Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Who/What win your national champs?

Well there were a lot of problems, and in despite there were 56 players in 11-14 only top 8 was played.
Not enough time for top 16 because the Official organisation ....................
well it's over and there is always a next year.

UPdated and as far as I know this is correct.
But those players (15+) are here on pokegym so they will correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, David won after his opponent (Bjorn) walked away upset during the second game after David wouldn't let him change the Flygon's poke-power energies after he's searched them out of his discard pile, and after he used smooth over (after using the power) to realise he should've done things differently. At least, that's the side of the story I heard.

Congrats to all three winners, see you all in Anaheim!

Btw, that trophy is awesome :D

Congrats! to Oscar

Looking forward to seeing you again this year in California. Remember the Suntan lotion!

yeah i became third, and it was about a coin flip, i hated it
it was 1-1 and we started a new game but time was called, so a sudden death.
well nothing bad about my setup, but after a few turns he got his flariados combo and it was for my lunatone to flip heads. If i could flip heads i could retreat and ko his ariados with my strength charm and if i flipped tails i was ko so he would win. and of course i flipped tails :frown:

WOW! Kevin vs Anna!
Big final! Congrats to all players that got the invite and trip!
And congrats to Arco... Sudden death?? Terrible....
I'm very sorry for Lia's sonsy... What's happen this year?
I hope that you can get an invite in France.....
Kevin, we wait for a report.....

Well boys...returning to the Metagame, it's very interesting to see that in Nederland, a place where the level of game is very high, two decks as Flygon Ex and Lunarock, usually considered "rogue" or not-high-rated (is it english?) did a very good tournament beating the decks considered "the best", Flariados and LBS.
For me, this is an important sign...

The Europe group is starting to build itself...

I wonder if this'll affect the French Nats. A lot of decks there are rogue atm with not many LBSes or other big decks around...

This makes me think that another rogue will win this one.

That, and the UK Nationals on 10th...this is shaping up to be one eeeenteresting fortnight. =D

Ops....i write "for me" everytime....it is impossible to remove it from my head....

Linguistically speaking, this is called "fossilization". It often occurs in second language acquisition.
