Fire fang? First off, no-one runs fire fang on Garchomp. That's just plain retard. Secondly, i'm sure that a Dragon Claw (with or without) Swords Dance wrecks Glaceon...smh

...what? are you counter-trolling me, kid?
fine, ran some calcs JUST FOR YOU. Max Attack Garchomp (adamant, max IVs, full EVs in attack) using Dragon Claw against Glaceon (max Defense with neutral nature) deals between 42 and 50%. Assumes 0 HP IVs for Glaceon. Still returns the KO, and has a fair chance at surviving even after Garchomp's Swords Dance.

If you think I was being serious in any case, you need to get your head checked, 'k? Who would even use Glaceon in Ubers?

Luxchomp running LOst Remover? Gross. They have no room...and it's not gonna help because Dialgachomp is already a favorable matchup...it's not necessary.

I would run a couple Lost Removers in Luxchomp. They're not necessary for Dialga (though they help); I prefer them for Machamps, if they're still out there, and Gyarados.

What is that?
Bannette sort of works, but not completely, and mismagius is trash.
I don't really see what you're talking about.
Watch it be something really obvious though :p

It's myself... i show up and all the lostgar players quake with fear.

Just kidding, yeah it's bannette.

vilegar can destroy lostgar and all sp variants exept dialga chomp, well and it kills gyrados if there is a trainer lock.

Kayle 2 the rescue!!

I am betting on vile gar. Everyone is going to be tech ing for lost gar and the vile gar decks will still be top tier.

Why not just play Regice?

A couple of reasons I found after testing;

1. Regice has monster retreat as opposed to bannette's unown Q retreat. (I don't like wasting warps)

2. Regice only lets you discard two cards. There have been a lot of situations in my testing that i needed to discard at least 4 or i would lose.

3. Bannette has a good attack that works easily in your deck, regice does not.

Gleceon doesn't run max defense ev's...aiaiaiaiii

In my trick room team it does.....

I think sp's are going to take it all, because i think gengar is not up to the challenge to get through 4+ rounds of 60 +3.

A good SD garchomp set (IMO) is SD, EQ, SE, and outrage/Dragon claw. Ideally you'd have the advantage of getting a stone edge on the switch as no1 brings garchomp in on an ice type. Then stone edge KO's glaceon and proceeds to sweep.

Im betting on sablock winning, it beats lostgar T1 by donking them, it seems like a good play I run my build with weavile UD and slowking HGSS to maintain the lock the entire game.

Don't discredit Uxie Donk.

Sablelock will be big, and Uxie DESTROYS sablelock.

There are only 2 cards in the format that beat Uxie Donk.

Spiritomb and Gastly(if I go 2nd)

You act like uxie donk automatically wins if it doesn't get trainer locked. The deck is terrible, in the georgia marathon alone I was 6-1 against it using luxchomp.

@magmortar: That's just not true. As long as you tech your luxchomp right, the matchup is no less than 70-30.

I am betting on vile gar. Everyone is going to be tech ing for lost gar and the vile gar decks will still be top tier.

By teching against lostgar do you mean adding dark attackers, possibly dialga, and more ways to discard/get rid of cards from your hand? Cuz that sounds like it also helps the vilegar matchup too.

Hey Guys and Gals!! This is a Great topic, but could we move this discussion HERE to allow everything in one place?

Good Luck Everyone at States!

Not trying to bully you A2K, just wanting to get the discussion in ONE area. Be prepared as we may begin doing this for all Tournaments. It is a nice way to get a Great POLL and Discussion in one area :thumb:
