Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Why are people scared of Dusknoir LV. X?

In addition to everything folks have mentioned being both a Pokemon and a Stadium makes it so 1 Noir X acts like several stadium cards in your deck giving it great card efficiency.

It's FAR more difficult to recycle stadiums than it is to recycle Noir X even if it doesn't go right back into their hand.

...or just counter stadium...

...or just don't knock it out...

...or knock it out with something besides damage...

Counter stadiums don't work against Dusky Lv.X. It says so on the card.

Um, actually, counter stadiums can save you quite a bit from a couple of turns of spread, even though i have won games in as little as four turns as soon as my Dusknoir Lv.X hits the stadium position, it can be beaten, even though it's really freakin good

Any stadium you play at all will send Dusknoir X back to your opponets hand, if it did not work that way then Dusknoir X would shurely get banned. So you can get rid of a Dusknoir X stadium with Speed Sadium or any other. You can also get rid of it with Lunatone. But my plan is to never let Dusknoir X turn int a stadium in the 1st place.

I was orginally planning on playing Dusknoir for Citys, but it turns out that there are so many people planning on playing this deck, that I have decided to play a Duksnoir/Gengar counter deck instead.

I like my list so far and I cant wait to try it out.

Vileplume may be a good way to KO the Dusky. Unown G doesn't protect it from THAT poison.

Use Autozone with 2x Magnezone SF.6 and 1x Magnezone DP adn 1x Magnezone Lv.X, 2HKO whitout makin thh power work, 1x 80 and Paralyze, second turn Gyro Ball and choose the change, pull out something like Mr.Mime and again the same, avesome deck. Doesn't need Electivires or anythign, Tech in 2 Jirachis (for a start) and 1-2 Registeels (good combo with Magnezone SF) and 1 Mr.Mime and of course 2-2 Claydol, 19 pokemons, rest good engine and that's it...

here's a simple way to deal with dusknoir lvl x as stadium. you yourself run two different types of stadiums and 4 marley's request. if both of your stadiums are in your discard pile, pick both with marley's, either way dusknoir is outta there. this essentially turns two stadium cards into six. even better, if you don't need the marley's for the stadiums, use'em to recycle luxury balls, SSUs or rare candies.

What if one of the stadiums is prized? Or just another unsearchable card in the deck?

i just made the ultimate damage spread dusknoir deck right now i am 16/0

My Lucario/Rayquaza ex deck went 18-1 last year, and still nobody played it.... 16-0 isn't so good if you have bad opponent's and you can't win 18 time in row agaisnt good ones.... So can i ask who have you played with, 16-0 sound little too good to be truth .

i played with people at my league (only the experienced one that have placed first or 2nd at many different cities) the decks i played kingdra/claydol, blissey, dusknoir/gengar, leafeon/magmortar, magmortar/heatran, torterrible, regigigas/togekiss, regigigas/empoleon, a weird form of dusknoir, t-tar, a different form of t-tar, kingdra/claydol (rematch), AMU, AMU/mewtwo, leafeon/magmortar (rematch), dusknoir/gengar (rematch)

Don't bother posting your stats with a deck, because the stats won't have any legitimacy. We don't know your deck, your opponents, your opponent's decks, if it was a tournament, anything. It's just useless information that can't really be verified or trusted.

With that said, most of the decks you listed are kind of bad. Not to sound mean, but if your opponent's decks are indicative of their skill, and the decks look poor, then... you see where I'm going.

But what if you don't run into Dusknoir? You just wasted 6 spots in your deck that could be used for something else good.

Counter stadiums just send Dusknoir Lv. X back to your opponent's hand letting their active Dusknoir have 20 more HP and when it DOES get KO'd, your new stadium gets discarded.

People are scared of it because if you don't run stadiums or play tricks (ways to kill it without turning on the power), you lose.

This thing is good if you do not play counter stadiums or anything like that, like i said, without people discarding the Lv.X, i have won in as easy as 4 turns, and i do play against some legit decks and play against really legit players
