I can confidently say that my World Championship was more legitimate than Dylans! First of all, people say my tournament didn't even have a top cut, but look at the Finals of 11-14. Dylan won game 1 because his opponent got caught CHEATING, and Bryson won game two because he started CRYING, and the judges felt BAD for him! THIS IS NOT HOW THE GAME WAS INTENDED TO BE PLAYED! I'm the only real 2002 World Champ! THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME POKEGYM!
Come on now Alex. No one doubts your skills. You're a Champ, just not an official "World" Champ.
Ya gotta get over it man! :thumb:

You won't live that down John. But I still remember him coming on the boards saying that he came up with that deck himself.

I remember that as well Dave.Total BS! What did it do ? Appear to him like a fart in the wind?! Please!

Nice way of him saying thanks don't you think ( NOT!).

He watched me KILL Dakota Williams maybe 3 straight Fri. night before worlds, works the room, and comes back w/ a bunch of gatrs, crocs., babies etc. Like the ULTIMATE jack-*** i show him my list. Then he beats my kid in t-4, 2-1 lol

I got what i deserved my friend !

But make NO mistake- he played the list i gave him , minus 4 cards. I had 2-2 double gust, balloon berry. He opted for 4 bill's teleporters. In his report he made reference to 1st commenting on the changes, then wished he had them during at least 2 of his games. W/E - old news. But thanks for the reminder there Dave :)

And fwiw- who the hell comes to worlds w/out a deck anyways. Steve and i playtested for HOURS before that event( remember the "new format" thing? ) and narrowed it down to 2 decks- baby lock and dark t-tar. He still made the correct choice imho. Got an elm from hell game 3 or he at least t-2's.

Dylan's weekend i guess.

Does he still play- anyone know?

Isn't that odd (no deck for Worlds)?

Whatever. Stephen still had a great tournament. 2002 was my all-time favorite.

I don't know if Dylan plays, but I know that Bryson was playing Magic.

I just did a quick search on "Dylan Austin" +magic and found this

Bad Trader: Dylan Austin (One^); ...

LOL

Alex, you won the Professor Challenge tournament at Worlds 2002 that was a side Event.

MattY just used his photo editing software to add the red circle and "World Champion" text.

Technically, you are the Professor Challenge 2002 Champion. It's a "stretch" to say you are the 2002 World Champion just because there was no 15+ Championship that year.

Now, if you can show me an "un-doctored" photo of you holding a trophy you won at that event that says World Champion or Worlds 1st Place, then I'll concede and admit you hold the official title of World Champion.
