Well, I must agree, Brazil was playin crap that night...there could be no way to win. Lazy players, lazy team, etc. It's lmae, but no crying over spilled milk. My bet is now on Portugal or Germany.
 
Oh man Brazil lost. I don't know what happened the players. They all look lazy and unable to do anything. Hope next world cup they could do better.

For now Germany FTW. teach France never to mess with Brazil.

I'm hoping for my country, Portugal. Being the major underdogs and the only ones in the top 4 without a world cup title.

yeah zidane leaving as a world champ would make the perfect retirement, i cant wait for tomorrows game! i hope germany wins it al, cause im going to berlin and the atmosphere should be a great one if Germany wins.

How is Portugal not the underdongs? The only team without a world cup title left in the top 4......

As for cheating, explain how they cheated? Because Rooney decided to step on someone where it hurts the most? Or maybe because they saved 3 of 4 penalty kicks. Hmmm, I sense jelousy.
 
because Figo hit someone in the head with his forehead in the netherlands game, because ronaldo stepped in the Rooney thing to get him even more angry on purpose, cause Figo has faked so many fouls so far, and so have others, the way they play is jsut dirty and unsportsmanship like.

BTW less than 2 horus for the next game!

FIgo got a yellow card for what he did. Ronaldo did what any true team mate would do. It's not his fault Rooney can't control his temper. Figo faked fouls. Every team fakes fouls. Did you see that Italian last second penalty? He dragged his legs over the player and called a foul. It's not Portugal, it's every soccer team.
I just think you get a little tempered because Netherlands was defeated by Portugal. *Cough* no fair play in returning the ball *cough*
 
Im from Mexico, Im not tempered about the Netherlands, and I was actually rooting for Portugal before, but they just have a dirtyer way of playing than the rest of the Teams, they are definately more manipulative than most.

But yeah whatever, I just hope they dont get past France. =P

Figo's booking was by the admission of the referee, and FIFA wrong in the way it should have been a sending off and a three match ban - Its a bad loop whole in the rules the this happens. As Rooney got sent off to the bench Ronaldo went up to Scolari, winked and Scolari gave him a pat on the back, nothing proved but it looked pretty suspicious.

Rooney was right to be sent off for the push however in the 'stamping' his eyes are up and not looking at his feet. He's trying to get away from two players and he needs to push off one foot to get some speed up.

Yup, he's pure Dutch - it's a well known fact. :tongue:

And the worst thing about the world cup has been teams attempting to abuse sportmanship by going down and pretending to be injured - almost all the teams have done it but Portugal have been the worst.

I heard that on 12 different occasions in the game angainst England the Portugal players went down, the moment England (or Holland, or any other team) kicks it out, the Portugal player stands up and has a recovery that would stun any docter.

Hollland got frustrated and so didn't follow that on occasions (the moment the Dutch players got near the box though, the injured player got pretty well pretty quick:rolleyes:

Incidentally the French and Italien Coaches have warned thier players to watch out for these tactics. It isn't just a blinkered view from the fans of those countries.
 
It's a sport like many others. Those who played nice have been sent home and only the big teams are left. Heck, in the end, what matters is how many balls you burried in the net.
 
Well that's the end of Germany. Germany loses to Italy 2-0.
Italy scores 2 goals in the last 2 minutes of OT to win the game.
Goals are scored by Del Piero and Grosso.

If I didn't predict the score for France vs. Portugal here' s my prediction.
2-1 Portugal beats France.
 
WOW, what a match...Great Game Italy, you played your hearts out!!! nothing to be ashamed about Germany, take 3rd!!! all in all, it was a great game!!! :thumb:
