and have a 50% chance of viewing one random person doing something.
Win Condition
-All other Dark Jedi Eliminated
-Jedi are Eliminated
-Recruits equal or outnumber the remaining townspeople
***Giovanni Notes***
-When Cyrus dies, Giovanni inherits his roles
First off, while Giovanni and Cyrus were teammate, they counted only as one Cultists at a time, even when they were both alive. Giovanni’s role was to take over Cyrus’s role when he fell. He had a pseudo detective role as well, but it was random, so he had no control of who it targeted. Cyrus died really early on. This left me to write Giovanni as the main Sith Cult villain. I have to say it was a lot of fun. Giovanni had this touch of craziness that went well with his evilness, and I really enjoyed writing Lightsaber battles with him.
TheKing is another really good player. I knew he and Waynegg would work very well together. TheKing plays like Sandslash7 he’s very active, has an opinion on almost everything and is extremely hard to win an argument against. I can’t remember why, but at some point TheKing straight out admitted to being Giovanni. It was right after Palpatine had died, and I can’t remember the exact reason he admitted to this, but the town didn’t take to kindly to it. They lynched him almost immediately afterward. I can’t help but feel it was a bit of a misplay. Other then that though, TheKing played an excellent game.
***Jedi Notes***
-The Jedi are game changers. During Night 5, after the final Jedi role is used, the Jedi will split up, based on the roles they chose, and their results, and join their new groups.
-After this split, the Jedi may no longer communicate with each other and lose their original abilities to be replaced by new roles and abilities
-At least one will become a wolf/Sith Cultist (Kill)
-At least three will become a townsperson (Seer)(Defend)(Spy)
-At least one will become an independent (Manipulate)
-If another one becomes a wolf, he will instead become part of the Sith cult and vice versa
Let me first explain the idea behind the Jedi mechanic. The Jedi were a group of 5 people with identical roles. They were in a mason and could communicate. Up until Night 5, each one would a get a chance to choose from a list of roles that the group would use during the night. Unbeknownst to them, they were also choosing their fates. The two who chose Defend and Seer would become townies. The one who chose kill would turn to the Dark Side and become a wolf or a Sith Cultist. The one who chose manipulate would become an independent, and the one who chose spy had a chance to join any group. The objective behind these roles were “Force Multipliers.” They would be that extra man that a faction needed to win the game, an extra wolf, or a spare townsperson. Until Night 5 they had no alignment, so they played with only survival as a goal. During Night 5, all 5 remembered who they were
At some point you were fighting for your life on the Imperial Glory and a large explosion gave you amnesia. You lost your memory and ever since have been traveling with the other Jedi, who too lost their memory. Now your memories are coming back to you, but not all of them. Kezzup – Luke Skywalker
I’m grouping these three together because of how their roles interact. jpulice, Benson, and Kezzup chose Seer, Defend, and Spy respectively. This got them position of the townie. There roles all would have interacted in some way. jpulicep and Benson had recruiting roles that were directly to counter the Sith Cults. They could target anyone for recruitment. Those who were recruited got a badge. It then became an battle of number between the Sith Cult and the Jedi. The few times they engadged each other in combat, they both had 3 people total, so no one ever won, however had either side had more recruits then the other, said target would have died. The same rules applied in a similar fashion to the Empire. Attacking Palpatine or Darth Pikachu depending both on numbers and whether both of them were alive at the time. jpulicee and Benson could only use their roles on opposite nights, which amounted to 1 recruit per night. If they tried to recruit one another, then they would have found each other, become a mason, and gained a +1 to their numbers by counting each other. Then there is Luke Skywalker. You will notice I did not write a role for Kezzup he died during day 4, so I did’t bother translating my notes on Luke Skywalker to an actual role, but in short his role would have been a number multiplier for the Jedi recruitment. He would have to try and get the attention of the jedi, and if either Benson or jpulice recruited him, their numbers would have gotten a free +2. However his death removed him from the game before he ever got a chance to get his new role.
Kezzup played in previous games, and I’ve seen him to be a good player, but it seemed like he just didn’t give it his all this time. He was lynched based on his inactivity, and its too bad because I’ve seen him play and know he’s a decent player.
jpulice played an excellent game and he almost won it for the Jedi. He went down when the Empire targeted him for death and there was nothing he could do, though I think he had a really cool fight scene. jpulice got Kyle Katarn, who is one of my favorite Star Wars characters. I think this was jpulice’s first game, and if it was, I was really impressed. He played extremely well, and I really enjoyed his insight on the game. He was a really solid player, and played very well. Had the Empire not marked him for death after it was confirmed he was the final Jedi, he would have most likely made it to the end of the game. When Benson died, Kyle Katarn got the ability to Enlist every night instead of every other night.
Benson had really bad luck and he should not have died when he did. Benson received a PM from one the wolves. The wolf had intended to send the message to Benzo and sent it the Benson by mistake. I was in a really bad situation. My first plan was to kill said wolf, and have Benzo take his place, but with the Empire needing the Jedi dead, and Benson knowing the identity of every Jedi, that would not work. I spent a long time trying to figure out what to do and in the end told the wolves that they had to make Benson their night kill. It was a crappy situation, and I apologize to Benson for it, but I’m sure you understand.
(Dark Jedi)
Back from the dead! You are Mr. X. You are undying. A death here means only revival in future Werewolf games. You are here for one purpose and one purpose only. To kill all other players. No one likes you, and you hate everyone. Now you have discovered you have the powers of the Dark Side. Empire, Sith, Jedi, Rebel, Pokemon, NONE SHALL STAND IN THE WAY of your victory! In the last Werewolf game, you almost succeeded, but you were thwarted by the town. Now you have returned, angry, more powerful, and thirsting for revenge. At some point you were fighting for your life on the Imperial Glory and a large explosion gave you amnesia. You lost your memory, and in a last ditch effort to conceal your identity, you transformed into a Lucario to hide from other and ever since have been traveling with the other Jedi, who too lost their memory. Now your memories are coming back to you, but not all of them. You still don’t know who you can trust. You can no longer trust jpulice, gallade, or Benson. At least not until you figure out who they are. As such You may NO LONGER communicate with jpulice, gallade, or Benson and should treat them as you would treat any other player that you do not know the alignment of. They in turn, have been instructed to no longer contact you.
ROLE: X-Treme Prejudice
Once during the night, you may PM me that you wish to use X-Treme Prejudice. I will then use a randomizer which will grant you any (1) out of (8) roles to use during the night. You are allowed to target your former teammates.
Speech Impediment
You are pure evil, but you can’t let anyone know your intentions. That is every post you make must include an emoticon. It can be one you create using keys on the keyboard, or it can be one included on Pokegym’s Advanced Post Interface.
You must post an emoticon every time you post, even in vote-posts. Failure to do so once will result in a private warning, twice in a public warning, and three times in a modkill/replacement.
Win Condition Last Man Standing
***Dark Lord Mr. X Notes***
-Should all killing roles be removed, and Dark Lord Mr. X is still alive, he loses his role and gains a nightly killing role.
-If Dark Lord Mr. X. targets a Jedi or Dark Jedi with any effect of his role, a randomizer will be used, and if the % is high enough the role works, a certain % and he kills his victim instead, otherwise his role fails.
So before I get too far, let me explain the story of Mr. X to those to who not know. In the first Werewolf game, a certain player (who will remain unnamed) died early on and wasn’t happy. His friend happened to be a wolf, and happened to leave Pokegym open on his laptop one day at league. Said player saw the name of the other wolves and sent a PM to other player under the username “Mr X” telling them the other wolves and inwhat order too lynch them. Since then “Mr. X” has become something of a Werewolf iconic villain. He appears in many games, and in particular, all of my game. So in this case, DarthPika became the independent and got the Dark Lord Mr. X. This was the only “Last Man Standing” role I would permit, and to prevent what happened in my last game, where it dragged on until Mr. X was lynched, I added a special rule stating that if no killing roles were left in the game, Mr. X received one to help speed things along. That didn’t happen however.
DarthPika is a really good player. Really good. He ranks up there with Cardzmaster2004 and Sandslash7. The few times I’ve played against him I stay away from attacking him simply because I don’t win arguments against him. He a really good players, and had he not died Night 5, he might have gone really far. Speaking of his death, I’ll explain this one, because it’s a goodie. Ok so Night 5, Benson decided to use Protect on DarthPika AKA Lucario. The same time, Dave628 uses his priest protection on DarthPika. Now the Jedi defense only workd against physical roles, and could only handle one killing role at a time. So when Giovanni and the Sith showed up after targeting DarthPika, the Jedi stalled and fought them. At the same time the Empire showed up to kill Lucario, but he was protected by a barrier. It was too bad for DarthPika that at this time, the Control Room began to fall apart, and poor Dave628 was killed, which simultaneously dissolved the barrier protecting DarthPika. This allowed the Empire to attack DarthPika who then transformed into The Dark Lord Mr. X and led to a pretty epic fight between Darth Pikachu and DarthPika
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In a shocking turn of events, you have gotten your memory back.
You remember who you are.
You are:
Gallade: Jedi Apprentice

gallade – Gallade, Jedi Apprentice: Turned to the Dark Side
(Jedi)
(Pokemon)
(Force Sensitive)

You are a Gallade who is gifted in the Force. Enough so that at some point in time, the Jedi took and interest in you and trained you in the art of being a Jedi. You have since then been fighting for the republic and the last remnants of the Jedi Order. However during your fighting on the Imperial Glory both your siblings, Gardavoir and Ralts were killed. By sheer willpower you survived, but you lost yourself, and succumbed to the Dark Side. Now you want revenge on those you were responsible for your siblings death. The Jedi, the Rebellion, all shall fall. How you do that does not matter, but you cannot do it alone. As such, you must somehow get into contact with either the Empire or whomever is now controlling the Sith Cult. You’ll have to get the attention of one of them in order to join them and exact your vengeance. At some point you were fighting for your life on the Imperial Glory and a large explosion gave you amnesia. You lost your memory and ever since have been traveling with the other Jedi, who too lost their memory. Now your memories are coming back to you, but not all of them. You still don’t know who you can trust. You can no longer trust jpulice, DarthPika, or Benson. At least not until you figure out who they are. As such You may no longer communicate with jpulice, DarthPika, or Benson and should treat them as you would treat any other player that you do not know the alignment of. They in turn, have been instructed to no longer contact you

Role: Search
You have turned to the Dark Side. If you are to have your revenge, you need to join forces with either the Sith Cult, or the Empire. In order to do that, you must somehow get one of them to target you during the night with any role (even a killing one). If the Empire targets you, you will join them. If the Sith Cult targets you, you will join them instead. You can only join one team, and can only join them if they target you with a role.

Win Condition: Join either the Empire or the Sith and win alongside them using whatever win condition they have

------------------------------------------

That guy in the update who up and wasted Giovanni, then stole his place as leader of the Sith. Yep, that's you. Your previous role stated:

Role: Search
You have turned to the Dark Side. If you are to have your revenge, you need to join forces with either the Sith Cult, or the Empire. In order to do that, you must somehow get one of them to target you during the night with any role (even a killing one). If the Empire targets you, you will join them. If the Sith Cult targets you, you will join them instead. You can only join one team, and can only join them if they target you with a role.

Win Condition: Join either the Empire or the Sith and win alongside them using whatever win condition they have

There was a hidden way to join that I did not tell you about. If the Empire were to reach one member, or both of the Sith Leaders were eliminated, you would join the respective team. In this case, Giovanni and Cyrus both fell before the Empire reached one member or targeted you.

You are now:
gallade – Gallade, Sith Warrior, Sith Cult Leader
(Jedi)
(Pokemon)
(Force Sensitive)

When Giovanni fell, you saw your chance to take over the Sith cult and use if for your own means of exacting revenge on the Jedi. You have become the newest Sith Cult leader. Your fall to the Dark Side is now complete. You have embraced the way of the Sith, and now use emotion and anger to fuel your power, and achieve your goals.

You are the Cultist.

ROLE: Recruit
Once during the night, you may PM me the name of any living player in the game. You will then go to the area of that player and “recruit” him/her. That player will have a strange tattoo on their arm the next day, and no memory of what occurred (in other words I won’t tell them.) That player has successfully been recruited into the Sith Cult. Some players are 100% recruit-able, other players have a chance to be recruited, and some are un-recruit-able.

You cannot contact your recruits, and your recruits don’t even know who you are, or who each other are. Their programming will activate if your win condition becomes met or when certain criteria activates certain situations.

Win Condition
-Dark Jedi are Eliminated
-Jedi are Eliminated
-Recruits equal or outnumber the remaining townspeople

Oh man, this was one of my favorite role of the game. Before I get farther, the fact that gallade got Gallade is 100% coincidence. Anyways, gallade started out as a normal Jedi, but chose the kill option. He killed Darth Cyrus, but lost his way and went down the path of the Dark side Night 5. Also I want to point out that the reason Gallade survived when Dark Gardavoir died was due to that small percentage chance of survival I mention on Dark Gardy. It applied to Gallade too, and he was able to get the roll needed. Anyways. After going to the Dark Side, he adopted a role that required him to attempted to get the attention of either the Empire or the Sith. If they targeted him, he would join their faction and adopt their win condition. There was another way however. If either of those factions lost all of their member before he was targeted, as happened with the Sith Cult. Gallade would automatically join said group. Thus he joined the Sith Cult when Giovanni died, and became the final Sith Member.

gallade almost won. He was so close that during Day 11, I was spending my classes doodling out number on how long it would take him to win. The answer was 1 night. If he wasn’t lynched day 11, and a townie was killed, and he recruited another townie, and the wolf killed a second townie, then gallade would have won the game for the Sith. I really wanted to see him win, I already had the update planned, and was disappointed when he was finally lynched after being so close to victory. gallade played a really good game. He made it to Day 11, and stayed under the radar the entire time. Even though he was Dragonite15’s target multiple times and fell under suspicions many times, he managed to talk his way out of trouble and make it to the very end. To that I say, good *** gallade, good game. You are a smart player, a solid poster, and good at keeping just below the radar. I can’t wait to see you play in future games.

Some Closing Statements

So first off, let me once again thank everyone for playing. It’s been a long game. I had a blast, and hope you did to. I apologize to those who died early on and congratulate those who survived. This was, in my very biased opinion, the greatest Werewolf game Pokegym has ever had. It was certainly the longest lasting at a whopping 102 Pages, 2,545 Posts, 87,706+ views and spanning 251 days. We had 41 players enter the game, and 7 lived to tell the tale. One of the things I’m most proud of in this game is that we did not have a single Random Lynch day (excluding Day 1). Every single lynched was fueled by discussion and lasted until the very end, usually not even getting the majority. There was more debate and discussion in this game then I’ve ever seen before. Every player gave it there all, and I had a blast modding this game. So depending on how often you talk to me, you know this is in fact, my last Werewolf game I will host. As you can tell by the massive delays I had in this game, I simply do not have the free time I used to have. With college and the Army taking up my life right now, I wouldn’t have time to host another Werewolf game even if I wanted to. There’s another issue. I’m completely out of tricks. I pulled out all the stops in this game, but there’s nothing left for me to do. It would be almost impossible for me to top this game. So all in all, I don’t have the time, nor do I have any more ideas for another game.

You might be saying at this point “Wait a minute Absoltrainer, you’re ended is clearly open ended, and set up for a sequel!”

To that I say, you’re right. I can’t do a sequel right now. My life is way to hectic. I don’t plan on doing a sequel either for a long long time. That said, should a time come when I have free-time, ideas, and the motivation to host another Pokegym Werewolf game, I’ll have a theme all set to go. Besides, it will take Arceus a few years to gather his Army anyways = ). I just want to finish by saying that you the players made this happen. I wrote the updates and handled the roles, but you guys shaped the story. I have ideas for updates, but I usually don’t write them until every role is in. You guys shape this story and determine the outcome. Thank you for such an amazing experience.

So that’s it Pokegym. That is Werewolf XV. Congratulations to the victors, and thank you for playing.

Please don’t forget if you made your profile invisible, that you can turn it back to normal

I have just one last thing to ask of you, the players:

1.) Give me your full and honest opinions on the game
2.) Ask any questions you want to ask
3.) Give yourself a round of applause for helping to shape and create this awsome experiance!

THANK YOU FOR PLAYING!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I wasn't in the game long, but I have followed it through the months.

Absoltrainer set himself a massive task (that sometimes seemed impossible), but in the end he pulled off something epic.

Great job everyone.

Just read the part up to the video and watched. Nice video, very much enjoyed it.

Nominating SS7 for MVP. Honestly, that one post you made that called out DragonClyne was incredible. You are the best player on the gym.

IKRIT:
QUOTE FROM AT:
They chose to target him because someone (I can’t remember who) straight up pinpointed Ikrit as a wolf, specifically Palpatine. I think it was Scottistru, but they somehow figured out exactly who Ikrit was. I know he got a neutral detective read on Ikrit and found that interesting. Specifically he got the PM “You receive no information,” but I remember him being excited by that PM. Whoever that was, please explain how you figured that out. All in all, Ikrit in an amazing player.

Honestly AT, that is kind of a giveaway. If I had received that specific PM about someone, I would have almost certainly encouraged the town to vote for them the next day.
Ikrit, you played well EXCEPT when you voted off Cabd in the stand-off. It was too fishy. You first declared you were going to make the lynch if no one had done it in a couple of days, and then you vote off the wolf (but the town had essentially already decided to lynch him anyways). No offense, but that was a bad play. It was too WIFOM and it drew attention to you. Simply not doing anything would have resulted in the same lynch and less attention being cast in your direction. You played well, but there was really nothing you could do to escape that "THIS IS EMPEROR PALPATINE" Pm that was sent out. See my post #1883. When you voted off Cabd my mind IMMEDIATELY recalled LEX throwing P99 under the bus to make herself less suspicious 2 games ago.

DRAGONCLYNE725:
You played an AMAZING game. Well done. You were completely off my radar all game, and I had several other wolves in it. Night 2, you switched your vote from E4A to Porii Sames after I started my last minute campaign for Porii..Then you switched back to E4A. When it turned out that Porii was not a wolf, I immediately figure you had to be not a wolf. I kept that idea in my mind all game. You played solidly. Unfortunately PF5 made the mistake of associating himself with you (oops, AT mentioned this already as well), but even more than that: SS7 made the greatest WW post I have ever read to call you out. Not much you could do to stop him there.

PF5:
You were my rival and I honestly suspected it all game despite having any solid evidence. Your vote on day 1 on Blitzer was a horrid move. I picked up on that immediately when Blitzer died and I went through old posts to see if any votes were ever cast for him..and I found yours..on day 1. Out of left field of a completely different stadium. Wolves, you guys have to stop drawing that sort of attention to yourselves. The WIFOM plays draw attention to you, which is ALWAYS bad. Also, again, associating yourself with DC725 was another WIFOM play that brought unwanted attention to your last shot of winning.

Blitzer/ BarkJon
I really dislike these type of roles AT. Any suicide sibling roles are kinda unfair / unfun to those that get them. Also, recycling the old fashioned 3 siblings with a different alignment was 100% predictable and pretty old.

Redados1:
Solid first game. I think you made the right call to out PF5.

Toxictapian:
Haha, you kinda copied my role from LEX's last game except gave it a 3 day delay. Didn't like dying on day 1 I see :(, but I can't blame you. It was a little sad to sit out the whole rest of the game with you.

Arcanine/Arbok Master:
Ya, I'm going to talk about my own performance: deal with it. I had this grand scheme around day 2 I think. I casually popped the question asking if anyone else couldn't target the same room two nights in a row. I was hoping that my counterpart had correctly guessed I was in the control room night 1 (since the update mentioned my toolbox / enough info to identify me if you knew what to look for). I then trapped the control room on night 2 and figured my rival might specifically target it because I would be unable to be in that room to stop him the next night. Unfortunately I think my post went fairly unnoticed. I don't think PF5 realized I was his rival until the very end.
I tried to make my move on PF5 at post 1694, but no one wanted to join me on that wagon. I was 90% sure at that point that PF5 was an imperial.

Diaz:
If I ever end up as a wolf, I would lynch you early as well. Take that as a compliment :)

Baby Mario:
Sorry to have accused so earl y in the game. AT, I swear you edited info about where the wolves scattered to out of the update >.>. I still stand by that.

Napoleon:
You played a great game, and I must admit I laughed for about 5 minutes straight after reading the gem you posted at 1768. It is only truly funny if you read my post right above it first.

Gallade:
AT I don't believe you for a second that Gallade rolled that 15% chance to survive ;). Also, I think the cult structure you had this game was kind of imbalanced. Instead of outnumbering the remaining townies, I think they should have had to tattoo all remaining players. Then you could take away the very specific counters to these roles (Kezzup as Luke Skywalker who apparently would have made the number of jedi double or something).

@AT:
I know I scattered my opinions of the game above, but I'll respond here too:
1. I felt the sith cult had an incredibly easy win condition, but had some hard counters (Kezzup). I don't think this was good game design. As I said, I think they should have a more difficult win condition, but less hard-counters and perhaps some passive defenses in their roles.

I also didn't like the blatant recycling of past roles (3x siblings each with a different alignment and suicidal, cynthia/lance = red/blue, wobba fett = boba fett, Batman(?), flareon = pokemon hunter J, Gengar was the same too?, MR.X). I realize it is hard to come up with 41 totally original roles and that old flashbacks can be fun, but...The sibling roles were 100% predictable. The main reason I knew gallade was sith was because he had admitted to being the Gallade and I KNEW that character was going to end up evil. Turns out it wasn't guaranteed to be that way, but it had a very high chance.

Next time give the Alpha wolf a townie read for seers. This one was a bit obvious.

I really enjoyed the room mechanics. I think that for games this large, what you did was a great idea. It slows down the chaos of 41 roles going off at one time, and scaled well late game.

Props on Dclyne's role. That one was interesting. SS7 did a fantastic job picking up on that, because I know I certainly wasn't thinking along those lines at all.

The updates were also amazing. I think I am hosting the next game, and I really wanted to go before you because I knew you would do something amazing with yours. lol.

Good choice of theme as well. I feel like a lot of people enjoy star wars even if they aren't hardcore fans. That's definitely how I felt at least.

I dislike Akane's speech impediment. I know you had Steelix in your last game as well. I dislike this one, because it kills the essence of the game. Players should all be allowed to make good posts that are logical and oftentimes long so that they can make complicated points. By restricting someone to 3 sentences, you are ruining THE fundamental part of the game. I realize that there are roles that post-block a person, which is ok. At least those do not permanently stop someone from being a contributor and can be used tactically by whoever has them (unlike the passive effect which is just kind of there and annoying)

2. Questions: So the 5 jedi that lost their memories...their CHARACTER was pre-decided but their ALIGNMENT was not? So jpulice was Kyle Katarn since the beginning of the game, but had a chance to become Mr. X if he chose the wrong role?
About randomizing. Can you explain in a bit more detail your process for initially grouping people? you mentioned something about having an extra person in each group or sliding them into another if one was imbalanced? I don't fully understand.
What exactly were the correspondence letters? I mean, you didn't make any note of them in your game summary.

Thanks for the great game!

Thank you Jeff, such a really good game. Pity that I died so early on... Oh well.

Anyways, keen for another one! :D

Too be honest, it's true that I probably shouldn't have been able to find roles for 75% of the living people based on the previous game :rolleyes:.

Amazing game, more thoughts to come later.

Amazing game, I'm so glad I got to play to the very last second of it. Thank you Absoltrainer, that was the most fun Werewolf I have ever played. You have in my opinion created the most complex werewolf game I've ever seen.

I'm not going to talk too much about how I played this game, mostly because I don't quite remember why I did everything that I did. The thing that burned me the most in this game was mis-reading my role. I had interpreted it as "last man standing" and as such I could have been much more flexible during some of the nights. Because I thought I was a bitter independent, I hung a lot lower in the night then I had to. I could have been a lot more active.

Despite the fact that I mis-read my role, as began to play the game I realized I really wanted the town to win. Don't know why, but my playstyle kind of shaped me into a bit of a pseudo-townie.

In any case, I'm going to give a big shout out to Dragonclyne, who played a formidable game. Seriously, if he had had a little more luck on his side, I think he totally would have won.

I give an even bigger shout out to Sandslash7, however. He by far contributed the most to the game and his posts alone I think were the biggest ones to shape the game the way that it was played. Figuring out my identity and role was a big one, but calling out Dragonclyne the way you did was killer. That post of yours was by far the best post I have ever seen on the Gym, if not in any Werewolf game EVER.

While I share the spoils of victory with the townies, none of us really won. The credit I believe is fully SS7's. He has played a game that I know I for one am going to study for a long time to come now. Well played, SS7, well played.

RE: Absoltrainer
In regards to my experience with Werewolves game, I have played 2 Werewolves game; 1 on PokeBeach that was moderated by Pokechamp(11-13 gamedays; last half of the game I became an alpha werewolf) and 1 very briefly on Pokegym(1-2 game days before asking to be replaced as I could not keep up with number of posts within a game day and the fact that I was busy outside of the game)

I was a werewolves in both games.

Great job DragonClyne725!! Both you and Sandslash7 played the best in this game.

I'm just happy I was able to make the post retracting my support of King Piplup and Dragonclyne725 being town before AT froze the game. That could have made things more difficult.

That was an amazing game AT.

Too be honest, it's true that I probably shouldn't have been able to find roles for 75% of the living people based on the previous game :rolleyes:.

Amazing game, more thoughts to come later.

Wolves: Why did I get killed off so early? Was I really posing a threat or was it just a shot in the dark?

LucaioEX was a target EVERY night because she wasn't posting and I know as a mod she had much higher activity then she led on. That was all I ever had for her. As for the other roles, we never really got much use out of it. KP, I hope it was useful to you.

KP: Sorry that you were left hanging by yourself. I wish I had you to start with on the team, because Magneboar & PokeDude were completely unresponsive.

When Magneboar started posting VERY rampantly day 1, I got on AIM and told him to chill the heck out or he would get lynched...and he did.

Seriously, the Special forces group was made for greatness but was never able to meet it's full potential. You survived so I would say "Mission accomplished" Great job KP.

This was my 2nd Werewolf game, the first I was killed 1/2 way through. Thanks for having me AT, good luck with your future in the army, and thanks for a great game.

BTW - who has been put in charge of the next one? I will be playing for sure.

Scottistru was the first to vote for Ikrit on that day, and if I am correct, also called him a wolf. But I don't think he ever said that he was Palpatine. You might be thinking of me for that part.
